Essential
Significant experience in a senior operational leadership role, ideally as a COO, Head of Operations or Director of Operations in a charity, social enterprise or purpose-driven organisation.
Demonstrable track record of building and improving operational infrastructure: systems, processes, policies and ways of working that make organisations more effective and resilient.
Proven people management experience, including line management of senior staff, performance development, recruitment and team culture-building.
Strong financial literacy, including experience of budget management, grant compliance, financial reporting and working with a board finance function.

The Trusts & Foundations Manager (maternity cover) role is part of the Business & Industry team (11 people), who have responsibility for all funding and industry relationships across EngineeringUK. The team works strategically with stakeholders across the engineering, technology and education sectors, to support our mission to increase the number and diversity of young people choosing engineering and technology careers. Opportunities for funding include our bursary programme, in-school programmes such as Climate Schools and Big Bang Programme, supporting our community of Code signatories, and developing new programmes.
Prospecting and pipeline management is a key element of this role and once funding is secured, the postholder will account manage the relationship, including regular reporting, delivered in collaboration with programme leads. Reporting to the Director of Income and Engagement, you will identify, assess and manage contract and funding opportunities. Working closely with Country Directors across Brooke East and West Africa, you will help stop the supply of donkeys to the continent and, in partnership with colleagues in Latin America and Pakistan, develop regional campaigns in new locations. Ultimately, you will play a key role in reducing demand for ejiao in both the UK and internationally.
Using your exceptional relationship-building and partnership skills, you will establish and lead strategic collaborations with NGOs, governments, animal welfare organisations and corporations, ensuring effective cross-organisational working. You will also represent Brooke at conferences, in the media and through written communications, working closely with Brooke’s Advocacy Teams to align activity with animal health systems and sustainable development goals.
You will bring demonstrable senior-level experience in global development, alongside a strong track record of leading high-profile campaigns. You will also have a sound understanding of UK parliamentary and legislative processes. Knowledge of Chinese or East Asian policymaking, along with an additional language from these regions, would be a distinct advantage.

Role Overview

As Fundraising & Events Manager, you will work closely with the Fundraising & Communications Director to build new income streams, develop compelling funding applications, and deliver high-impact fundraising events that bring HCPT's mission to life.

Location: Hybrid – NASP have an office space at London's Southbank Centre which can be used by staff at any time. Purpose of This Role:
This role sits within NASP’s Communications Team. You will play a key role in developing and delivering NASP’s communications strategy, which aims to spread the word about social prescribing among health and voluntary sector professionals and equip them with the training and resources they need.
You will lead on NASP’s digital communications – including through hands-on management of the NASP website and oversight of social media. You will also manage media, campaigns and events and ensure that the content NASP delivers is to a high standard.
This is an operational role within a small charity, where the postholder will be expected to balance leadership with direct delivery and work flexibly. The role reports to the Director of Communications and manages the Digital Communications Officer and the Communications Lead: Media and Events.

About The Noah Jordan Foundation
The Noah Jordan Foundation is a fast-growing UK children’s charity established in memory of Noah, who died in 2024 from POLG mitochondrial disease, a rare and devastating paediatric mitochondrial disorder which can cause severe neurological deterioration and liver failure in children, and for which there is currently no effective treatment or cure.
Following Noah’s death, his family made him a promise: that his legacy would help change the future for children and families affected by mitochondrial disease.
The Foundation was established to deliver that promise through three charitable objectives:
Medical Research
Funding pioneering medical research to improve clinical management, accelerate the development of effective treatments and ultimately help drive progress towards cures for rare paediatric mitochondrial diseases, including POLG-related mitochondrial disorders.
Raising Awareness
