Responsibilities of our Community Fundraising Officer:
- This role supports the delivery, growth and reach of community fundraising in a defined geographical location and supports the development and delivery of a local fundraising strategy in line with the organisation’s broader income generation objectives.
- The Community Fundraising Officer will establish, implement, develop and maximize all community fundraising opportunities, increase income, deliver exceptional supporter stewardship and exemplary volunteer management, working collaboratively with the Community Fundraising Hub Manager and Community Fundraising Volunteer Team Leader to build on past successes and develop a diverse pipeline of community fundraising events and activities that respond to local audience needs.

About the role:
We are seeking a new Head of Business and Operations to play a crucial role in supporting the Head to review and drive continuous improvement.
The key responsibilities in the role will include:
- Finances: You will oversee and manage all finances and a multi million pound budget for the school.
- Human Resources: This will include leading on people strategy, workforce planning and performance management including evaluating the schools operational model.
- Systems and Processes: One of the immediate priorities for this role will be to evaluate systems and processes (for monitoring areas outlined in the job description) and seek ways to streamline these with innovative solutions.
This role does involve line management of two assistant operations managers as well as other office and facilities staff within the school.

Role purpose

Key tasks and responsibilities:
1. Management of a portfolio of national skills competitions across a range of industry sectors:
Develop knowledge and understanding of each competition and their operational needs and requirements, through meetings (one-to-one and group), with competition organising partners (COPs), educators and industry.
• Provide technical and operational advice, guidance, and support on competition delivery to internal teams, partners, and external stakeholders in education and industry.
• Undertake mid-year and annual reviews of competition organising partners (COPs) and continually seek to develop efficient quality procedures.
• Support competition organising partners (COPs) to understand programme requirements and produce key documentation to a consistent high quality and standard, submitted to agreed timeframes
2. Management of all contracts and processes associated with WorldSkills UK’s network of competition organising partners (COP’s):
Implement the competitions organising partner (COP) quality assurance and continuous improvement model and monitoring framework, to ensure the programme runs effectively through contract compliance and that key milestones are met and risks are mitigated.
• Quality assure and sign off key competition deliverables and milestones, reporting and tracking progress on centralised monitoring systems.
• Carry out monthly catch up and bi-annual reviews of competition organising partners (COPs) and support them to continually improve programme delivery resulting in a high-quality, innovative competitions and a positive competitor experience. Page 7 of 10
• Provide development support to delivery partners to raise the standard and quality of competitions delivered within their footprint, in collaboration with the Quality and Standards team. This also includes organising sector-based cluster meetings for competition organising partners to foster greater collaboration and collect, synthesise and exchange information and best practice pertinent to their particular industry or sector.
• Ensure monitoring and reporting systems are accurate and kept up to date.
• Work with the Corporate Partnerships team to manage competitions funded through an investment model.
3. Support the development of new skills competitions:

Head of Programmes role
The Head of Programmes will oversee all elements of programme design, development and delivery at First Give. They will lead the Programmes Team, including line management of two Programme Managers, ensuring high quality delivery of all First Give programmes
Contract: Full time, permanent
Salary: £43,000 (+£2,000 London weighting if applicable)
Location: This role will be hybrid, with 2-3 days a week based in our office in Central London (West Hampstead). Regular travel across England and Wales will be required.

Key responsibilities
Programme Delivery
- Lead the Programmes Team to ensure all First Give partner schools are supported to deliver outstanding First Give programmes
- Oversee and monitor delivery of First Give programmes at partner schools, including planning and tracking programme delivery against the charity’s ambitious targets and deadlines and ensuring First Give is resourced to deliver planned programmes (programme resources, personnel and budget)
- Lead on procurement and provision of First Give programme resources
- Provide regular updates for the Director on programme delivery and performance across all partner schools
- Manage escalated objections or issues raised by partner schools and other relevant stakeholders
- Support the Programmes Team to recruit, train and support a team of freelance facilitators to ensure all First Give schools receive excellent quality sessions and events at their school
- Ensure retention of existing partner school relationships year on year to organisational target
Programme Development and Improvement
- Ensure First Give Teacher Hub and all Programme resources are up to date, accessible and high quality
- Lead on annual programme resource improvement process for all programmes
- Lead on the development of new programmes at First Give in line with organisational strategy (including First Give Primary, First Give Step Up and First Give One Day)
Monitoring & Evaluation
- Develop and implement a robust Evaluation Plan to ensure First Give is consistently able to report on the impact and efficiency of its programmes
- Coordinate the collection and utilisation of data and insights on programme delivery and impact to implement improvements to programming
- Provide impact data in an easily accessible format for use by the Director, Deputy Director and others for fundraising, reporting and other communications
Programmes Team Leadership
- Develop and cultivate a positive, hard-working and happy team culture in line with First Give brand identity
- Manage complaints and/or performance management issues effectively to ensure success of individuals and the wider team
- Line manage the Programme Managers, ensuring development opportunities
Youth Voice
- Work with the Director to develop a new approach for First Give to encourage, engage and amplify young people’s voices in the development of our work
- Create meaningful opportunities for young people to influence and engage with our work and impact
Safeguarding
- Act as First Give’s Deputy Designated Safeguarding Officer, ensuring compliance with our safeguarding procedures and processes and working to develop a culture of safeguarding within the organisation

- Strategic Stewardship Planning: Working collaboratively with the management team you will develop and implement a forward-looking stewardship strategy that aligns with our key objectives and the fundraising goals of our charity partners.

About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Peer Support Worker to join our team in the Camden Crisis Teams. We are looking for both full and part time staff, (working hours to be agreed, however, our service runs Monday to Friday, between the hours of 9am-5pm), on a permanent contract. The post is a permanent contract with a starting salary between £24,000 - £31,000 pro rata depending on experience.

You will work with the Peer Support Team and draw upon lived experience to assist service users to move forward positively. Acting as a specialist resource to provide a unique perspective to service users.
You will hold a small caseload to allow regular sessions to be held with the service user, maintaining confidential records, utilising VoiceAbility and NHS electronic records system. Planning, implementation of and review of care packages, including parts of the individual care plan.
