TPP are recruiting two Directors, on behalf of our client, a charity dedicated to supporting those at immediate risk of suicide, a unique proven model offering a warm and nurturing safe space in a friendly non-medical environment with befriending volunteers.
The Role:
As the Director, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of the charity’s model for those in suicidal crisis ensuring its success and sustainability. In this demanding yet deeply rewarding position, you will be working closely and collaboratively with your fellow Co-Director, sharing 24/7 responsibilities, and report jointly to the Trustees.
Main responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of the charity’s services and model, being accountable to the Chair of Trustees
- Rebuild and sustain client's culture, ethos and values. - integral to the model
- Manage and supervise and be a hands-on member of a dedicated operational team, together responsible for service delivery 27/7
- Lead/oversee the training, selection, supervision and development of volunteers
- Collaborate with the Secretary to manage service support functions, including IT/systems, house facilities, and media/external relations

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director to oversee the efficient and effective functioning of our organisation's key operational areas, including Operations, People management, Finance, Security and Compliance. The Director will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth implementation of our humanitarian programs while upholding the highest standards of excellence, accountability, integrity, collaboration and lifelong learning.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the organisation's operational functions, aligning them with the overall mission and objectives.
- People Management: Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to support a diverse workforce including employees, consultants and Associate Trainers. Manage any organisational change management processes and ensure that RedR UK’s culture and values are embedded across the organisation.

- Resource Utilisation: Analyse resource requirements and utilisation across programmes, providing insights and recommendations; collaborate with programmes to develop strategies for optimising resource allocation and utilisation. Establish mechanisms for ongoing monitoring of resource allocation and utilisation across programmes.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and donor requirements; maintain and periodically update RedR UK organisations policies and associated processes, ensuring RedR UK is compliant with relevant legislation in its countries of operation. The Director of Finance Business Partnering (Operations) is a critical role within the Financial Strategy, Planning & Performance division that will lead, develop and deliver high quality finance business partnering and decision support to all the central services of the university, including providing financial planning, reporting and insight across revenue and capital funded activity.
You will support the senior Director of the Financial Strategy, Planning & Performance function in development and improvement projects. Examples include the development of a professional competencies framework to support career progression and performance at all levels, supported by learning and development opportunities, improving key processes, resource allocation and financial planning methodologies, and reporting on financial performance.
As part of the function’s senior management team, this role will lead a team of finance business partners who will provide outstanding partnering services to our central services including large functions such as Estates and Facilities, IT, Students & Education, Research Management and on other crucial ‘head office’ activities. Working closely with the corporate reporting team on the provision of management accounts, you will lead on financial performance support in-year and across our three-year financial planning framework. Inter Mediate (IM) is a unique and discreet London-based peacemaking organisation established in 2011 to support behind-the-scenes peace negotiations in some of the world’s most challenging conflicts. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join the senior management team of a small high-impact organisation working at the leading edge of international peacemaking.
Reporting to the Deputy CEO and working closely with the CEO and the Financial Director, the Operations Manager will lead Inter Mediate’s institutional, Human Resources and project-support systems to keep the organisation running smoothly and ensure we are equipped to deliver the best results.
A successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter with senior management experience in operations, preferably for a non-profit organisation. You will be familiar with the fast and sometimes unpredictable pace of an international operating environment, and confident in handling challenges as they arise. You will be comfortable working collaboratively within a small team and engaging credibly with a wide range of people from senior government officials to project interlocutors in the field.
Key Responsibilities
A) Governance and Institutional Compliance (with the Deputy CEO and senior management)

Required skills & experience

Excellent track record of working in artistic planning or artist management (min 7-10 years)

First-class knowledge of orchestral repertoire and artists, as well as the work of the Philharmonia

Demonstrable creative programming experience at an international level

First-rate budgeting and financial management skills

Demonstrable entrepreneurial mindset with a successful history of creating new projects

Current experience of development of UK and international markets for orchestras

Reporting to the Chief Executive, and forming a central part of our Senior Management Team, we are seeking to appoint an outstanding individual to take on the post of Director of Professional Standards. The successful candidate will lead a wider portfolio of responsibilities including accountability for overseeing first class education and training for psychiatrists, promoting recruitment and retention into the psychiatric workforce and leading on the College’s international workstreams.
The successful candidate must bring with them experience of leadership gained within a comparably complex membership organisation, with recognised expertise in delivering first class professional education and membership support. You must demonstrate the ability to provide strong and inspirational leadership to a large team of over 60 staff with the ability to instil a culture of high performance and exceptional service throughout. Essential to success is an ability to work effectively with a range of partners both internally and externally and an alignment with our values.
