In this role, you will:

Role Details

• Position: Operations Coordinator
• Location: Remote. Travel required for in person team days 3 - 6 times a year and some travel across Oxfordshire.

By utilising effective campaigning strategies, Animal Equality is having an impact for animals around the world and building a future where all animals are respected and protected and are no longer exploited for human consumption.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly organised, detail-oriented Operations Officer to play a central role in ensuring the smooth running of Animal Equality UK’s internal operations and supporter services.

This is a varied role covering administration, finance, data management, supporter care, and event coordination. You will be the first point of contact for many of our supporters and stakeholders, providing excellent service while supporting team members across all departments.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, solutions-focused, and comfortable balancing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. You will have a ‘can-do’ attitude and a calm and professional demeanour, thrive on problem-solving, and take pride in ensuring that systems and processes run efficiently behind the scenes.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Culture and internal support: Act as a culture ambassador, upholding Animal Equality’s values of professionalism, resilience, accountability, and compassion. Strengthen communication between teams and ensure effective use of project management tools. Identify and lead process improvements with guidance from the Operations Manager.
• Supporter and donor care: Serve as the first point of contact for supporter queries via phone, email, post, and social media. Provide excellent donor support, including thanking donors, resolving payment issues, and sending mailings. Maintain supporter and volunteer records accurately in CRM systems and ensure compliance with GDPR.
• Finance and reporting: Process expenses, supplier payments, and support budget forecasting. Assist with Gift Aid claims, monthly data uploads, and finance reports. Prepare scheduled reports and presentations to track progress against objectives.
• Team processes: Support recruitment processes, including application handling, interview coordination, and onboarding/offboarding schedules. Ensure smooth induction for new staff and manage equipment, training resources, and access.
• Events and operations: Assist with the organisation of internal training, team meet-ups, and supporter events. Support health and safety measures for team members and volunteers at peaceful protests, undertaking risk assessments and first aid training. Manage stock and campaign materials, fulfil supporter requests, and oversee mailing logistics.
• Data and systems: Conduct database cleansing and maintain accurate supporter, volunteer, and executive records.
• Represent Animal Equality’s culture: Support Animal Equality’s life-saving work by producing high-quality output, embracing and representing the organisation’s culture principles proudly at all times, and supporting our philanthropic efforts.

While not common, occasional evening or weekend work may be necessary to support campaigning activities. Any additional hours worked and agreed with your Manager can be reclaimed as TOIL.

Croydon Drop In (CDI) are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic practitioner to work within our award-winning Voluntary Sector services. The post-holder will work within our safeguarding protocols to provide safe interventions for Neurodivergent children, young people and families using evidence-based methodologies. Information about the Job Role

This full-time role will be best suited for applicants who are able to balance a busy work schedule being both office based and community based, working mainly with 16 – 25 year old children, young people and their families, and delivering workshops and one to one support in a range of community based settings, and at CDI sites. The Role

The Social Value Specialist will support SNG to embed impact measurement and social value into teams across the organisation, providing a central, efficient point of contact that leads on developing systems, processes and continuous service improvement.

You will engage with supply chain partners to ensure the delivery of social value in contracts and enable seamless customer service using digital platforms and relationships with community partners.

Connect with team members across the organisation to deliver impact reports and support in creating our annual ESG report.

The Social Value Specialist will report to the Social Value Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, plan and implement a community investment evaluation and monitoring framework, in direct alignment with the community foundation strategy and strategy and the corporate plan
• Work collaboratively across the multi-disciplinary community investment directorate and with other internal teams in the customer directorate across localities to embed a framework for social impact and outcomes recording
• Support the Social Value Manager to provide regular social impact and environmental social, governance (ESG) reporting to the communities' leadership team and to senior management and board when required
• Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation methods and processes for Community Foundation projects and roll out good practice to colleagues and external partners so we can effectively demonstrate our Social Impact
• Lead and support internal teams and external partners in the upload of data such as KPIs onto impact measurement platform for the business, ensuring that information is accurate and easily accessible when required
• Demonstrate strong project management skills to lead and oversee project teams across SNG and with external partners that will bring in external funding
• Build and maintain excellent relationships with stakeholders, including funders, businesses, local authorities and national agencies as required by the Head of Service and managers
• Work closely with the communications team to enable a coordinated communications approach that raises the profile of SNG's work in communities

The aim is to curate powerful and practical warts and all stories, which attendees can ask questions about and dig deep into each other's work.

• Conference production: researching topics, inviting and booking speakers, crafting promotional materials, shouting loudly and proudly about the events and filling up spaces.

