About the role 

This is an exciting new post in the Communications Team at Glass Door. Reporting to the Head of Communications, this role will support the delivery of a new paid & organic digital marketing strategy, working closely & collaboratively with both the Comms & Fundraising Teams, as well as co-lead on the delivery of a new website. 

Through this role, we will ensure that all our existing supporters are actively communicated with and that we are regularly engaging with a range of new supporters through a unique & tailored approach.

What you will do as part of our team 

Marketing:  

• Work with all internal stakeholders to develop digital marketing campaigns across paid, earned and owned channels delivering against KPI’s for income, campaigning and brand awareness. 

• Co-manage delivery of multiple/ congruent campaigns, appeals & events to attract & engage new supporters - often working alongside key members of other teams including fundraising, operations and advocacy teams. 

• Co-lead on the project management & delivery of a new website

• Work collaboratively with the Digital Comms Officer to ensure all content is optimised for multiple purpose/platforms and in line with our brand guidelines 

• Contribute creative ideas to generate content for campaigns, news stories, blogs and social media 

• Oversee development and delivery of quarterly e-newsletters. Assist colleagues with their email marketing to ensure on brand and in line with overall digital calendar 

• Work closely with the Individual Giving Officer to run email marketing campaigns - including audience specific segmented email journeys

• Work closely with the Community & Corporate fundraising colleagues to ensure content and digital journeys are meeting their needs through an integrated marketing approach

Monitor impact 

• Monitor the impact of paid & organic marketing campaigns to report on key KPI’s and metrics. Using tools within social media platforms and Google analytics. 

• Work closely & collaboratively with the Digital Comms Officer to ensure all conversions of paid promotion are tracked effectively & efficiently 

• Analyse marketing journeys for collaborative Fundraising deliverables – including campaigns & appeals and create monthly reports to share success of conversions 

• Lead on the moderation and tracking of website usage 

• Lead on the evaluation of social media and online reach, create monthly reports, and assist with evaluating the effectiveness of campaigns & appeals 

• Lead on the monitoring and track Google ads & analytics 

• Monitor and follow trends within digital and innovation to improve the organisation’s digital presence and activities 

Strategy 

• Support the creation & delivery of the digital audit of GD web & socials 

• Support the creation & delivery of the GD Communications Strategy – specifically the digital marketing strategy 

• Support the Fundraising Team’s strategic promotion objectives of campaigns, appeals & challenge events

Other

• Attend and participate in relevant team meetings, and other ad hoc meetings when necessary 

• Undertake other ad hoc tasks as directed, such as assistance on Glass Door events and fundraising & challenge events

The Role  

This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional with up to 3 years of experience in administration which includes administering and monitoring databases. The post will provide the Team with accurate, timely and comprehensive data, reports and minutes to support and enable effective grant making and decision making. The post plays a crucial role in supporting the whole Team in the UK and in Africa with the potential for visiting Egmont Partners and projects in southern & eastern Africa. 

The successful candidate will be highly IT competent, possess good written communication skills and have a positive attitude and strong desire to help meet the objectives of this small but very effective international development charity. A keen eye to detail, a methodical and analytical mind are critical requirements of the role. The ideal candidate will be young self-motivated, capable of working as part of a team and under their own initiative. Strong IT knowledge and experience in MS Office and data administration are essential requirements of the role. 

Flexibility will also be a key attribute. They will be part of a small team who have overlapping responsibilities and support each other in the delivery of Egmont’s strategy. Egmont is a fully remote office environment. As such, candidates from around the UK are invited to apply. We have staff, trustees and other key contacts in Cardiff, London, Lusaka & Harare. About the PVRI
We’re a small charity with a global reach and an important purpose: to reduce the burden of pulmonary vascular disease (PVD) - a serious condition that can lead to heart damage and trigger symptoms like breathlessness, chest pain, fatigue, poor growth, fainting, and light-headedness. PVD can reduce both quality of life and length of life, but it isn’t widely recognised or well-understood.

Our aim is to improve clinical care, education, and PVD research. To do this, we bring together an international network of thousands of clinicians, scientists, academics, and industry partners supported by our small team based in Bermondsey, London. About the role
We are seeking a Marketing Officer to help grow and service the charity's international membership, increase the value of our membership offer, increase our income, and deliver our e-learning programmes. You’ll help ensure our members are informed about the latest developments and learning opportunities, and they’re valued for their contributions to the PVRI. No two days are the same. One day, you might be writing content for our website and social media channels, and the next, you might be welcoming respected speakers and attendees from over 30 countries to our scientific webinar.

We are looking for someone with excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail. You’ll need to create successful marketing plans and grow our membership. You will also bring excellent organizational skills and the ability to coordinate high-quality webinars.

Duties and key responsibilities

Policy

• Work with the Policy and Public Affairs Manager to support and deliver Sarcoma UK’s policy development.
• Support the development of evidence-based policy positions that are representative of the external healthcare environment, working alongside colleagues, clinical and healthcare professionals.
• Produce a range of high-quality, evidence-based documents including briefings, reports, and consultation responses.
• Support the Policy and Public Affairs Manager to respond to government and other sarcoma-focused or cancer consultations.

