The Project Operations Manager is a brand-new role, created to shape and drive the charity’s next phase of growth and impact. Main Purpose and Scope of the Job:

 You will lead on the development and preparation of compelling and high-quality responses to grant applications, bid writing, commissioning and tenders.  Support the Director of Income Generation and Communications and wider Executive Leadership Team with responses to complex tenders and funding applications. 

Complete all tender Pre-Qualification Questionnaires, Invitations to Tender and relevant administration in an accurate and timely manner.

Undertake the reporting and monitoring of all grants and commissioned services, in line with contracts and Service Level Agreements and working with the Data Analyst ensuring funding requirements, reporting and compliance are met.  Undertake Quality Assurance activities on all aspects of reporting and monitoring prior to submission.

Manage (and delegate where appropriate) and quality assure all subject access requests, complaints and data queries in line with Data Protection and GDPR legislation, working with, and supported by the Director of Income Generation and Communications and/or DPO on complex cases.

Prepare written materials including press-releases and annual reports which aid in conveying core activities and promote organisational activities in line with our values.

Working as part of a specialist team, you will play a vital role in helping survivors regain safety, stability and control over their lives. You will also take part on managing our Helpline Service, by managing new referrals from survivors and other partners, and responding to daily enquiries from partnership agencies, public and impacted individuals over the phone and email.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of domestic abuse; trauma and the barriers survivors can face when accessing support. You will be experienced in risk assessment, multi-agency partnership working and delivering survivor-focused support. Excellent communication, advocacy and relationship-building skills are essential, alongside the ability to work sensitively with women in crisis and manage a varied and demanding caseload. Experience within the VAWG sector is desirable, together with a commitment to equality, empowerment and inclusive practice.

Join For Baby’s Sake in creating safer, healthier futures for babies and families.

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Therapeutic Practitioner to deliver For Baby’s Sake across the North East of England. This is a home-based role with hybrid working, and applicants must be based in the region and able to travel to deliver a blend of online and face-to-face sessions. This is a meaningful opportunity to support families as they make lasting change during one of the most important stages of life.

For Baby’s Sake is an innovative, therapeutic, trauma-informed programme that works to break the cycle of domestic abuse, starting in pregnancy, to give babies the best possible start in life. We work individually with co-parents, keeping the baby at the centre, and using a therapeutic, recovery-focused framework to address the impact of domestic abuse with care, compassion, and respect. The programme supports parents to explore unresolved and often complex childhood trauma, change harmful patterns of behaviour, and create a home environment in which children can thrive. Our attachment-focused parenting approach helps babies and children feel safe, secure, and connected with parents who are emotionally available and attuned to their needs.

The programme begins during pregnancy, when motivation for change can be strongest. Both parents must want to co-parent their unborn baby, although they do not need to be in a relationship with one another. We can work with families until their baby reaches the age of two, reflecting the importance of this period in child development research.

The For Baby’s Sake Trust multi-disciplinary team is made up of trained therapeutic practitioners who build trusting, respectful relationships and create conditions for meaningful therapeutic change. This work supports co-parents to understand the impact of their own early experiences on their parenting and relationships, and to move towards safer, healthier family lives. To thrive in this role, you will have the skills to build therapeutic relationships, experience of safeguarding children and adults, knowledge of infant development, and a deep understanding of domestic abuse, attachment, and the effects of unresolved trauma.

Service Manager 

Drive is a high risk / high harm domestic abuse perpetration intervention. Its sole aim is to reduce the risk posed by those using high levels of harm towards family members and / or (ex) partners. This is achieved via disruption, diversion and direct behaviour change work, where safe to do so, within a multi-agency framework.

The Case Manager will strive to work one-to-one with perpetrators who have been identified as high risk to pro-actively secure engagement, influence attitudinal and behavioural change and connect with complementary services. To do this, the Case Manager will work with local agencies to design a co-ordinated, strategic individual intervention plan to address identified needs and risks and promote understanding of the impact of abusive behaviours. However, it may not always be safe or possible to meet with the perpetrator. Equally as vital to risk reduction efforts is analysis of presenting information to identify ways to disrupt their abusive behaviour, alongside close-knit multiagency working to implement actions.

Throughout all intervention the Drive Case Manager will work closely with the local IDVA service to review risk, develop safety plans and improve outcomes for all parties involved.

The Case Manager will be responsible for delivering outcomes, working typically for up to 12 months to achieve behaviour change with each Service User.

About you
You’ll have a deep understanding of the nature of domestic abuse and its effects on clients and children, as well as the reasons behind abusive behaviours towards intimate partners.

Your knowledge extends to the range of statutory and voluntary agencies that clients and their children may encounter, and you are aware of the impact of domestic abuse on children and parenting, including the additional needs of clients from BMER communities. 

You will have experience in working with clients on issues of domestic abuse, providing one-to-one and group support and advice, managing your own workload and administration, and assessing the risk and safety of your clients and those connected to your client.  You will have handled safeguarding disclosures and referrals, and you communicate clearly with a range of people both over the telephone and in person. 