• Project management: Planning, tracking and delivering on project objectives across several workflows on time, every time. Managing multiple audiences who are likely to be at different stages of their engagement cycle.

• Customer Relationship Management: designing, building and automating CRMs including sales pipeline design and management eg Hubspot and Airtable

• Copywriting (and digital marketing and email workflow design): designing and writing posts and emails that convert - whether than be speaker invitations, promotional posts or conference onboarding emails.

• Digital marketing integration and automation: integrating and automating digital marketing platforms like eg MailChmip, Hubspot, Airtable and Zapier. Automating drip campaigns and email workflows.

We are seeking to appoint a part-time experienced and capable administrator with the skills and attributes necessary to ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day operations of the Staines & Feltham Circuit.

The successful candidate will work as part of a team with Circuit staff and leadership to support the work of the seven churches in the Circuit and be part of the team praying for the mission and ministry of the Circuit.

Responsibilities will cover areas of administration, communication, governance and compliance.  A full job description and person specification are available as part of the application pack.

This is a mainly office based role working at the Circuit office at Woodthorpe Methodist Church, Ashford, Middlesex.  This post is for 16 hours per week to be worked flexibly by mutual agreement with the Superintendent Minister.

There is a genuine occupational requirement that the post-holder is a Christian and is sympathetic to the values, aims and ethos of the Methodist Church.

Applicants should hold a valid, full driving licence and be willing to travel to meetings at any of the churches in this small and friendly Circuit.

The role will focus on progressing our work around the supporter journey, ensuring that we reach as many potential supporters as possible and enable them to understand our work and feel motivated to support the organisation. Growing our prospect pool and educating these prospects to inspire them to become long-term supporters of our work is essential to the ongoing success of the organisation.

HIV Support Worker – Wakefield (14 hours per week)

Main Purpose of Role

CFAB is a national charity and the UK-branch of the International Social Service network. Our social work team helps to resolve cases involving child protection, children in care, and vulnerable adults when the case crosses international borders. CFAB social workers offer advice and guidance to individuals and local authorities and help to link social work services between the UK and another country. CFAB social workers engage in direct work with beneficiaries through kinship assessments and risk assessments.

The main purpose of the role is: to manage a caseload of complex cases originating in the UK or overseas which involve child protection issues; to support, advise and quality assure the work of social workers in other countries; to deliver training to professionals on issues related to international social work, and: when needed, to complete kinship assessments of family members who have come forward to care for a child in care.

Note: Whilst there are some opportunities to complete direct work with service users, such opportunities are limited as the focus of the role involves supporting social workers abroad and delivering training to UK Local Authorities.

Main duties, tasks and key results

1. To hold a caseload of allocated cases originating in the UK or overseas

• Quality assuring complex kinship and parenting assessments completed by social workers abroad for court proceedings in the UK.
• Managing complex cases requiring liaison with local authorities or individuals in the UK, and the relevant authorities overseas to resolve the case;
• Assessing cases referred to CFAB, identifying the intervention required and the resources/agency to undertake it
• Preparing information for referral abroad or to an agency in the UK;
• Establishing, developing and maintaining relationships with clients and/or agencies in the UK and overseas to ensure the progression of cases to resolution;
• Ensuring that all cases are dealt with in a manner consistent with CFAB guidelines and Social Work England’s’ professional standards;
• Undertaking the required administrative tasks.

2. To participate in running the Advice Line service and responding to enquiries made to CFAB

• Offering advice to local authorities, NGOs and individuals
• Advising on referral procedure and fees
• Sending follow-up documents to enquirers
• Liaising with overseas partners for advice and to establish if services are available

3. To provide training to local authority professionals

• Deliver training sessions, jointly and single-handedly, to UK authorities on issues relating to international child protection, e.g. child trafficking and private fostering
• Present on CFAB’s behalf to conferences on international child protection, as required.

4. To undertake social work assessments

• Undertake kinship assessments of individuals in the UK who have applied to care for a child within their family who is in care in another country;

5. To support the development of the Social Work Team and wider CFAB team through:

• Participation in social work and CFAB team meetings
• Regular supervision meetings with line manager
• Representing CFAB to external partners
• Contributing to special projects as required

6.  To be adaptable and willing to take on new roles and responsibilities as the services of CFAB develop in response to the changing needs

7. To maintain up to date knowledge of legislation and policies affecting the work of CFAB to ensure a high quality consultancy service to service users.

8.  To present, represent and promote the organisation to a range of audiences and settings, including promotional events.
