  • Maintain and enhance website content performance, build high-converting landing pages, and implement SEO, and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategies.
  • Write, build, and evaluate ongoing email campaigns and automated supporter journeys to drive engagement and action.
  • Oversee GTM and GA4 tracking, communicate performance insights across teams, and maintain strict GDPR and cookie compliance.
  • Lead and innovate by line managing the Digital Marketing Officer, testing new digital channels, and supporting broader MarComms team projects.

Competencies

  • Strong understanding of paid social, including audience selection, creative approach, and account structures.
  • Strong understanding of SEO and GEO best practices, including ability to write sharp, search-optimised website copy while adhering to brand guidelines.
  • Strong understanding of email marketing principles, including ability to write strong, high-converting email copy.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to communicate clearly and effectively to people of all knowledge levels.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Passion for the cause and delivering CALM’s mission.

Experience

  • 4+ years’ experience in digital marketing roles that cover a broad range of disciplines, including paid social, PPC, and email.
  • A track record of driving strong results across paid social, web content, and email.
  • Strong knowledge of email service platforms (e.g. Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Mailchimp, etc.).
  • Experience using and managing website CMSs.
  • Line management experience (desirable).

About us
We’re Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), and we’re united against suicide.

We’re a suicide prevention charity, on a mission to help people end their misery, not their lives. We run stigma-smashing campaigns, offer loads of digital tools and resources, and run a life-saving helpline - all designed to help people find hope and a way forward. We are - united against suicide.

Don't meet every requirement? We’re still interested.
Research shows that people from marginalised groups – including women, LGBTQ+ people, people from global majority backgrounds, disabled people, and those from lower socioeconomic backgrounds – are less likely to apply for a role unless they meet the full criteria. At CALM, we know that skills and potential come in many forms, and that diverse perspectives and lived experience of mental health or suicide can be just as valuable as formal qualifications.

If you're passionate about our mission but your experience doesn't tick every box, we'd still love to hear from you. You could be exactly who we're looking for.

Safeguarding

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and adults at risk, both offline and online. We recognise that harm can occur in physical, digital, and virtual environments, and we take our safeguarding responsibilities seriously across all areas of our work.
