Age UK's Digital & Technology division is recruiting for a Delivery Manager on a 12 month fixed-term contract basis.
We're looking for a skilled and experienced Delivery Manager to join our Digital, Data & Technology team at Age UK. You'll be leading the delivery of a variety of projects and changes, working with different teams across the organisation to make sure everything gets done on time, on budget, and meets the needs of our users.
This role is perfect if you're confident in managing projects and products, have strong leadership skills, and are comfortable working in agile and lean environments. You'll need to be great at communicating with people at all levels, including senior leaders, and be able to handle complex challenges while keeping things moving smoothly.

The opportunity
We are seeking a commercially minded, results-driven professional to support the delivery of CILIP’s membership growth strategy. This pivotal role is responsible for generating demand through targeted marketing campaigns and converting interest into membership through business development and relationship management.
Working closely with the Director of Business Development, you will play a key role in achieving CILIP’s strategic goal of increasing both individual and organisational membership, while also maximising member lifetime value. You will take a cross-functional approach to attract new audiences, re-engage lapsed members, and foster long-term loyalty.
About the role
This role supports the delivery of CILIP’s membership growth strategy, focusing on generating demand, converting leads into new members, and enhancing member retention and value. Working closely with the Director of Business Development and cross-functional teams, you’ll take an integrated, insight-led approach to increasing individual and organisational membership, aligned with CILIP’s strategic priorities.

About you
The ideal candidate will have experience delivering digital marketing campaigns that drive lead generation and conversion, ideally within a membership or service-based environment. RESPONSIBILITIES:
General
- Research and submit compelling proposals and applications for high-value grants and donations (5+ figures) to secure income and support long-term sustainability.
- Prospect research of new funders and partners capable of supporting Back Up’s work.
- Provide timely, accurate reports and updates to funders showing the impact of funded work.
- Delivering an effective stewardship programme to engage and thank funders, working closely with the partnerships team to inspire our donors
- Maximise opportunities through Back Up’s networks, including the fundraising team, services staff, SMT, development board, board of trustees and volunteer networks.

We are looking to recruit a Digital Learning and Engagement Assistant to join our team based at our Midlands site. You will join us on a full-time, fixed-term contract until 31 December 2028. In return, you will receive a salary of £24,229.64 per annum.
The Royal Air Force Museum is a national museum, a Government non-departmental public body (NDPB) and a registered charity, with two sister sites at London and Midlands. Our purpose is to share the RAF story, past, present and future – using the stories of its people and our collections in order to engage, inform and inspire. Our Vision is to inspire everyone with the RAF story – the people who shape it and its place in our lives.
We have two public sites (London and Midlands) and a stored collection (Stafford). Our trading company and active fundraising supplement Grant in Aid which comes through the Ministry of Defence.
Travel between the Museum’s sites will be necessary from time to time as well as attending off site events, trade shows and training courses, which may require overnight stays.
Purpose of the Digital Learning and Engagement Assistant role:
As our Digital Learning and Engagement Assistant, you will inspire learners through sharing the stories of the RAF, its people and our collections. You will deliver across the whole programme of Access and Learning activities onsite, offsite and online; imaginatively using the RAF story to inspire engagement, debate and reflection.
Key responsibilities of our Digital Learning and Engagement Assistant include:
- Prepare and pack away session resources
- Support the delivery of a high standard of visitor experience
- Be fully active in the delivery of all elements of Access and Learning activities on site, offsite and online. This will include public demonstrations and presentations, class facilitation and tours
- Lead on developing content for the learning team’s social media channels, working with the Access and Learning London team to schedule and produce posts to market the educational offer

The digital team is growing and embarking on exciting new projects to transform our digital operations. The Degrees Initiative is a UK-based NGO that builds the capacity of developing countries to evaluate solar radiation modification (SRM), a controversial proposal for reducing some impacts of climate change by reflecting sunlight away from the Earth. Degrees is neutral on whether SRM should ever be used, but we believe that developing countries should be empowered to conduct their own research and to play a central role in SRM discussions.

Social media

Content creation
- Edit short videos of our researchers for social media and the website
- Design graphics for social media, reports, presentations and events, using tools such as Canva or InDesign

Website
- Act as primary website administrator, keeping the website up to date by editing and adding new pages as required
- Maintain content consistency across the website, especially as we redevelop our site and move to a new platform (WordPress, with Gutenberg editor)
- Assist with website content migration using a good understanding of website database management systems (e.g. Jet Engine, ACF)

Team support

What you will do:
The role encompasses all aspects of digital marketing activity, including both B2B and B2C. You’ll also be supporting commercial activities for Waddesdon Manor, the trading company RWL which includes Catering for the Manor operation, visitors, retail, public events, private events, The Bow and The Five Arrows, and any special projects for the Rothschild Foundation e.g. future commercial property developments.
