The Dementia Trust was formally created as a charity in 1988 in Scotland with the purpose of enhancing the quality of life for individuals living with dementia and their carers by funding innovative, impactful projects, and fostering a community of knowledge sharing and support.
We are now looking to award a fixed term service agreement to provide interim content creation and digital marketing support from 1 March 2026. The appointed contractor will lead delivery of all content creation and digital marketing activity during this period, ensuring consistency, quality and responsiveness.
Working closely with the Interim Lead Officer (also a part-time contractor role), the contractor will manage a fortnightly content catch-up to coordinate priorities and discuss performance, direction and opportunities. This relationship will support a dynamic balance between proactive planning, such as event timelines, grant cycles and campaigns, and reactive activity driven by media interest, sector conversations or project updates.

The Social Media Engagement and Digital Campaigns Manager will take a lead role in developing, supporting and delivering Freedom from Torture’s campaigning and engagement across digital channels and audiences. Our wider campaigns activities form a key part of our strategy to influence change and build the movement for compassionate and fair treatment of torture survivors, refugees and asylum seekers in the UK and to uphold the torture ban.
Working closely with the Head of Digital & Campaigns and experienced freelance campaign strategists , you will be responsible for developing, implementing and leading digital engagement strategies to influence audiences and deliver real change. You will work closely with colleagues from across the organisation to deliver impactful social media and digital engagement to support Freedom from Torture’s influencing, movement building and fundraising ambitions.

Summary of the role:
The Head of Income Generation & Marketing is a key member of Muslim Aid’s Leadership Team, responsible for executing the organisation’s fundraising and marketing strategy and overseeing all marketing and communications activities across the organisation. The post holder will lead the delivery of income generation plans, providing strategic direction and hands-on operational support to their direct reports to maximise income across all sub-department income streams. They will be accountable for growing and sustaining revenue from a diverse portfolio of supporters across the UK, ensuring income targets are met or exceeded.
The role includes mentoring and leading Management, supporting them to implement effective fundraising activity, achieve ambitious income and renewal targets year on year, and deliver high-quality stewardship experiences for supporters.
About the Role:
- Design and deliver MA’s cross organisational fundraising and marketing strategy with a focus on sustainable and reliable unrestricted income generation. This will include key activities, areas of required investment, KPIs and milestones as well as the projected growth of fundraising income
- Increase and diversify existing and new revenue streams specifically digital, CSR and private philanthropy.
- Drive delivery against income targets by setting clear, ambitious, and achievable operational targets for each income stream, ensuring teams are supported to meet objectives aligned with Muslim Aid’s vision, mission, and strategic goals.
- Provide effective marketing leadership for the organisation in collaboration with key stakeholders and drive forward transformational integrated marketing activities and campaigns.
- Provide inspiring and motivating values-driven leadership to the team that enables them to deliver their goals and achieve their potential.
- Build on the areas of High Net Worth and CSR in regards to income generated from corporate, major donor and trusts so that these areas become part of our sustainable fundraising foundation.

Our client is looking for an experienced and politically astute Head of Public Affairs, Media and Digital Communications to help shape their work, influence decision‑makers and strengthen the voice of working people across Wales.
Do you have experience in working in or with trade unions, political institutions, political parties or public affairs organisations, with a strong understanding of how political decisions are made?
