The role
We are looking for an Executive Assistant to support our CEO and COO. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with exceptional communication skills and meticulous attention for details. This person should have experience working with colleagues at a senior level, in an office environment, performing a range of administrative duties. Given the dynamic nature of the executive landscape, we will rely on the executive assistant to be flexible and consistent while maintaining the confidentiality of high-level systems and operations.
Objectives of this role
- Support the CEO/COO primarily to ensure the smooth and efficient running of FareShare operations.
- Manage communication and contacts with external stakeholders including network and industry partners and board of trustees.
Main areas of responsibility
- Scheduling and calendar management, as well as content and flow of information to the leadership team, board of trustees and other external stakeholders
- Inbox management including responding to and redirecting emails and other correspondence as directed.
- Liaise with leadership team and other key colleagues across the organisation.
- Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner.
- Support the CEO/COO with travel and accommodation arrangements.
- Maintain professionalism and strict discretion and confidentiality.
- Organise and plan events, both internal and off-site on behalf of the CEO/COO
- To undertake any other tasks that would be deemed suitable within this role as directed by line management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of all purchases, payments and returns, including supplier invoices, staff payments (salaries, expenses and advances), project and contractor payments and credit card transactions. Responsible for project reporting against budget.
Key responsibilities (full responsibilities listed in the application pack):
- Ownership of the purchase ledger system, administering the entire process of invoice receiving, checking, coding, distributing for approval, posting to the accounts software (currently Sage), setting up domestic and international payments for authorisation, and electronic filing of documents.
- Administering all credit card returns including distribution of statements to colleagues, checking and coding returns, collating documents, submitting for line-manager approval, posting to Sage and following up on outstanding items.
- Administering staff and contractors expense claims, advances, returns and funds transfer requests, including checking and coding, submitting for budget-holder approval, arranging payment both domestic and international, and electronic filing of documents.
- Recording project expenditure against budget and drafting project financial returns to meet funder deadlines.

The role:

The CEO will also be responsible for the Church's sensitive commercial development through the Trust’s wholly-owned commercial subsidiary company.

You will be an excellent leader with effective interpersonal skills. Your recent experience will be at the director level or equivalent in the third sector, public sector, military or commerce. You will have a proven track record of leading or significantly contributing to the leadership of an organisation similar in size and complexity to the Temple Church. Purpose of the Senior Communications Officer role:

The End Violence Against Women Coalition (EVAW) is looking for a Public Affairs Officer to help drive forward our campaigning to end violence against women in all its forms.
The last few years have seen a huge increase in awareness of violence against women and girls, and support for our work. ABOUT THE ROLE
EVAW’s public affairs officer will help persuade policy makers and stakeholders to prioritise tackling violence against women and girls (VAWG) and develop policy and practice that is effective, inclusive and rooted in equalities and human rights.
Typical tasks for this job might include reviewing and synthesising political speeches and debates, drafting briefings for MPs and other stakeholders and supporting with the organisation of stakeholder events such as parliamentary and party conference meetings.
Candidates are likely to have some experience in public affairs or policy work on VAWG or a related field connected to social justice, human rights and equalities. and will be seeking an opportunity to work in a highly impactful, agile and dynamic feminist organisation.
A background in VAWG will of course be an asset, but regardless you’ll need to show us you can keep abreast of key political developments, identify challenges and opportunities to pursue an organisation’s aims, and work to influence key decision-makers in a given field. The Role
The Senior Policy Officer will be involved in a variety of exciting policy work, including the development of three new sets of standards, the evaluation and development of the revalidation framework, stakeholder engagement, and work on the regulation of online pharmacy, amongst others. This is an important role that will provide the opportunity to develop policy skills and work on interesting programmes of work.
This is a hybrid role with flexible working arrangements, where the team mostly works remotely and co-locates 1-2 days a month, or as required.
This role is subject to a basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check as part of our pre-employment due diligence.
The successful applicant will:
- Develop and manage a variety of different stakeholder relationships, including with internal colleagues across the organisation as well as external stakeholders from across the pharmacy sector, including membership bodies, representative bodies, and other healthcare regulators, as well as patients and the public.
- Support and work closely with policy practitioners from across the organisation, gaining valuable policy experience and development opportunities.
- Assist in the design, development, and delivery of policies in line with the strategic aims and objectives of the GPhC.
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Be highly organised and able to prepare high quality written documents for different audiences.
- Possess strong communication skills with the ability to influence.

This is an exciting time to become a Support Officer for CHAIN, as we carry out some major upgrades to the system and implement new ways of working. This dynamic role requires a flexible skillset, responsiveness, and a willingness to learn. Working collaboratively in a small team, you will:
