The UK Cyber Security Council works to bring together stakeholders to build and drive engagement in the cyber security profession, through developing standards and ethical practice, demystifying career routes into the profession and promoting the profession.
In collaboration with multiple UK Government departments and the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), our approach is to co-ordinate existing programmes and shape new initiatives, in support of the ambition to make the UK the safest place to live and work online.

4. Main Duties and Responsibilities
· To lead the delivery of the organisations marketing and communications (marcomms) strategy plan.
· To lead the development of strategic marketing and communication plans across all programmes, products and services.
· To ensure that marketing and communications across the organisation reflect and align with the UK Cyber Security Councils brand, vision, mission and values.
· To oversee and deal with brand governance issues and to drive, manage and implement marketing solutions and promotions that support agreed brand awareness targets.
· To manage our digital and social media channels and to ensure that all programmes and services are promoted effectively through these channels.
· To write high quality content, briefs, press releases and social media posts as part of our marcomms requirements.
· Working with the leadership team to develop a plan and process for internal communications across the Council.
· To lead on collaboration with licenced bodies and partners on joint marcomms and promotions
· To maintain an awareness of the Council’s strategy and wider cyber security landscape and propose content that will speak to key audiences.
· To update the website content on a regular basis as the window to the organisation.
· To work with internal and external colleagues to agree marketing and communications strategies for each programme and support the delivery of e-marketing and social media campaigns.
· To lead on the delivery of consistent, branded marketing collateral – print and digital in support of identified brand awareness targets.

· To develop and evaluate customer research, market conditions and competitor data to ensure that annual marcomms plans remain refreshed and up to date.

· To prepare progress reports as required for the Chief Executive and/or Board of Trustees.

We are looking for a creative, data-driven and results orientated Digital Fundraising Officer to help us grow our income and supporter base through engaging and innovative digital campaigns. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a passionate fundraising team, playing a vital role in delivering digital-first fundraising activity and supporter engagement across multiple digital channels. The successful candidate will work closely with fundraising, communications and digital teams. They will also work closely with the Fundraising Digital Marketing Lead to support with planning, implementing, optimising and reporting on World Horse Welfare’s digital fundraising and marketing campaigns.
The ideal candidate will have experience delivering successful digital campaigns within a fundraising or non-profit context, with strong skills in delivering and optimising paid social campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta and TikTok. They should be proficient in using tools like Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Looker Studio and SEO platforms. The candidate must be highly organised, proactive, data-driven, a good collaborator, with the ability to manage multiple projects within a fast-paced working environment. The ideal candidate will also enjoy the creative side of digital fundraising, with a passion for creating compelling content for the various digital campaigns.
This position is based remotely, although you will be required to attend the charity’s head office located in Norfolk a minimum of 6 times per year and this will be at your own expense for travel and accommodation. About the role

Role Overview

This role contributes to the delivery of the key objectives of the Marketing and Communications team:
- To increase awareness of Global Fund for Children’s work (the number of people who ‘see’ and ‘think’ about our work).
- To increase the number of opted-in email subscribers.
- To convert supporters from people who ‘do’ (follow us on social media, sign up to the mailing list) to people who ‘care’ (fundraise, donate, take an action, share and create user-generated content).
You will be responsible for creating high quality, engaging and original content for various channels, including reels, carousels and posts for Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn. You will be keen to develop and establish new communities on other channels as the social media landscape changes. Translating the work of our grassroots partners and GFC staff into powerful social media narratives, you will produce content that is aligned with our mission and ensure that we are maximising the potential of our digital channels to grow our supporter base and build a growing global movement.
You will collaborate with graphic designers, videographers, various digital agencies and colleagues around the world on a daily basis in undertaking your role coordinating campaigns and our daily social media schedule.
You should have a passion for staying up to date with industry trends and innovations, a track record of creating content aligned with cultural moments and a knowledge of how popular culture can drive social change. You will be skilled in producing viral content and driving actions and donations through social media.
To that end, you will also play a role in building relationships with our growing network of Global Ambassadors who use their networks and influence to raise the profile of our work and inspire their communities to take action. You will also provide support in managing relationships with our Global Ambassadors and other key influencers to maximise content opportunities and community building.
You will be focused on results and data. You will understand our key audiences and community building objectives and play a key role in growing the brand and profile of GFC and GFC leaders. You will be focused on analysing the performance and results of your work in order to inform future priorities. You will work with the team to generate and report back against our monthly KPIs.

Position Responsibilities
Social Media Management and Digital Content Creation
- Support the execution of an integrated strategy for our social media channels including leading on content planning and creation, posting and analysis.
- Staying on top of trends and learning from analytics to create compelling and engaging content that meets agreed KPIs.
- Develop and produce high-quality multimedia content for various platforms, including social media, websites and email campaigns.

