In 2022, we transitioned from a single therapy option to a whole family, community-based model which provides a more accessible and comprehensive approach to support, whilst reducing wait times by 63%. Though we deliver a local service, our work is influencing the national response to child sexual abuse. We provide national training on pre-trial therapy and survivor-led leadership programmes. Purpose of the job
The Green House’s VOICE change-making project aims to support young survivors and their family members to lead social change through creativity. Together, we aim to break the silence and create systemic change around child sexual abuse. Our approach recognises the inherent strengths and possibility of all young people. We develop creative spaces where young people can connect with their community, grow beyond traumatic experiences and learn to lead services like ours, alongside national social change. We see creative change-making and connecting those with lived experience together as imperative to healing. It is the hope for change that helps young people and their families to learn to live a whole life alongside traumatic experiences and step into their potential.
The VOICE Project has two workstreams: Young People’s VOICE and Parent/Carer VOICE. We work with young people to deliver a creative arts leadership programme (6 weekly group), alongside creative drop-in spaces, individual projects and paid-for mentorship opportunities. We work with our Parent/Carer VOICE group to deliver monthly group sessions, parent-led drop-in spaces and individual projects. The VOICE Project also leads our national child sexual abuse (CSA) practitioner network.
This is an exciting time to join the Green House VOICE Project, we have just secured national funding for the first time and are looking for a Senior VOICE Practitioner to lead development and expansion of the programme.
Duties and responsibilities
1. Lead on delivery of the Young People’s VOICE Groups (6 weekly), working with the VOICE Practitioner to support young people to develop group/individual projects and campaigns within each group cycle.
2. Lead on the development of the Parent/Carer VOICE group, co-producing with Parents/Carers and the Senior Leadership Team a new approach to the (currently) monthly programme.
3. Collaborate with the Family Support Team and Therapy Team to deliver regular drop-in spaces for Parents/Carers (“Turn-Up Tuesdays”) and Nature-Based Therapy drop-in spaces (“NBT Drop In”).
4. Lead on the delivery and expansion of CSA Practitioner network for wider professionals, creating opportunities to connect young people’s groups together nationally.
5. Work with the Head of Fundraising and Trustee Board to develop and deliver a quarterly co-production group of young people and parents who can support operational delivery/development of the Green House.
6. Lead on the development of a theory of change for the VOICE Project, working with the VOICE Practitioner, young people, parents/carers and SLT.
7. Work with the Research Manager and VOICE Practitioner to develop our approach to outcome monitoring and evaluation of the VOICE Project.
8. Lead on project management of the VOICE Project, including weekly team meetings, project plans, annual revision of associated documentation e.g., manuals, session plans. Working collaboratively with and taking responsibility for line management of the VOICE Practitioner.
9. Coordinate on VOICE young people led activism campaigns, working with the Communications Officer and Head of Fundraising and Communications towards the delivery of two campaigns per year.
10. Conduct Initial Meetings for young people and parent/carer’s looking to join the VOICE Project – supporting the wider TGH team with recruitment reminders/approaches e.g., attending Family Support/Therapy Team meetings (where appropriate).
11. Develop relationships with our local and national partners to enable effective changemaking for young people and parents/carers.
12. Assess risk and report safeguarding concerns in line with the Green House Policies, main up-to-date safeguarding training, and stay informed on relevant legislation about child sexual abuse and procedures.
13. Maintain accurate, confidential records of all sessions and family contacts, ensuring timely documentation using internal systems e.g., Oasis. 14. Support wider Green House service development, participate in supervision, clinical supervision and training, adhere to Green House policies, and contribute to team communication and operational improvements.

About the role
University Access Officers are responsible for delivering The Access Project’s high impact mentoring programme to students across our partner schools. This role works with a caseload of students supporting them from the start of Year 10 up to the end of Year 11 to understand the pathway to a top university.
The role also involves project coordination, working with our schools, volunteers and teams across The Access Project to ensure our young people are fully supported and have the best possible chance of achieving social mobility and enhancing their future prospects.
This role is for a University Access Officer to work across one school., Shirebrook Academy. Our schools are shown on a map on our website.
Role responsibilities
- Work directly with young people mentoring a caseload of students in a professional and safe manner.
- Deliver our University Readiness programme through in-depth, targeted 1:1 mentoring sessions with Year 10 to Year 11 students.
- Assess student progress towards being able to make successful sixth form applications.
- Engage with students in school and enrol them onto the programme.
- Match students with volunteer tutors.
- Monitor student attendance to tutorials and devise innovative solutions to encourage attendance.
- Monitor the impact of tutorials and intervene as appropriate.
- Build and manage relationships with volunteer tutors to ensure they have a positive experience of the programme
- Manage tutor attendance to tutorials through weekly monitoring systems

