The Opportunity

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a confident and enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills to join our Work Related Learning Team as a Programme Officer.

This is a term-time role working 39 weeks of the year.

The Programme Officer role is very varied and will enable you to use your creativity to support creation and delivery of workshops as well as utilising your organisation skills to ensure everything is well organised and runs without a hitch. You will gain skills and experience in working with children and young people, supporting delivery of workshops, training corporate volunteers and project management.

Our Work Related Learning team has an excellent reputation in working with schools, partners, employers and volunteers to develop and deliver workshops and programmes which educate children and young people on the world of work and the opportunities available to them once they complete their education.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Provide support and coordination to the Work Related Learning Team working on a range of programmes and workshops, predominantly in secondary schools and, on occasion, with young people with additional needs.
• Recruit, brief and manage volunteers for participation in events.
• Prepare resources, planning and briefing materials.
• Attend events delivered in schools and other external venues.
• Liaise with schools, businesses, volunteers and other stakeholders.
• Collate evaluations and draft reports.
• Admin support.

The British Pharmacological Society is recruiting for a Finance Officer. 

What does the role involve? 

The Finance officer is a new role in the Finance team at the British Pharmacological Society. The Finance Officer will work with the Financial Controller to ensure that all aspects of finance are operated effectively and efficiently. 

Who would suit this role? 

You will have experience working in a finance organisation and/or experience working for membership organisations. The majority of the role fits within a standard working day, but it will involve some evening working, and occasional weekend work recognised through an informal time in lieu process. Queenscourt Hospice is an independent charity that provides free, specialist palliative care for the people of Southport, Formby and West Lancashire. We care for patients with advanced progressive illnesses helping them to achieve the best possible quality of life.

Job Summary 

The Head of Student Representation is a critical member of the Students’ Union’s Delivery senior team and leads Durham SU’s work in influencing Durham University in students’ academic interests, through the support of student leaders and volunteers. The Head manages the Student Voice team, which coordinate support for academic representatives, and which provides policy advice to student leaders and the Durham SU senior staff.

The Head is also the operational lead for data protection, information governance, and data analysis. 

Key Responsibilities and Duties 

The Head of Student Representation is responsible for the performance, growth and sustainability of Durham SU’s professional staff team and volunteers, organised to support faculty and academic representatives.

The Programme and Impact Manager oversees the delivery and development of Kinetic Foundation’s partner-funded programmes and workshops, focusing on personal development activities, community programmes, and impact recording and reporting, ensuring robust data management and safeguarding compliance.This dynamic role requires a flexible, organised individual passionate about youth development and social mobility.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Personal Development Activities 

• Manage, implement, and evaluate partner-funded programmes and workshops to enhance participants’ social-emotional skills, resilience, and employability. 

• Coordinate with external deliverers, funding partners and schools to schedule and deliver workshops for 16-19-year-olds.

The Role

As Chief Financial Officer, you will lead the financial strategy and operations of LTM, ensuring robust financial management, governance, and performance. This is a pivotal role on the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), reporting directly to the Director and attending all Board meetings. You will also deputise for the Director when required.

This role goes beyond traditional finance leadership. You will be a moderniser—driving transformation, leading negotiations, overseeing broader business support functions, and contribute to LTM50, including capital programme oversight. You will be the face of financial and business systems at LTM, helping to deliver a future-fit museum aligned with our strategic vision.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and management of LTM’s overall budget, ensuring financial sustainability across short, medium, and long-term goals
• Oversee all aspects of financial control, governance, reporting, and compliance with statutory, charity, and TfL requirements
• Deliver timely and accurate statutory accounts, budgets, forecasts, and management reports
• Lead business support functions and liaise with TfL departments including HR, Procurement, Reward, Tech and Data and Finance
• Provide strategic financial advice to the Board of Trustees, SLT, and wider teams
• Represent LTM in financial negotiations with external partners and suppliers
• Champion a high-performing, inclusive finance team—setting clear goals, recognising success, and modelling LTM’s values
• Collaborate closely with TfL Finance to ensure alignment and efficiency
• Ensure all financial and legal obligations are met and policies are up to date and followed

The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant with a proven track record in senior finance leadership roles within complex organisations, and will be able to demonstrate:

• Experience at Board level and ability to work in collaboration with Trustees and colleagues;
• Understanding and experience of strategic risk management, finance audit and internal controls;
• Broad operational knowledge including digital transformation, estates, and HR;
• Experience navigating challenging financial climates and driving efficiencies.

This is a newly created and pivotal role that will lead our approach to income generation and strategic growth. As Senior Business Development & Partnerships Manager, you’ll be responsible for identifying and developing new opportunities, particularly in corporate partnerships, trust fundraising, and strategic collaborations, while also shaping how we position and promote our offer.

You’ll work closely with the CEO and senior management team to drive forward our mission and build meaningful relationships with stakeholders across sectors.

• Identify and secure new funding opportunities, with a focus on corporate partnerships and trusts/foundations

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for a strategic and proactive senior leader with a proven track record in income generation and business development, ideally within the charity, education, or corporate responsibility sectors. This role requires a collaborative and entrepreneurial self-starter who can effectively manage and grow our existing network of funders, while also contributing to the development of our evolving business model.

You’ll bring:

• Significant experience in securing income from corporate partnerships and/or trusts and foundations
• Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to quickly understand social impact areas and align them with funder priorities
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to write persuasive proposals and deliver compelling pitches
• A strategic mindset, with experience contributing to organisational planning and growth
• The ability to develop tailored business models and outreach campaigns with both speed and care
• A collaborative, confident approach and experience working at a senior level, including with CEOs or executive teams
• A team player mindset, interested in helping shape great organisational culture and performance

This is a hybrid role, requiring attendance at our St. Paul’s, London office for a minimum of 2 days per week. Candidates must be based within a reasonable commuting distance to London and have the existing right to work in the UK.
