About the role
The Regional Strategic Manager will act as the main point of coordination and leadership for our work across all 9 regions, ensuring local support is high quality, consistent, and strategically aligned with national goals.

You will work closely with our Local Support Organisations (LSOs), local authorities, Integrated Care Systems (ICSs), system partners and care associations to build strong regional networks, ensure insight flows between local and national levels, and embed DCH and Better Security, Better Care (BSBC) priorities.

Reporting to the Programme Director, you will be part of the national delivery team but focused on regional strategy, delivery oversight, and stakeholder engagement.

Key responsibilities
• Provide strategic oversight of all regional delivery activity, ensuring alignment with the national programme objectives.
• Act as the main point of contact for LSOs in the region, supporting them to meet their grant requirements and develop high-impact local delivery plans.
• Coordinate and facilitate regional & cross-regional networks, communities of practice, and events.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key regional stakeholders including local authorities, ICSs, ADASS branches, and care associations.
• Lead regional reporting and insight gathering, ensuring local intelligence informs national strategy and vice versa.
• Support consistency and quality of LSO delivery across the region, sharing best practice and facilitating joint working.
• Represent DCH and BSBC at national and regional meetings, boards, and strategic forums.
• Feed into the development of regional strategies, funding bids, and improvement plans.
• Work closely with the national team to ensure strong integration of regional activity within wider programme delivery. 

About you
Skills and experience
• Proven experience in a strategic or delivery leadership role within health, care, or the public sector.
• Strong understanding of adult social care and/or digital transformation within the care system.

The conflict in Gaza has left thousands of children in urgent need of medical care, trauma support, and long-term assistance. Children Not Numbers is a grassroots UK-based charity committed to the health, safety, education, and wellbeing of Gaza’s children. 

Children Not Numbers (CNN) was established in early 2024 to address the urgent need to support Palestinian children caught up amid an unprecedented conflict. Within 18 months, we have grown rapidly into a global network of c.200 committed contractors and volunteers:

• Emergency medical aid for sick and injured children in Gaza, delivered through collaboration between local staff and an international network of volunteer medics 

• Short-term medical evacuation for urgent and complex cases – more than 230 children have been safely evacuated to date

The Role 

The CSJ Foundation is looking for a Regional Portfolio Manager (North) to join its Portfolio team to help grow and professionalise it’s offering to charities and donors alike. The CSJF has big ambitions for its work with small charities over the next 3 years, central to this work is our Portfolio team. Based in the north of England (ideally north of Sheffield), the post-holder will be responsible for delivering first-rate charity due diligence on some of the best small charities in the UK. In this role you will use tech solutions to drive insights and understanding about CSJF’s work with charities, in addition, the post-holder will gather intel from frontline charities to create insights to inform the CSJ’s policy work. The post-holder will also seek to generate interesting media stories. The post holder will help to generate new income for the CSJF through multiple streams. The Role

The Role

BASIC is seeking a hands-on Financial Controller to lead our finance function during a period of sustained growth. The Financial Controller will work across Programme teams ensuring strong financial management and reporting to funding partners, maintain strong financial controls, ensure compliance with charity finance regulations, and provide accurate financial reporting to our Directors and Board of Trustees.

The Financial Controller will oversee the small finance team, including line management of a Finance Assistant and management of an external bookkeeper consultant. This team will be responsible for the majority of financial accounting, processing payroll, and accurate bookkeeping, for which the Financial Controller will be ultimately accountable.

The role includes managing restricted and unrestricted funds in accordance with funder requirements and programme needs, preparing statutory accounts for external audit, and overseeing payroll processing. This role reports directly to the Executive Director to prepare annual budgets and financial strategy, and works closely with the Board's Financial Development Committee to present its implementation.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with strong technical accounting skills, experience in charity finance, and a proven track record of effective financial management of a growing organisation. You should be comfortable both managing a small team and working hands-on when needed, building collaborative relationships across the organisation. You will need to be a multitasker with the ability to work at pace, and be willing to develop the finance function and best practices to enable the organisation to grow further.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Accounting and Reporting

• Oversee the maintenance of accurate financial records and bookkeeping in accordance with charity accounting standards (SORP)

• Prepare monthly management accounts including variance reporting and rolling forecasts

• Prepare annual statutory accounts and manage the annual independent audit process in its entirety

About the role

We are seeking a transformational and visionary Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”) to lead a national youth focused organisation, dedicated to promoting peer-led early intervention support for those in need. The successful candidate will be the first employed leader, propelling Youth4Youth from its robust foundations to the next stages of its development.
