As Digital Engagement Officer, you will work closely with the Communications Manager, and the wider team, to support the development and delivery of an effective local digital engagement plan, building meaningful engagement journeys and fostering long term relationships with the diabetes community. Through agreed targeted plans, you will help to increase our reach, profile, reputation and influence, using online platforms to engage with people affected by diabetes and the wider public. You will promote the work of Diabetes UK, raise awareness of diabetes among the public and providers of healthcare service/system, support people living with diabetes and influence improvements in services for people with diabetes.

Main Responsibilities
As Digital Engagement Officer you will use your considerable experience to contribute to the development and delivery of a strategic local digital engagement plan to support team and organisational objectives. You will develop and deliver proactive communications to raise the profile of Diabetes UK in a geographically defined area using various social media channels. You will work collaboratively with other Regional, National and wider organisation colleagues to share best practice and agree effective ways to digitally communicate and mobilise stakeholders from all communities, incorporating key messages across the UK. You will build and maintain digital engagement with existing and new stakeholders, to inform and strengthen Diabetes UK's social media and online activity and overall profile.
Ideal Candidate
As Digital Engagement Officer you will have a strong track record in digital engagement. You should be able to demonstrate understanding of the reputational, legal, GDPR, consent and safeguarding risks involved with media relations and social media and be able to mitigate against these. You should have experience of motivating and supporting others to deliver digital and social media communications and be familiar with online content management systems. Knowledge and experience of carrying out communications projects and plans across a variety of digital platforms, including websites and social media, is essential along with the ability to maintain, review and improve online information and resources.
This is role is based within the south west and south central region, allows for hybrid working and is connected to the regional office in Taunton, Somerset. The person must therefore be based within this region.

As the project continues to evolve, there will be an increased focus on Digital Champions placed in local health care settings across the borough. Digital Champions will operate at local community venues including Community Pharmacies, Phlebotomy clinics, and at community events, with a strong focus on NHS App promotion to Bexley residents. This is an opportunity to be at the centre of an exciting, innovative partnership project, working closely with the statutory and voluntary sector partners in taking the scheme into a new phase of development. Key Duties:
- To be the first point of contact for the existing network of Digital Champions in the borough, and support organisations to recruit, onboard and manage new Digital Champions.
- To directly manage a pool of Digital Champions under BVSC and lead on recruitment, onboarding, and training.
- To organise regular online and face-to-face meetings for Digital Champions.
- To develop and implement a communications plan that raises awareness of the Digital Champions Network in Bexley and of the challenges and opportunities digital inclusion presents.
- To explore new opportunities with partners and the sector more broadly in a way that aims to expand the digital champions project and create a more digitally inclusive culture for Bexley residents.
- To organise regular events, training and information sessions for Digital Champions based on needs.
- To collect data and write reports on the project for presentation to partnership committees and health and wellbeing boards.
- To represent Bexley Digital Champions at London-wide and national forums and conferences.

The Digital Fundraising Manager for WWF International will work to deliver effective digital strategies and techniques across selected markets, with the ultimate aim of maximising short and long term income (primarily unrestricted). Main Responsibilities:
Campaign Development and Management:
- Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns that align with the Charity's objectives and resonate with our target audience.

- Generate compelling stories, testimonials, and case studies.

Brand Management, Data Analysis, and Reporting:
- Develop and maintain brand guidelines, ensuring consistency in messaging, tone, and visual identity across all channels and materials.
- Monitor brand mentions and sentiment online.
- Conduct periodic brand audits.
- Champion the Charity's brand values and mission.
- Set up tracking mechanisms and analytics tools to monitor campaign performance.
- Analyse data to assess campaign effectiveness and audience engagement.

You will join us as we deliver the re-development of areas of the Gardens and our Natural History Gallery as part of a major organisation-wide capital project: Nature + Love, supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund. Our focus is on engaging a wide range of people in the climate and ecological crisis, as well as using nature to support wellbeing. You will assist and support the Nature + Love Project Director in managing the content and exhibition aspects of the project, providing the main point of contact and coordination between relevant internal and external teams including the Project and Cost Manager, Exhibition Design team and relevant contractors.
You will have significant experience of working client side, in a project management role, dealing with all aspects of delivering large exhibition and interpretation projects, including procurement and contract management, ideally within a museum or heritage organisation.
