Role Overview and Main Responsibilities

One of the main areas of this role is to improve the Digital Marketing systems of the college. This involves managing multiple projects and supervising other team members within their roles. The postholder will also work alongside the CEO to develop and implement a new marketing strategy to enable ANCC to achieve its vision and mission globally. • Enhancing the digital systems of the college for the purposes of marketing

The Policy and Campaigns Officer will develop policy positions and campaigns that will help ensure that the needs, rights and priorities of those living with DMD are understood and acted on by decision makers, policy makers, parliament and government. The Officer will work closely with colleagues in the Policy and Communications team to support a cohesive and impactful approach to policy, engagement and communications.

Job Description

• To ensure that the charity’s policy and campaigning work is firmly grounded in the views and experiences of the DMD community and to ensure that they are consulted and involved in the development (and delivery where appropriate) of Duchenne UK’s policy positions and campaigns.

Essential experience:

• Experience of working in a policy and/or campaigning role.

• Experience of using digital and social media for influencing and campaigning purposes.

Desirable experience:

This pivotal role involves leading impactful digital campaigns, amplifying the organisations voice, and streamlining website and social media strategies within a dynamic educational environment.

Role Overview
The successful candidate will manage the organisation's social media and digital content, driving engagement across channels such as Instagram and LinkedIn. They will oversee website content consolidation, develop innovative strategies, and ensure alignment with institutional goals during a busy transitional period.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement social media strategies to expand reach and engagement, with a focus on Instagram and LinkedIn, and explore opportunities on TikTok for broader audiences.
• Manage daily social media content creation, scheduling, and live engagement, ensuring content aligns with the organisation’s mission and audience interests.
• Analyse and evaluate social media performance, providing insights and recommendations for future campaigns.
• Coordinate website content across multiple school sites, supporting the roll-out of a centralised platform, and advise on SEO.
• Monitor social media trends and emerging platforms; recommend innovative ways to increase visibility and impact.
• Respond to reactive communications or crises swiftly, supporting urgent messaging needs.

Person Specification

• Proven experience managing social media platforms with a strategic approach to audience growth and engagement.
• Ability to produce compelling copy and multimedia content under tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills and experience using social media listening and measurement tools.
• Knowledge of website management, SEO, and GEO
• Creative thinker with a passion for innovative digital storytelling.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, capable of working effectively in a small team environment.
• Resilient, adaptable, and able to handle fast-paced projects and changing priorities.

What’s on Offer
Salary: Day rate £197-£217 + daily holiday pay
Hybrid Working: 3 days a week in a central London officer 
Length: 3-6 month contract hiring immediately.

About the role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised individual to join our small and dedicated team on a fixed term contract of 5 months, to be the first point of contact for our supporters and donors — helping to grow, inspire, and retain our community of givers.

In this role, you will:

• Engage and inspire supporters – be the first point of contact for donors, providing excellent supporter care and building lasting relationships.
• Deliver exceptional supporter journeys – manage and grow our community of regular donors through personalised communications that deepen engagement and improve retention.
• Drive individual giving growth – help meet revenue and retention goals by supporting donor acquisition campaigns and managing ongoing giving programmes.
• Create compelling content – craft inspiring copy for emails, web pages, and social media to attract and retain supporters.
• Deliver impactful fundraising campaigns – collaborate across UK and global teams to plan, launch, and evaluate digital fundraising initiatives.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for global issues, women’s empowerment and human rights who has excellent communication skills, including written and verbal to engage and enthuse supporters for Women for Women International. We are looking for someone to join the team who is creative and able to identify and maximise opportunities and can build and manage successful relationships with a variety of stakeholders.  Above all, you’ll be a team player who’s motivated to build relationships and contribute to a mission-driven organisation.

Previous charity sector experience is desirable; however, transferable talents will also be considered for this role.