The Membership officer will play a key role in ensuring a smooth and successful membership journey for FSC members. This role will be responsible for the oversight and coordination of member activities and events. The successful candidate will be a strategic and creative thinker with substantial experience in leading on youth engagement, participation and partnerships with adolescent girls, young people and youth-led organisations including supporting their engagement in advocacy, campaigns, and organisational governance. Just Like Us is the LGBT+ young people’s charity and works with thousands of schools and young people across the UK through its programmes.

Our Education Programmes are focused on engaging primary schools, secondary schools and sixth form colleges across the UK to take part in our programmes and ensure LGBT+ young people can thrive. Just Like Us has already worked with thousands of schools and gained recognition for our Growing up LGBT+ report (2020) and our Positive Futures report (2023). By 2025, we aim to reach more than 60,000 school pupils annually through our programmes.

Programme delivery:

• Support the Programmes Team to deliver our programmes, including Pride Groups, School Talks and School Diversity Week 
• Manage the administration of Education Programmes 
• Act as a first point of contact for schools on our programmes, answering questions, sharing new resources and encouraging participation. This includes engaging with new schools to increase our networks and managing a busy inbox

As a Marketing and Communications Officer, you'll leverage your creativity and proficiency in copywriting and editing across a variety of digital platforms. Key responsibilities

• Maintain a regular flow of engaging content for our websites and newsletters, ensuring consistency and audience engagement.
• Write copy for the website, newsletters, and occasionally for social media. Ensure all copy is engaging, informative, and tailored to the intended audience.
• Regularly update and maintain the company website. Liaise with internal partners to ensure all content is current and relevant.
• Support the development and implementation of digital marketing campaigns in collaboration with the Digital Content Officer (DCO) and the Digital Marketing Manager (DMM).
• Coordinate closely with website, content, and Google Ads Grant agencies to ensure seamless alignment with Youth Music’s digital marketing strategy.

Stories and Media Officer

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced storyteller to show the impact of live music in healthcare through the voices of the charity’s diverse community. This could be people who have experienced the live music, their family members, health and care staff, musicians or other stakeholders.

The Stories and Media Officer will be skilled at telling stories in different ways for a variety of audiences and channels. They will demonstrate human connection and the power of music to create special moments and memories.

The Role

You will build trust with people the charity is sharing a story on behalf of and foster lasting relationships. You will manage media contacts, seeking out relevant opportunities in the press and work with partners on features.

Main duties and responsibilities include:

• Lead on storytelling - writing effective and powerful stories to meet the needs of different functions, including fundraising materials, direct marketing, social media, sector reports and events, press opportunities, website features and publications.
• Attend live music experiences to conduct interviews and facilitate photography/filming etc
• Proactively identify and propose opportunities where stories can support and amplify the work of the charity, increasing awareness and supporting fundraising and impact reporting.
• Work within the communications team to facilitate social media and video content
• Manage a database of stories, case studies and quotes

About You

You will have experience of working across organisations to gather powerful and impactful stories and of building and maintaining relationships with different stakeholders. You will have a proven track record of successfully selling stories into local media and of managing stories in a database, including measuring and reporting on campaign performance.

About the Organisation

Centrepoint, the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity, is looking for Partnerships Grant Giving Officer to join our Partnership team. This role is offered on a hybrid-working basis with home working combined with 2 days per week on average in our London, Manchester or Birmingham office (TBC on application).

We help vulnerable young people by giving them the practical and emotional support they need to find a job and live independently. Centrepoint provides homeless young people with accommodation; health support and life skills in order to get them back into education, training and employment. We want to end youth homelessness by 2037. Together with our partners, we support over 16,000 young people each year. It is a truly exciting time to be joining Centrepoint, as we work towards our vision to end youth homelessness by 2037.

About the role

The Grant Officer post will help Centrepoint to develop a grant-giving project as a part of a wider externally funded programme called More Than a Roof. The More Than a Roof programme that is supported by a large corporate partner, is projected to launch in the Autumn 2024 and will last for three years.

At Centrepoint and through the partners we work with, we see vulnerable young people arriving at supported living hostels following periods of rough sleeping, family relationship breakdowns, and a myriad of other traumatic experiences. Initially, Centrepoint wants to transform hostels around the country into homely and safe environments where young people can overcome trauma and receive the specialist support they need to give them a starting point for a happier life. We want to enable our 100 plus partner charities to access funding to implement the More Than a Roof philosophy, through a new grant-giving scheme. Youth homelessness charities would have the opportunity to apply for grants to make the living spaces of young people escaping homelessness, more like homes. This new programme will be the first time that Centrepoint has provided grants to other organisations. It will be an innovation for Centrepoint and one that we will learn from, as we provide vital additional funding for small to medium organisations working with homeless young people across the sector.

What you'll be doing: 

• oversee the whole grant-giving process from the launch to communications and outreach; application and selection
• putting forward applications to the Grant Allocations board for approval
• organise the awards and distribute the funding in accordance to policies ensuring it is dispensed to a diversity of organisations across the UK and delivers impactful change for homeless young people
• maintain a grants management system and manage data in line with GDPR and other relevant policies
• establish and build strong relationships with strategic stakeholders and grantees
• monitor and evaluate the impact and success of each grant given by getting grantees to complete required monitoring forms,
• ensure all activity achieves the intended outputs and outcomes on time and within budget.
