You'll support the Corporate New Business Manager with the account management of corporate partnerships and generating new income through securing new corporate partnerships.

You'll support the development and ongoing review of the prospect pipeline, researching companies and sectors with an affinity for our work, whilst managing a portfolio of small to medium sized partnerships (worth approximately £5-75k per annum). You'll produce high quality written proposals and pitch materials, as well as organising volunteering opportunities for corporate partners.

IKWRO –Women’s Rights Organisation (IKWRO) is an award-winning charity founded (as the Iranian and Kurdish Women’s Rights Organisation) in 2002. PR Officer

This role is offered on a hybrid contract giving you the opportunity to also work from home three days a week.

Purpose of Role

As a PR Officer, you will play an important role in planning and delivering creative national and regional PR strategies for Comic Relief’s partnerships and fundraising campaign while leading the efficient running of Comic Relief’s busy Press Office.

You will work across a broad and exciting range of projects and strategic campaigns throughout the year that combine the worlds of entertainment, sport, and charity. This will include Red Nose Day, Sport Relief and winter fundraising initiatives, bespoke events and activations, as well as working with some of Comic Relief’s high-profile partners and well-known brands. These wide ranging, creative and exciting campaigns will drive income, awareness, and brand consideration at a time when the charity gets set to celebrate its 40th anniversary in 2025.

Running Comic Relief’s busy Press Office alongside proactive PR campaigns is a responsibility shared by every member of the PR team. You will be required to take a leading role in the efficient running of the Press Office, which can include handling media enquiries as well as contributing and editing internal comms updates.

Help to develop new ideas, content, and stories to secure media coverage for national and regional digital platforms, print and broadcast media

The Upper Room (TUR) works with a wide range of financially and socially disadvantaged groups including homeless people, people with long-term mental health conditions, asylum-seekers, refugees and ex-offenders – helping them to improve their lives and become productive members of society. Central to our offering is our UR4Meals service, providing free, home-cooked food to people who cannot afford to provide for themselves. We are also very proud of our UR4Driving programme, which supports people recently out of prison with free driving lessons in exchange for community volunteering. Gaining a driving licence greatly enhances their future employability prospects and helps break the cycle of re-offending. The role

Is leading the charity through its next phases of development as it prepares itself for year on year increases in demand with a focus on delivering the charity’s future resilience plan (Project 12/25). The CEO is accountable for overall charity performance (financial, operational, governance, compliance), team (paid and volunteer) support and development. This is an exciting new role, contributing to the development and implementation of our new income generation strategy. Reporting to the Fundraising Manager, this role will work closely with colleagues across the organisation including those in PR, marketing, data, and finance to deliver engaging communications to our offline audience.

Reporting, location, and work hours

• Assist with due diligence processes within the wider SEO team, specifically focusing on internal data security practices, response handling accuracy, and adherence to relevant regulatory requirements such as those for Gift Aid or the BACS scheme for Direct Debits 
• Proactively identify processes for improvement across the Supporter Experience & Operations Team to deliver efficiencies and improve the effectiveness of internal procedures 

• Support campaign managers and other colleagues with any new or existing projects relating to fundraising operations, working closely with internal stakeholders, ensuring requirements are clear and fully documented

Family Rights Group is the leading child welfare charity, and is rolling out its highly successful Lifelong Links programme in London for care experienced young people. As part of that work, we have received funding to create this exciting new post which is ideal for a young people participation expert. 

The Young People’s Participation Officer will build on and continue to develop the charity's young people's participation activities so that young people inform, influence and help to deliver the strategic priorities of the charity. Over time, you will be tasked with setting up and supporting groups of care experienced young people who will be integral to the development, influence and promotion of Lifelong Links-related work including the Lifelong Links: London project.

Alongside the Lifelong Links participation work, you'll support other young people who have experience of the child welfare system or were raised in kinship care, to have their voices heard. You will work closely with others within the charity, including members of the Senior Leadership Team, FGC and Lifelong Links Team, Policy Team and with the charity’s Family Participation Officer.
