We're looking for a kind, empathetic and resilient Support worker to join our Homelessness and complex needs Service in Kensington & Chelsea.
£30,784.00 per annum, working 40 hours per week.

There are 5 hostels in the cluster ranging from high, medium to low support which are all based in the borough of RBKC. The Heaney Cluster an intensively supported housing scheme for the most challenging customers in the borough.
Staff are expected to work 8 hours daily on a shift rota basis. This will include weekend working. Shifts are 7.30am to 3.30pm and 2.00pm to 10pm.
The fixed term contract is for 6 months.
What you'll do:
* If a need arises, deliver all aspects of support to enable a customer to develop independent living skills as appropriate to the individual needs of the customer.
* Support customers to maintain their tenancies.
* Support to budget and prevent rent arrears.
* Assess their practical and emotional needs to incorporate in their support plan.

About The Drive Partnership
The Drive Partnership, established by Respect, SafeLives, and Social Finance in 2015, is working to end domestic abuse and protect victim-survivors by disrupting, challenging, and changing the behaviour of those who are causing harm. The Drive Partnership does this through the development of innovative perpetrator responses and advocating for systems and policy change to develop sustainable, national systems that respond more effectively to all perpetrators to increase the safety and freedom of all adult and child victim-survivors.
Purpose
Following a four-year investment from the Home Office announced in July 2025, the Drive Project – the Drive Partnership’s flagship intervention for high-risk, high-harm and serial perpetrators of domestic abuse – will expand across all areas in England and Wales, with the vast majority of funding flowing directly to local perpetrator services and victim-survivor services by nature of the Drive Project’s model.
To support the safe implementation of the expansion of the Drive Project intervention, we are seeking a proactive, solution focused individual to work with Drive Partnership and SafeLives, and our delivery sites to ensure our Data Protection policies and practice are up to date, and being consistently adhered to.

About the role:
This role is based at Kendal Police Station, West Morland & Furness, Cumbria, and involves regular travel. Due to the location, a driving license and access to a vehicle is considered an essential requirement. About IKWRO
IKWRO –Women’s Rights Organisation (IKWRO) is an award-winning charity founded (as the Iranian and Kurdish Women’s Rights Organisation) in 2002. IKWRO is a registered charity which provides advice and support to Middle Eastern, North African and Afghan women and girls living in the UK, who have experienced, or are at risk of all forms of “honour” based abuse, including; forced marriage, child marriage and female genital mutilation (FGM), or domestic abuse.
We work with women and girls of all ages, including lesbian women, bisexual women and trans women. We offer services in Kurdish, Farsi, Arabic, Dari, Pashto, Turkish and English. IKWRO offers free advice, advocacy and counselling services and operates a refuge which provides safe accommodation and specialist support to single women at risk of “honour” based abuse, forced marriage and domestic abuse.
IKWRO also provides training for women and girls to help them understand their rights in the UK. In partnership with other organisations, we assist survivors of abuse with accessing English language classes and education, training and employment opportunities.

About the role
At SEA, all our work is grounded in evidence and shaped by the lived experiences of victim-survivors. As Research Officer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, survivor-centred research on economic abuse as part of a major new three-year project funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC).
Working closely with the Senior Research Officer, colleagues across SEA, academic partners and external stakeholders, you will support research exploring coerced debt as a form of economic abuse and the responses to it across systems and services. Your work will help strengthen understanding of economic abuse and inform policy, practice and systems change on coerced debt that improves responses for victim-survivors.

You will have the ability to sensitively work with victim-survivors to learn about their lived experiences of economic abuse , including coerced debt, as well as the ability to conduct research with professional stakeholders.
Using your research skills, you will be able to analyse data, and will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of economic abuse in the context of intimate partner abuse, including of how perpetrators can misuse systems to enact abuse. You will be able to demonstrate an ability to deliver research projects in a timely manner and to communicate findings clearly to a range of stakeholders.

