As our Senior Social Media Content Creator, you’ll lead the creation of mobile-first video content that brings the British Heart Foundation’s (BHF) mission to life across our social platforms.
In this hands-on, production-focused role, you’ll ideate, film, and edit social-first videos and Reels using mobile devices—crafting content that resonates with our audiences on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, and Facebook. You’ll also design engaging visual assets, carousels, and graphics to support a wide range of campaigns.
You’ll spend a lot of time out in the field, capturing real moments and authentic voices. Whether it’s a patient sharing their story, a nurse on the front line, or a researcher making breakthroughs, you’ll turn these moments into compelling digital content that connects with people and builds community.
You’ll be at the heart of the action working closely with teams across the BHF and wider community to spotlight our work and mission. Your content will stop the scroll, start conversations, and inspire people to get involved.
What you’ll do:
- Produce standout video content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, and Facebook
- Film, edit, and deliver high-quality mobile-first videos with quick turnarounds
- Design visual assets using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Curate and repurpose content to tell fresh, engaging stories
- Ensure all content meets brand, tone, and inclusivity standards
- Travel across the UK for live events, conferences, and on-location shoots
About you:
You’re an experienced social media videographer with a strong portfolio of impactful, end-to-end content. You’re confident managing the full production process, from planning and storyboarding to filming, editing, and publishing. You know how to create content that cuts through the noise and connects with audiences.
You’re flexible, hands-on, and comfortable working independently in the field. Whether it’s interviewing patients and professionals on camera or editing footage into a polished final product, you bring creativity, empathy, and precision to every stage of production. You also thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with colleagues to ensure content meets the needs of our audiences.
You’ll bring:
- Proven experience creating social-first video content for a major brand or organisation
- Strong mobile videography, editing, and storytelling skills

Working arrangements
This is a fixed term contract until 30 Sep 2025 with potential to extend.
This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London office.

The use of our office spaces is driven in part by your role and the activities you need to do. The Role

St John Ambulance works at the heart of communities, supporting and enabling them to access and receive physical and mental health first aid. Job Summary
Taking a leading role as part of the Individual Giving management team, you play an important part in helping to achieve a step change in the growth of the net voluntary income of St John. The role will work closely across Individual Giving and the wider Fundraising Directorate to develop an evolving supporter acquisition strategy that will aim to recruit new supporters with a focus on digital. The role needs to focus on managing the implementation of the strategy including using insight and data to develop, implement, manage, monitor and evaluate campaigns across a range of channels, with a cutting edge and contemporary approach whilst staying current with the continuously changing legislation and support climate. Responsibilities include working with agencies and suppliers to project manage the full cycle of direct marketing campaigns.
About You
- Significant experience in a third sector direct marketing role
- Track record in managing effective digital campaigns on a national or regional basis
- Experience of using fundraising databases e.g. Raiser’s Edge, Microsoft Dynamics or similar
- Extensive experience of using a variety of fundraising channels including digital, email social media, direct mail, telemarketing and SMS
- Experience of leading a revenue generating team, including generation of six figure acquisition income
About the Role
- Oversee the supporter acquisition programme, taking responsibility for outstanding donor recruitment with the highest standard of quality and compliance and ensuring a diverse programme mix; ensuring they are in market on time, on budget and on brand.
- Develop an annual plan of acquisition activity; monitoring and analysing all campaign results, with ongoing test and learn mechanisms in place to drive continuous improvement and making recommendations for future activity to effectively maximise income and ROI
- Working collaboratively with key fundraising and data teams; lead the development and continuous improvement of new supporter product development
- Strong agency relationship management across a variety of partners and suppliers, from building relationships and negotiating to contract and routine performance reviews
- Lead on all KPI tracking, trend analysis and interrogation of results at all levels; including programme optimisation to ensure targets are met and contingency planning as required.
- Work closely with key colleagues across individual giving and in other directorates to ensure they are involved in relevant aspects of acquisition activity

The purpose of the role is to lead an outstanding IT service across the Trust and cultivate a high performing team that supports all staff, people we support and other stakeholders.
Reporting to the Resource Director, the role will be key in supporting the digital transformation agenda, providing IT and data expertise that will enable higher quality of life for adults with learning disabilities and maximise efficiencies within the services that we provide.
Main Responsibilities

Developing the IT strategy in alignment with the Trust wide strategic goals and evolving digital transformation priorities;

Oversee the Trust’s approach to Cyber security, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practice. Being the subject matter expert for the organisation.

Oversee the Trust’s data and privacy framework, ensuring compliance with GDPR and other data protection laws and training and educating staff as required on data protection measures;

Lead, mentor and develop the IT team of four, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement;

Prepare and manage the IT department budget, optimising resource allocation to achieve maximum value and efficiency and ensuring the team is equipped with the necessary skills and resources;

Oversee the development, implementation and maintenance of the Trust’s IT systems;

Providing IT expertise and advice for the software owners across the Charity including supporting the development of management reporting using Power BI;

A major change project has taken place over the last few years to transform our IT systems and support. We have moved to a cloud solution based on Microsoft 365. To support our internal IT roles, we are supported by a managed service provider who are providing ongoing day-to-day support for all our IT users.
This is an exciting role that will play a key part in the delivery of Cranstoun’s IT and digital strategy. You will support the delivery of major business systems projects and support the day-to-day work of the IT team.
You will work closely with the Head of IT and the other IT and Systems Officer in supporting the IT infrastructure and delivering projects to improve the provision of IT and knowledge and digital capabilities across the organisation.
If you are motivated to make a positive difference, have excellent communication skills, able to manage and prioritise your work alongside working as part of a team then this is a great opportunity for you.
Experience of managing a large estate of laptops and mobile devices, Office 365 system administration, dealing with third party suppliers, and working in a customer focussed IT support capacity are highly desirable.