The Role
We have a rewarding opportunity for a School Impact Officer to train, support and develop volunteers and monitor the programme through effective administration, data management and to build a deep partnership between the school and the charity.

Purpose
The Programme Officer will be responsible for supporting the effective implementation of project delivery activities across our portfolio, predominantly in Africa, Europe, Central Asia, and the Middle East. The post holder will support project delivery, ensuring quality expectations (internal and client), delivering within the scope and budgeted resources of projects, and in line with project timelines. Main Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Programme Officer include the following:
1. Project Support
- Provide support to Programme Managers in the delivery of projects, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and scope and comply with client contracts
- Take on the project management of assigned select projects within a determined budget/complexity threshold, ensuring that they are delivered to time and quality
- Set-up and monitor project workplans, including change requests ensuring that approvals are formally recorded and filed

3. Organisational Support and Business Development

The primary purpose of the role is to manage a water-sports training facility in the Liverpool area for all Sea Cadet Units and other affiliates to the Boat Station.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day to day running of the Boat Station.
- Ensure that all visiting groups and their staff are fully briefed on the Boat Station’s policies and procedures and that there is adequate supervision of Cadets and young people at the facility, so as to discharge their duty of care for them.
- Oversee the Chief Instructor and all other sessional Instructors using the Boat Station.
- Manage the Boat Station’s accounts in liaison with the Regional Finance Manager including day to day fees.
- Ensure that best practise in accordance with the NGB guidelines and requirements following our Inshore Boating Operating Standard.

Funded by the Department for Education, the National Peer Support Service for England is a game-changing service that creates a sustainable and life-changing legacy. The Opportunity
The EdTech Evidence Lead will play a key role in delivering one of our key projects, focusing on EdTech Evidence. Drawing on their experience and knowledge of EdTech, they will support EdTech companies and educators to build understanding about gathering and evaluating evidence for different EdTech products. They will develop guidance and materials to facilitate this, and work with internal colleagues and external stakeholders to develop resources, systems and processes that aim to promote and recognise ‘high-quality’ evidence around EdTech.
Main responsibilities include:
- Developing tools and resources to support individuals and organisations to engage with, and in, gathering and evaluating evidence around EdTech
- Developing guidance and training which helps EdTech companies plan and carry out evidence-gathering activities for their products and prepares them to submit evidence for formal review
- Contributing to the development and delivery of processes and systems for formally reviewing EdTech evidence
- Build relationships with EdTech companies and other key stakeholders to understand their use of evidence relating to EdTech and engage them with the project
- Liaising with a range of stakeholders to promote the use of EdTech evidence and seek input into the design and development of key project deliverables
- Representing the project externally to promote engagement with both the project, and with EdTech evidence generally
- Leading on the delivery of key project deliverables and monitoring progress towards these.
Additionally:
- Attending and participate in CPD learning activities and training to maintain and develop your knowledge and skills
- Arranging and participate in meetings, as required
- Performing other activities as and when required in order to fulfil the purpose and requirements of the role.

Essential knowledge and experience
- Knowledge and understanding of the EdTech sector and marketplace
- Knowledge and understanding of research relating to education technology and approaches to evaluating its effectiveness and impact
Desirable knowledge and experience
- Degree/Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field
- A good understanding of the English school system including an understanding of evidence-informed practice and digital pedagogy
- Knowledge of designing or writing guidance or training materials
- Knowledge and/or experience of accreditation/ certification/evaluation of individuals, organisations or products
You will also demonstrate:
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- highly effective organisational skills, with ability to manage a demanding and varied workload
- confident user of technology including e.g. Microsoft suite or Google suite
- a willingness to develop your skills further and engage actively in CPD activities
- commitment to equality and diversity, which you demonstrate in your work and daily interactions with colleagues, members and other stakeholders.