Safe Haven Sussex CIC is a non-profit community interest company providing accommodation and support for vulnerable adults who have been homeless or vulnerably housed. About The Role

At St Mungo’s, we believe in creating opportunities for people with lived experience of homelessness, substance use, mental health challenges, involvement with the criminal justice system, and/or recovery services. Our Apprenticeship Scheme is designed to help you build a career while making a positive impact.
We have opportunities available for 18 month fixed term contracts as Client Support Apprentice Workers in our two of our services in Westminster.
What you’ll do as an Apprentice Worker
Working as a Client Support Apprentice Worker, you will complete practical work experience and academic learning to build the knowledge, skills and experience to work with clients in housing and homelessness sector.
As an Apprentice Worker you will:
Work alongside colleagues, students and volunteers working together to support and empower clients to recover from homelessness and rebuild their lives.
Gain practical experience and skills in caseload management while working in a person-centred way to support wellbeing and recovery.
Learn how to deliver day-to-day services while collaborating with colleagues and external partners.
Have opportunities to shadow experienced staff and receive on-the-job training, observing how we empower our clients to access the right support and move on.
Complete the practical element of your apprenticeships with meetings and event attendance as well as formal learning while completing a Level 3 Peer Worker qualification.
Complete on and off the job learning, shadowing and development opportunities.
Receive support and supervision from an Apprenticeship Advisor as well as a direct line manager, every step of the way.
Where you’ll work
We’re excited to offer 2 Client Support Apprentice Worker opportunities, joining the team in the London Borough of Westminster in the following services:
Westminster Atlas Team, which provides support to people experiencing street homelessness and multiple disadvantages across Westminster. The team maintains frequent contact with clients to support them into accommodation, improve their wellbeing, and sustain positive outcomes.
Westminster First Contact Team (FCT), which works on the frontline supporting people who are new to the streets. Through street outreach shifts across the borough, the team engages individuals, assesses their needs, and helps identify the most appropriate route away from homelessness.
This apprentice scheme is for people with lived experience.
Our Apprentice scheme is specifically designed for people with lived experience, and we can only offer places to the people the programme is designed for.
You may have personally experienced homelessness (spent time sleeping rough, or lived in a hostel, refuge or supported accommodation), you may have experienced domestic abuse, mental health struggles, substance misuse problems or had contact with the criminal justice system and have used recovery services as a result.
We’re looking for people with a genuine motivation to build a career supporting vulnerable adults, who can bring:
Learning and reflections gained through lived experience and recovery.
Ability to demonstrate how personal lived experience has shaped your approach to support and wellbeing.
Good communication and listening skills, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a difference.
Some experience through volunteering or working in a similar setting.
Basic admin and IT skills and a proactive attitude towards learning.

You will act as an essential link for SARA’s employees and sessional counsellors to access support from the Pathfinder Partnership for SARA clients by attending Pathfinder Partnership meetings, training, events and client consultations.

Sounds great, what will I be doing?
In this role you will take ownership of a busy caseload of 50–100 supported accommodation units, ensuring residents are safe, engaged, and set up to succeed. You'll lead on all aspects of tenancy management, from onboarding and exit meetings to embedding a Psychologically Informed Environment approach. All while maintaining accurate, GDPR‑compliant records and delivering strong financial performance. With a proactive focus on arrears management, income collection, and benefits guidance, you'll help residents navigate housing systems and sustain their tenancies. You'll also coordinate timely repairs, monitor property standards, and keep communication flowing between residents, support teams, and contractors. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys problem‑solving, and is passionate about creating stable, high‑quality housing experiences for vulnerable individuals.
What do I need to bring with me?
You'll need to be able to demonstrate the core skills this role requires as well as match our values and mission. You don't have to tick all the boxes right away; the important thing is that you're willing to learn. We also value lived experience of the areas we support, so if you feel comfortable, please do mention this on your application.
A successful candidate will bring solid experience in rent collection, arrears recovery, and confidently applying the pre‑action protocol, alongside a proven ability to manage complex welfare benefit claims and navigate DWP and Housing Benefit systems. They will have a background in supporting vulnerable individuals - including those facing mental health challenges, substance dependency, domestic abuse, or young people's support needs, and be skilled in working collaboratively with local authorities, support workers, and external agencies. With strong knowledge of tenancy management, housing legislation, and income‑related processes, they will also demonstrate excellent IT capability, accurate data handling, and confidence using housing management systems. Exceptional communication, numeracy, and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to build trust, work sensitively with service users, and maintain productive relationships with stakeholders. Highly organised and self‑motivated, they will manage their time effectively, take ownership of their responsibilities, and be able to travel across sites to deliver in‑person support where needed. You must be flexible to travel across London.
