The role:

• Drive the strategic development of Christian Aid’s digital ecosystem, ensuring alignment with the organisation’s values and overarching goals.
• Develop and implement a robust search engine optimisation (SEO) and link-building strategy to improve website health, attract relevant traffic, and support user acquisition targets.
• Deliver key digital projects focused on enhancing campaign effectiveness and maximising income and impact, including:
  • Technical SEO
  • Site audits
  • Keyword research and analysis
  • Competitor and backlink analysis
• Collaborate with the Senior Digital Content Editor to implement the digital content strategy across Christian Aid’s digital channels—including social media—to maximise reach, engagement, and income.
• Work cross-functionally with other teams to execute the digital ecosystem content roadmap, ensuring all content is user-focused and impact-driven.
• Define and brief content requirements that support SEO and conversion rate optimisation (CRO) efforts, enabling data-informed and impactful decisions.
• Lead the organisation’s tag management strategy and implementation, including:
  • Tag structure and tools
  • Server-side tagging
  • Integration with the customer data platform (CDP)
  • Ensuring all tracking functionality is accurate and effective

About you:

• Completed training in Google Analytics 4 (GA4), user experience (UX), search engine optimisation (SEO), and other key digital disciplines.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and inspire high-performing teams across content management and social media.
• Advanced expertise in technical SEO, including:
  • On-page and off-page optimisation
  • Technical SEO best practices
  • Successful implementation of link-building strategies
• Highly proficient in digital analytics and performance tools, including:
  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
  • SEMrush (or equivalent platforms)
  • Google Tag Manager
  • Hotjar and ContentSquare
  • Power BI and Looker Studio
• Experienced in managing external suppliers and partners across digital platforms and tools.

Shout Out UK (SOUK) is a UK-based award-winning political and media literacy organisation with nearly a decade of experience in delivering impactful educational campaigns. Our mission is to defend and amplify democracy by equipping individuals with the critical thinking skills needed to navigate the complex information landscape and engage as informed, active citizens. We have a strong track record of working with educators and young people across various contexts, and we are the secretariat for the UK’s All-Party Parliamentary Group for Political and Media Literacy.

The Position:

You will be joining our small, passionate NGO to lead our resource development. Reporting directly to the Head of Programmes, you will be tasked with developing and producing educational programmes and materials on topics such as Political & Media Literacy, counter-extremism, and online safety. This will involve ensuring resource related KPIs are met within budget and on time, alongside supporting our Head of Programmes in coordinating delivery of projects. Some projects may be handled by you directly at times. Projects and resources can vary from developing media literacy workshops for schools, creating digital assets for counter-extremism training and campaigns, to planning content for city-wide democratic engagement campaigns.

This position requires an enhanced DBS check, provided by SOUK, in accordance with our Child Protection and Safeguarding policies.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, update and design learning and campaign resources for schools, colleges and for digital campaigns.

• Support the Head of Programmes in managing and delivering on our diverse projects. 

• Run relevant projects yourself as required.

• Recruit, coordinate and support schools and teachers across the UK to take on our political and media literacy workshops and projects.

• Establish and maintain effective relationships with teachers, councils and other stakeholders.

This is a hugely exciting time to work for the UK’s leading dementia charity. Our content reaches hundreds of thousands of people affected by dementia. Our practical advice helps users feel less isolated and make informed life decisions. It connects them to support that can make a huge difference to those living with dementia and their families and carers. 
At the heart of our ambition is creating inclusive information to offer a better future. We are always looking to improve what we do and how we do it. Can you bring content expertise to help us reach wider audiences, especially those who find it harder to access information and support? You’ll create content for a variety of audiences in different formats, such as Easy Read and translations and across print and online channels, including audio.  
In this role, you will work with the Publishing and Editorial Manager and our Content and Digital teams to deliver meaningful impact on the lives of people affected by dementia. We are part of the Income & Engagement directorate, focused on establishing the urgency of quality care and support for people with dementia and driving the engagement to resolve this. Harris Hill has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing and Communications Lead to join a charity for 6 months, in the SW London/ Surrey border.

