The role of the Senior Digital Marketing Executive is to ensure we provide a great supporter experience to any person, company or organisation who donates to the Epilepsy Society and to help the fundraising and marketing teams increase our number of supporters and fundraisers through digital acquisition.
As part of the Charity’s in-house marketing agency, you will support in responding to briefs from other departments and work closely with their teams to create and deliver marketing plans which deliver on revenue and strategic priorities. You will also work closely with multiple stakeholders, including our digital agency and the other teams within the Fundraising and Marketing Department and the wider organisation.
This role involves supporting various digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, email marketing, content creation, and data analytics. The postholder will be responsible for a range of tasks to support the efficient and effective running of a fundraising and marketing team dealing directly with donors at all levels to ensure they have the best donor experience. We need someone to help us to reach new people online, drive income and build an enhanced online supporter experience.
There is flexibility within the role; with a hybrid working approach of 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home. About the post
This exciting role would mean joining Refugee Action at a crucial point in the charity’s 40-year history, full of opportunity and potential. You will use your creative skills to support the creation of innovative digital content to engage and mobilise existing supporters and add to Refugee Action’s rapidly growing audience. We have a new opportunity for a specialist Dual Diagnosis Worker to join the team in Croydon on a 12 month fixed term contract. This is a new role to the team and you will deliver evidence-based interventions based on holistic assessments to support personalised recovery, integration, and promotion of independent living skills. You will work to the long term support needs of our residents and work towards facilitating improved outcomes.
Our service has 27 residents across 4 sites, which specialise in Forensic Mental Health aiming to enable and empower our residents to achieve their maximum levels of functional independence and enhance their sense of wellbeing.

OVERVIEW OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up realistic and flexible strengths-based support plans, working closely with colleagues and support teams to support and advise on interventions and approaches to meet resident/participant needs.
Include appropriate substance misuse interventions within support plans for those with co-occurring substance dependence and mental health need devising systematic plans for care; implementing this plan; coordinating the input of others and evaluating effectiveness. - Undertake joint holistic assessments and risk assessments with residents/participants to help determine service and support needs and identify where these can be met. - Undertake time-limited, SMART, and a range of evidence-based interventions such as 1-1’s, including harm minimisation, increasing awareness and motivation through stages of change and relapse prevention.

KEY CRITERIA
What we are looking for:
- Knowledge, understanding and experience of working with people of complex backgrounds. Ideally ex-offenders, those with enduring mental health, substance misuse and challenging behaviours
- Experience of assessing needs and strengths, and supporting people with dual diagnosis and complex needs
- Previous experience in a similar role, providing holistic assessments and support for people experiencing mental illness who use substances
- IT Proficiency, including Microsoft Office, and the ability to navigate and learn new case management systems and other types of organisational software
- Able to recognise ill health and additional support and need for interventions
- Knowledge of the interactions between mental health problems and drug and alcohol use and the issues facing people trying to stabilise their situation
- Applied knowledge of the principles of risk assessment and risk management, particularly in relation to harm minimisation
- Ability to engage those who may be hard to reach, able to influence and negotiate positive outcomes with others
What we would like, but not essential:
- Experience in delivering training in motivational interviewing, Cognitive Behavioural Theory informed approaches and other relevant recovery models

This role is an integral part of the day-to-day delivery of our Advice and Support Service, which has been re-shaped and is due to go live in the summer of 2024. The service is targeted at older people in or facing financial hardship, and provides information, advice and follow up support relating to a range of issues, including Welfare Benefits, Social Care and Housing.
As an Adviser (Health Social Care and Housing) you will be responsible for providing specialist support to older people, their families and carers through our advice service with their housing and social care enquiries as well as providing generalist level support on a range of issues through our duty service.
You should have in depth, specialist level knowledge of Health and Social Care or Housing (ideally both) as they relate to older people, experience of working within a high volume advice setting and advice supervision framework such as the AQS framework

We run , a youth produced Mental Health support website for young people, a mental health social media platform, as well as various youth participation groups. As a team we run internal and external contracts from multiple organisations to involve young people as experts by experience in all things related to Mental Health.
We are looking for a Youth Engagement Worker to join us to predominantly plan, run and facilitate mental health engagement sessions for Children and Young People (CYP) across Sussex. You will deliver mental health workshops (in-person and online) to college, secondary schools and primary schools across Brighton and Hove. You will also co-run e-wellbeing’s youth participation group (in-person and online), ensuring youth involvement actively informs, influences, and helps e-wellbeing measure youth engagement of all projects.

In your role as a Community Keyworker, you will be working with women involved in the Criminal Justice System; those on Probation in the Community and those women being released from Prison as part of their Post Sentence Supervision; providing some in-reach and ‘Through the Gate’ support. You will be working in a team of Community Keyworkers in your region. Each Keyworker will provide holistic one to one community support to women with a variety of needs.
About You:
To be successful as the Community Key Worker you will need the below experience and skills.
You will need to hold a UK driving licence with access to car that can be used for work purposes. A creative self-starter who will support the service and look for innovative solutions to support clients with complex needs. You are confident professional relationship builder with have good awareness of Safeguarding procedures. Strong Administration skills and understanding of compliant behaviours also, experience of supporting. With good knowledge of the criminal justice system and awareness of other support provisions within the Kent

About the role
We are looking for a dynamic, creative, innovative team player to join our Young People and Families Service in Scotland. This role will be based in Scotland, ideally close to Glasgow but will support service delivery across Scotland and the UK.
As a Young People and Families Worker you will work with colleagues, partners, healthcare professionals, schools, volunteers, families and – most importantly – young people to co-plan, deliver and evaluate a high quality, holistic support offer locally and nationally.
You will help young people living with arthritis to build their confidence, make friends and achieve their personal goals. This will be achieved by providing one-to-one support, creating peer networks and working with volunteers to co-deliver self-management activities on a variety of topics from sleep management to self-advocacy.
You’ll also co-design an exciting programme of social events, youth voice opportunities, digital content and residential events. You will act as the bridge between young people, their families and professionals – especially in healthcare settings where you will play a unique role working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to meet a range of needs. You will support young people during the pivotal transition from paediatric to adult services and life, making sure it is a time of empowerment and growth.
About you
If your knowledge, skills and experience include the following then we’d love to hear from you:
- Experience of working with the third sector, preferably within the fields of youth/community development work and/or health and social care – with a passion for improving the lives of young people.
- Understanding the importance of self-management and experience of delivering interventions to people living with long term conditions. Experience of taking a person-centred approach when providing support.
- Experience of using a community development/youth work approach to co-design and deliver a quality services /project that is inclusive, inspiring and makes a difference. Engaging colleagues, funders, supporters and partners to make it happen.

Sanctuary Breaks is a new charity based in Stroud District, Gloucestershire, set up to welcome refugees and people seeking asylum to rural areas in the county, and enable social and cultural exchange between refugees and the resident population, especially with a view to supporting mental health.