Email Marketing
- Act as social media content lead for major campaigns and fundraising activities
- Recommend and execute social media strategies to achieve fundraising and campaign objectives and KPIs.
- Support the delivery of the Marketing and Communications team email marketing programme to meet agreed open and click-through rate KPIs.
- Support the team to build, design and send acquisition and retention emails using the email distribution system (Pardot).
- Support the review and analysis of email marketing results, report and evaluate overall and specific campaign success.
Global Ambassador and Influencer outreach and support
- Lead on delivering the Global Ambassador engagement strategy and influencer engagement activities.
- Support the cultivation of existing and new influencers and Global Ambassadors. Work across teams to coordinate asks/outreach and ensure relationship managers are briefed and supported to deliver cultivation plans.
- Work with colleagues across the organisation to identify new potential celebrity supporters and influencers, develop one-pagers and coordinate sign-off process and develop recruitment plans to bring them on board.
Project management
- Lead and co-lead specific digital campaigns and projects throughout the year.
- Manage and catalogue digital assets (photos, case studies and videos) and upload them to digital asset management system.
- Along with your colleagues, make sure that ‘Safer Communication’ and safeguarding are at the heart of all our asset collection and creation. Undertake your work in line with the safeguarding policy and best practice for marketing and communications work.

Terms and Conditions
Salary: This role is open to candidates from any location. If the candidate is based in the UK, the salary will be c. £50,000
Terms: Full-time contract, home-based with attendance from time to time at the UK office in central London when necessary or requested to deliver work plans.

Job Summary

You’ll work with the Senior Direct Marketing Manager to lead on the delivery and development of direct marketing campaigns to engage a range of supporters, from those who have just started giving, to others who have a lifelong relationship with Shelter and the cause, stewarding them across their supporter journey with Shelter.
You’ll have the opportunity to work in a matrix way, across multiple products, and on projects that push forward not only the team strategy, but the organisation’s strategy.
You will give supporters control of how they give, when we contact them and the content that will mean most to them. Helping build multi-channel, integrated and inspiring campaigns which build strong supporter relationships and long-term loyalty to Shelter. And, along the way, you’ll get to work with new products and propositions to retain supporters in innovative ways and build strong relationships with colleagues, agencies and suppliers alike.
About you
Passionate about outstanding supporter experiences and maximising income opportunities, you have a good understanding of direct marketing and digital channels such as direct mail, SMS, telemarketing and email. You’re also used to optimising and reviewing campaigns and aren’t afraid to share both failures and successes. Managing and influencing stakeholders to deliver results comes naturally to you too. What’s more, you excel in analysis and intelligent use of data, are great at utilising insight, including the motivations, interests and behaviours of supporters to guide decisions. You’ll have a keen interest in, or willingness to learn about, product management and development.
You’re happy to challenge the status quo and introduce new ideas, methods and processes too, like to horizon scan and keep ahead of emerging trends and are comfortable working in matrix teams.

About the team
Our Individual Giving team sits within our successful, growing Income Generation directorate and consists of three programmes - Supporter Acquisition, Direct Dialogue and Supporter Retention and Development. Together, we deliver a diverse programme of work with ambitious income targets that support our organisational strategy, across cash, regular giving and lottery products. We’ve grown quite a bit over the past few years and benefitted from both investment and opportunity for innovation.

Foothold Communications Officer
Salary: £18k (£30k per annum pro rata)

Hearing the challenges that the individuals we support are facing keeps us focused. As Communications Officer, you’ll play a key role in communicating the support our charity offers the engineering community, while also engaging our supporters by bringing our community’s stories to life.
We’re redefining relationships with long-standing communications partners, building new relationships, and building our presence across new platforms and communities.
As Communications Officer, you'll be pivotal in making sure our voice is heard through regular communications, and delivering our impact report and annual report.
We find creative ways of working as a team and look to showcase the individual talents and personalities that people bring to their role. At Foothold, you’ll have the opportunity to showcase and develop your skills across digital design, video and copy.
We encourage our team to be all-rounders, and you’ll be working closely and collaboratively with our Communications and Digital Events Officer, Digital Marketing Officer and fundraising colleagues to produce regular, engaging content.

Key responsibilities
- Brand Development & Identity: Lead creative development to refresh our brand so that it communicates impact, celebrates young people, and demonstrates our vision and values
- Visual Storytelling & Content Design: Translate complex ideas and data into accessible and visually engaging formats by creating assets for campaigns, content series, publications and digital platforms— including social media graphics, short-form videos and animations, marketing materials, reports, infographics, toolkits, and event assets
- Innovation & Accessibility: Stay informed on design trends and youth visual culture to bring fresh ideas, a user-centred mindset, and an inclusive approach that keeps our visual storytelling current and compelling, whilst ensuring accessibility and cultural relevance to young people across the world