List of rough responsibilities:

Ensure all marketing materials, online, offline, merchandise, press, print and any other areas not listed here, are of a high quality, not breaking copyright law, and are in line with the charity’s targets and strategies.

Ensure all teams in the charity have necessary provisions to progress the charity’s needs further. This includes but is not limited to; making sure staff are trained in software, best practice, new policies and processes.

You will play a key role in furthering the charity’s goals, this will involve from time to time, speaking at events, organising events and conferences, liaising with a wide range of stakeholders, and supporting however and wherever possible, fundraising bids, events and projects.

A key responsibility will be leading on digital fundraising strategy, considering and maximising the profitability of platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin, our website, Justgiving, or payment platforms such as Stripe.

The successful candidate will ultimately be responsible for the management of all digital channels, including Social Media, Fundraising pages, Paid Social, Paid Search, Display & SEO, & website development/management - making sure the user is considered at the heart of each of these processes.

This role can be 3-5dpw and the client is open to shorter hours over 5 days, or any flex needed for school picks up etc, so this would suite someone quite well who has child commitments or just like the sound of a more flexible life balance.

The role will manage one person, with the charity only having 6 people in total, so the successful candidate will need to be quite hands on, and able to manage the whole spectrum of marketing and communications, which includes digital and PR.

The Sophie Lancaster Foundation was founded in 2009 after Sophie Lancaster and her boyfriend were attacked because of their alternative appearance. Sophie later died from her injuries. The Foundation was created by Sophie’s mother Sylvia to address prejudice against alternative subcultures and to promote understanding and tolerance through education, advocacy and policy work.

Although a small organisation, we have big impact and reach. We advocate for the alternative community through policy and campaigning work and provide support following hate crime. And we also run workshops aimed at reducing discrimination and challenging stereotypes. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Fundraiser to help secure the charity’s financial stability and support its growth.

The role involves creating a fundraising function from the bottom up and then developing and implementing a fundraising strategy. Diverse income streams to be targeted include corporate partnerships, individual donors, grants and foundations, events and digital campaigns. You’ll work closely with the team, CEO and Trustees to ensure fundraising activities align with our clear objectives.

Responsible for creating and delivering a fundraising plan that meets income targets, you’ll identify funding opportunities that align with our mission. This includes researching grants, preparing applications, managing funder relationships and reporting. Building donor engagement through regular giving, legacy programmes and other initiatives will also be part of the role.

Maintaining accurate, GDPR-compliant records of fundraising activities and donor data is essential. You’ll also prepare reports for internal use and external stakeholders.

We’re looking for someone with proven fundraising experience in the nonprofit sector who has a track record of securing income from grants, donors, events or corporate partnerships. Strong written communication skills and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines are important. About Dravet Syndrome UK

Dravet Syndrome UK (DSUK) is a small independent UK charity dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by Dravet Syndrome. Dravet Syndrome is a rare neurological condition that affects around one in every 15,000 people in the UK. As well as experiencing severe, difficult-to-control seizures, children and adults with Dravet Syndrome have varying degrees of intellectual disability and a spectrum of associated conditions (known as ‘comorbidities’), which may include autism, ADHD, behaviours that challenge and difficulties with speech, mobility, eating and sleep.

The charity was founded in October 2008 by a small group of 30 families. Today, DSUK is a registered charity helping over 550 families with support, education, and research programmes, underpinned by a world-class Medical Advisory Board.

What you will bring

Essential

· Demonstrable experience in planning and delivering engaging and targeted social media content to build community, raise awareness and drive engagement.

· Hands-on experience managing websites (using WordPress), delivering e-marketing campaigns (e.g. Mailchimp or similar), and applying SEO principles and other techniques to optimise digital communications and online visibility.