You will be organised, able to use your initiative, and work effectively as part of a multi-service team. Your administrative skills are strong, and you are adept at using a computer to maintain effective systems. 

Flexible and willing to work evenings, you can travel independently. Additionally, you will understand trauma-informed practices, risk mitigation, and safeguarding. Experience liaising with social workers and other professionals, and in related areas such as substance misuse, child protection, or family support, is desirable. 

Fluency in an additional language and skills in group work are also advantageous. You stay updated with best practices and new initiatives.

The post holder will deliver domestic abuse training, work in partnership with health and other agency professionals and provide emotional and practical support, risk assessment and safety planning to standard and medium risk clients.

The Role:

IRIS is a specialist domestic violence and abuse (DVA) training, support and referral programme for general practices. The IRIS Advocate Educator provides in-house domestic abuse training and ongoing consultancy for general practice teams and is an advocate to whom patients can be referred for support. As an Advocate Educator, you will provide tailored practical and emotional support to clients referred by trained GP practices.

You will be part of a national network of IRIS Advocate Educators who deliver training to local GP practices to raise awareness of domestic abuse and improve early identification.

About the Role 

As Service Manager – Community Services, you will lead the operational delivery of community-based domestic abuse services, including IDVA, triage and outreach support for adults, children and young people. Working closely with the Area Operational Lead and as part of the Senior Leadership Team, you will provide strong, values-led leadership to frontline teams, drive service performance, and ensure delivery is safe, responsive, trauma-informed and survivor-led. You will also play a key role in strengthening partnerships, supporting service development and ensuring services remain compliant, effective and sustainable.

What you’ll need 

Essential: 

• Experience of managing or leading teams within domestic abuse, social care, housing, community safety or a related support environment.
• Strong knowledge of domestic abuse, trauma-informed practice, safeguarding for adults and children, and risk management in complex cases.
• Ability to provide effective supervision, case oversight and reflective support that promotes staff wellbeing, professional curiosity and high-quality practice.
• Experience of performance monitoring, report writing and using data, feedback and outcomes information to support service improvement.

The Move-On Accommodation Support Officer will provide practical and emotional support, advocacy, and housing management to survivors of domestic abuse who are residents living within 11 of BCWA’s move-on accommodation properties as part of the Safer Futures Project. 

The postholder will be required to travel regularly to the 11 dispersed move-on accommodation properties, primarily in Croydon, with a smaller number in Bromley, and must be able to travel independently across both boroughs.

The role focuses on supporting residents to sustain tenancies, develop independent living skills, and access appropriate services to enable recovery and a life free from domestic abuse.

Who we are: Bromley & Croydon Women’s Aid is a well-established, innovative and forward-thinking local domestic abuse service. We are seeking a self-motivated, flexible and experienced individual to join our dynamic team to help us deliver excellent services to vulnerable women who have experienced domestic abuse and be committed to working in a non-discriminatory manner.  

Location: All staff have access to hot-desking at our office as needed.Flexible working is welcomed at BCWA, with a mix of home and location-based working across our friendly and supportive team. We are all women with busy lives and families, and we understand that flexibility can be crucial in supporting women in the workplace.

Wellbeing: As a trauma-informed charity we take mental health and wellbeing seriously. We offer clinical supervision to our frontline team, regular staff wellbeing sessions, use of our Employee Assistance Programme and an additional wellbeing platform which offers a range of advice and support. We will consider a job share for this role.

Furnishing Futures is an innovative charity creating fully furnished, healing homes for survivors of domestic abuse who have been rehoused in empty social housing. We do this by partnering with the interiors industry, which donates high quality furnishings that might otherwise end up in landfill. 

We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented junior designer who is passionate about our mission to assist our Homes Design team in creating a wide range of trauma-informed homes for beneficiaries and their children. You will need to be organised, compassionate, committed to anti-discrimatory practice and able to work at a fast pace. This position is based in Leyton E10 and involves flexibility with some work outside usual office hours, as well as travelling to all London boroughs. Tasks will vary from practical and physical design to administration and data entry. You will have a can-do attitude where no problem is too big and no task is too small.

You'll be joining a small team of Homes Designers making a huge difference to the lives of survivors and their children.

We are looking for a Community Key Worker

Salary: £23,000 - £27,000

Location: Hertfordshire

Contract: Fixed Term until 31st March 2027

Hours p/w: 35 Hours per week

In your role as a Community Keyworker, you will be working with women involved in the Criminal Justice System; those on Probation in the Community and those women being released from Prison as part of their Post Sentence Supervision; providing some in-reach and ‘Through the Gate’ support. You will be working in a team of Community Keyworkers in your region. Each Keyworker will provide holistic one to one community support to women with a variety of needs.

About You:

To be successful as the Community Key Worker you will need the below experience and skills.

You will need to hold a UK driving licence with access to car that can be used for work purposes. A creative self-starter who will support the service and look for innovative solutions to support clients with complex needs. You are confident professional relationship builder with have good awareness of Safeguarding procedures. Strong Administration skills and understanding of compliant behaviours also, experience of supporting. With good knowledge of the criminal justice system and awareness of other support provisions within the Hampshire area.
