Job title: Internally this role is known as Partnership Development Lead (New Business)
Location: Based in London, E1. This is a hybrid role with homeworking available in line with Crisis’ Hybrid Working Policy. There is an expectation to be in the office one day a week. There will need to be flexibility to travel to meet with key prospects.

We are seeking a passionate and strategic Head of Community Fundraising to join our team and play a pivotal role in developing Dementia UK’s Community Fundraising strategy, providing excellent fundraising experiences and delivering high quality supporter journeys which maximise short, medium and long-term income generation for Dementia UK.
Leading the Community Fundraising team, you will play a critical role in ensuring Dementia UK can continue to expand its vital services for families affected by dementia. Job summary

- Working closely with the service delivery team ensuring that the right people are recruited and engaged into the right roles, in the right place, and at the right times.
- Collaborating with the communications team ensuring the widest possible publicity for the region’s needs through media and social media opportunities, local press, radio, TV, and online forums.
- Liaising closely with the fundraising team delivering against recruitment targets linked to grants.
- Working with the fundraising team on proposals and grant applications using regional knowledge, identifying local need, and collecting case studies.
- Identifying speaking and presenting opportunities ensuring that Re-engage's work is promoted to referrers.

As our new Community Heat and Energy Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering our major new community heat and energy workstrand. You’ll work with expert partners to move forward local renewable energy projects which help power clean heat solutions at three different sites, as well as developing ways to remove barriers to delivering this type of project, such as supplying energy locally and matching supply and demand.
The role will include coordinating and working with key expert partners, including community energy groups and research partners, across the three sites. The design stage of the project is largely complete, but there is still scope for creativity in delivery.
Like all our staff, you will contribute to our anti-oppression work, attend team-wide meetings and training sessions and feed in to the production of organisational strategy. And everyone at Possible chips in in the best ways they are able, by doing things like organising digital birthday cards, taking out the bins or the virtual equivalent, so there’s that too.

- Being fully responsible for the provision and management of the system
- Owning the list of user requirements. These are known as product backlog items (PBIs) and are drawn from user group meetings/discussions. These PBIs are then scheduled for build and release.
- Manage the relationship with any external support companies for the relevant products and interconnected products and systems including accounting online, bank checking and deduping systems.
- Manage the data cleanliness, accessibility, availability and retention in accordance with our data governance and security policies particularly the information and data management framework. And develop and maintain automated processing of bulk data.
- Enshrine continuous improvement into the use and development of our Products.
Our use of Product Management comprises of all of our critical business systems (Finance, HR, Intranet, Microsoft end user applications).

About the role
The Programmes Lead will play a key role in leading and implementing the delivery of a range of programmes which at present includes Growing the Top, the SEND Developmental Peer Review and the Trust Leaders’ Network (subject to change based on organisational need).

1. Grant & trust applications
You will drive the research, development, and management of grant applications and trust funding. Your role involves identifying funding opportunities that align with Hong Kong Watch’s mission and preparing detailed proposals that secure essential resources for our projects.
2. Fundraising campaigns & donor engagement
In this responsibility, you will design and execute targeted fundraising campaigns and events. You will work to cultivate and maintain relationships with individual donors, trusts, and institutional funders, ensuring a consistent flow of financial support that underpins our advocacy and community work.
3. Coordination & communications

Identify suitable grant opportunities, trusts, and philanthropic funding sources both in the UK and internationally. You will draft, refine, and submit proposals that reflect Hong Kong Watch’s strategic priorities, ensuring compliance with each funder’s requirements. -

Donor relationship management:

We are looking for an experienced campaigner with hands-on knowledge of digital campaigning and digital mobilisation techniques, to join our high performing Campaigns and Public Affairs team.
You'll have previously played a key role in successful campaigning activities which have brought about a change in policy and practice, and will be comfortable with fast-paced work.
You'll have a proactive, and collaborative approach which will make sure our campaigning is joined up between the national and regional levels, and that our engagement activities are embedded across the organisation.
In this busy role, you'll co-ordinate our national campaigns activity, helping to lead RNIB's national campaigns activity and strategy, working closely with our Senior Campaigns Manager.
You'll be managing a Campaigns Officer and a Campaigns assistant, providing coaching and support to make our national campaigning as effective as possible.
You'll provide strong project management for our influencing campaigns, whether campaigning to protect disability benefits, or to make streets and transport more accessible for blind and partially sighted people, for example.
You will bring our campaigns to life in a way that embeds lived experience and tells the story effectively for sighted people, driving them to take action. You will own content for our 'campaigner' audience, making sure our communications are effective, whether someone is new to RNIB's campaigns or is already a committed campaigner ready to go the extra mile.
This role will ensure that lived experiences are integrated into our storytelling, and will seek creative ways to motivate decision-makers or the public to take action.
Day to day, you'll collaborate with other teams across Policy, Campaigns, and Social Action to maximise opportunities for driving change, and will make sure national campaigning is aligned with our local campaigning, working with our two Local Campaigns Leads.
You'll also join forces with colleagues in RNIB's Engagement directorate to get campaigning fully embedded in our engagement and volunteering supporter journeys.
You'll have experience of project managing campaign activities, with a strong attention to detail, and an instinct for crafting compelling calls to action. You'll bring expertise in digital campaigns, with an understanding of best practice in digital and social content, as well as how to monitor the effectiveness of our communications.
You'll have a good understanding of disability issues and the social model of disability, and awareness of issues affecting blind and partially sighted people.
You'll be comfortable with collaborating with colleagues within and outside your immediate team, leading on the implementation of projects and coordinating day to day tasks.
You'll have effective verbal and written communication skills, and knowledge of how to adapt your communications style to suit the audience.