· Demonstrable experience in media relations, including writing press releases, working with case studies and successfully pitching and responding to a range of media (online, press, radio, broadcast)

· Demonstrable experience of working in charity, patient advocacy or healthcare sectors

· Ability to deal with people at all levels with empathy, tact and credibility

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to distil large amounts of information and present it in engaging and innovative ways for a variety of audiences

This is an important role in a small communications team where you will help raise our international organisation’ s global profile across Asia, Africa, and Latin America. 

This fully remote contracting role is perfect for someone with some communications experience and a keen interest in supporting countries across the world to build better public infrastructure through open governance principles (accountability, transparency, participation, multi stakeholder working).

As the only Spanish speaking member of the communications team, you will lead on social media and news stories across Latin America and therefore fluent Spanish and English (both written and spoken) are essential, in addition knowledge of the Latin America region would be useful.

This is a fully remote consultancy role. You will not be paid on an hourly/daily basis but instead paid a fixed amount (as set out above) each month for completing agreed deliverables with your line manager. As a rough guide, we expect this will take around 18-20 hours a week. We are open to you working the hours in a way that works for your life-work balance and delivers our business needs, subject to being available for key meetings/deliverables during the week and in agreement with your line manager. Whilst this role is initially for 6 months, there is potential for this to extend or develop into a longer-term role.

• researching and drafting news articles in English;
• creating ideas for, and drafting of, social media in both English and Spanish;
• creating digital media in both English and Spanish for social media accounts and website,

Essential experience and attributes:

• Both Spanish and English fluency in speaking and writing (this will be tested at interview)

This Project Coordinator role is a key part of our Charity Services team, providing administrative and coordination support across several of our training and mentoring programmes.

About the role 

This new role of Fundraising Manager at Caring in Bristol is vital to the development of unrestricted income.  As a charity we rely on the generosity of the communities of Bristol, from individuals to businesses, community organisations to educational facilities.  The postholder will create and deliver innovative fundraising campaigns and supporter communications that engage and inspire supporters, maximise donor retention, and increase lifetime value. 

The role will be responsible for the growth of income from Individual Donors and Major Donors, and oversee Community and Corporate income.  Working with the Head of Fundraising you will also scope out and help to implement potential new income generation opportunities.

Individual Giving  

You will help shape and take ownership of implementing our individual giving strategy in line with organisational fundraising goals, creating and delivering individual giving appeals, designing and optimising donor journeys, and ensuring all supporter communications are engaging and effective. By leveraging an analytical approach to data segmentation, you will deliver highly targeted and relevant donor experiences. 

The role will lead on our use of our CRM system (Donorfy) ensuring supporter’s data is collected effectively and used in compliance with data protection legislation. You will champion the use of Donorfy, making sure it is being used to its full potential. 

With this data you will manage segmentation, using a targeted approach to ensure we optimise the return on investment of our appeals and fundraising activities. 

Additionally, you will manage our Gift Aid process to ensure both compliance and maximised income and oversee meaningful engagement with individual givers - ensuring all supporters are acknowledged in a timely, personalised manner and provided with tailored marketing materials at key intervals. 

Major Donors  

A key aspect of the role is designing and executing effective cultivation and stewardship plans for both current and prospective major donors, ensuring relationships are nurtured over time. You will also work closely with the Senior Leadership Team and Board members, mobilising their involvement to foster and strengthen connections with our most significant supporters. 

You will develop and deliver tailored fundraising campaigns for major donors, manage and update the major donor database, and conduct thorough research to identify new prospects, preparing insightful briefing notes and supporting materials. 

Line Management and Reporting  

You will line-manage, support and develop the Corporate & Community Coordinator and Fundraising Assistant, providing effective leadership in the development of our proposition to organisations and supporters. 

You will support the development and effective implementation of fundraising plans, helping the Head of Fundraising to ensure that all strategies align with our organisational goals. 

You will be tasked with supporting the reporting from the department around particular income streams, these reports will be both financial and non-financial, detailing the work of the department and progress against targets.

You’ll have excellent communications skills, be an adept writer, a warm and engaging individual with solid fundraising experience and knowledge of Individual Giving and Major Donor Fundraising.  You will also have a keen eye for detail.
