Title: Programme & Events Coordinator

Reports to: Associate Director of Business & Operations

Salary: £28,000 - £31,500 (dependant on experience)

Location: Primarily home-based with hybrid working – however, must be willing and able to travel, representing the charities as and when required. Attending meetings and events nationally and internationally.

The Role

Arrhythmia Alliance and its two sister charities (AF Association and STARS – Syncope Trust) is one of the world's leading heart rhythm charities, delivering internationally recognised educational programmes, medical conferences, awareness campaigns patient educational events, awareness programmes and exhibiting at congresses to promote and deliver our work.

Working alongside and reporting to the HRC Manager, you will coordinate the planning and delivery of healthcare professional conferences, patient education events, our programmes, awareness campaigns and digital programmes across the UK and internationally.

You will provide day-to-day project coordination and administrative support to ensure programmes and events are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.

Event & Programme Coordination

• Coordinate the planning and delivery of conferences, meetings, webinars, exhibitions and events.
• Support the HRC Manager with the day-to-day coordination of multiple projects and event timelines.

· Coordinate venue bookings, accommodation, travel, catering, audio-visual requirements, faculty invites, registration and event logistics.

· Maintain project plans, action trackers and planning documentation.

· Prepare delegate materials, speaker information and event resources.

· Liaise with internal teams to ensure all event requirements are completed within agreed timescales.

· Monitor deadlines and escalate any risks or issues to the HRC Manager.

· Coordinate exhibitor and sponsor logistics, ensuring all requirements are delivered.

· Coordinate event registration, working with the Communications team to launch registration and manage delegate bookings, reporting registration progress to the HRC Manager.

· Coordinate the collection of faculty presentations and supporting materials prior to events.

Coordination & Communication

• Act as a day-to-day coordination contact for faculty, venues, suppliers and delegates, referring decisions and complex queries to the HRC Manager as appropriate.
• Coordinate communications between internal departments, suppliers and external contacts.
• Arrange planning meetings, circulate agendas and record actions where required.
• Ensure information is shared accurately and promptly with everyone involved in each project.

Event Delivery

• Support the on-site delivery of conferences, meetings programmes and events.
• Coordinate registration, delegate enquiries and faculty requirements.
• Assist with the smooth running of live, hybrid and virtual events.
• Resolve routine operational issues during events, escalating where necessary.
• Coordinate post-event evaluations, feedback collection and reporting to support continuous improvement.

Essential Experience

· 3–5 years' experience delivering conferences or large-scale events

Working Pattern

This is a full-time position with the working week consisting of Monday to Thursday 9.00am–5.30pm with 1 hour lunch break, and Friday 9.00am-5.00pm with

30-minute lunch break.

Due to the nature of the role, flexibility is essential. The successful candidate will be expected to work occasionally outside normal office hours to support conferences, meetings, educational programmes and charity events. This will include occasional early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnight stays and international travel. Flexibility is a key requirement of this role.

Purpose of the Role

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership & Quality of Education

• Support the Executive Headteacher in setting the Academy’s strategic direction and ensuring compliance with OEAS/DfE standards.

• Monitor and review teaching and learning across the Academy, using lesson observations, work scrutiny, and data analysis to drive pedagogical improvement.

3. Safeguarding and Wellbeing (DSL)

• Ensure policies remain compliant with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) and best practice.

• Promote a culture of vigilance, ensuring learner wellbeing, attendance, and emotional safety are central to all Academy functions.

4. Leadership & Staff Development

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• Proven experience in designing and delivering whole-school staff training.

• Extensive (1 year minimum) experience as a DSL (safeguarding) and SENCO (SEND provision).

• Deep understanding of KCSIE, the SEND Code of Practice, and OEAS/DfE requirements.

• Experience in reviewing teaching and learning to drive quality improvement.

This role will help strengthen Sands’ hospital liaison work by building, supporting and developing our network of Hospital Liaison Volunteers. Hospital Liaison Volunteers provide an important link between Sands, NHS services and local communities, helping hospital staff understand and access Sands’ support, training, resources and bereavement care guidance.

The postholder will work closely with volunteers, NHS staff and Sands colleagues to support high-quality, equitable bereavement care for bereaved parents and families. They will coordinate activity, monitor progress, gather feedback and insight, and help ensure learning from hospitals and volunteers informs continuous improvement across the NBCP England programme.

This is a role for someone who is highly organised, values-driven and confident working with people. You will bring experience of supporting volunteer networks, coordinating projects and building strong relationships with a range of stakeholders. You will need to understand social enterprise finances, be able to read accounts, budgets, cashflows and have a good knowledge of social enterprise income streams.

Purpose of the Role

The Youth Insights Programme Lead is responsible for leading the effective design, planning and delivery of assigned Youth Insights panels and projects. The role bridges strategic leadership and operational delivery, ensuring that panels are well designed, well facilitated, well coordinated and deliver high-quality insight for partners.

The Programme Lead manages day-to-day partner relationships, leads delivery planning, supports facilitators, oversees programme outputs and ensures young people have a positive, inclusive and meaningful experience.

2. Operational Partner Management

• Act as the primary day-to-day relationship manager for assigned partners.

• Identify risks, issues or opportunities in partner relationships and escalate appropriately to the Programme Manager.

3. Insight Generation and Reporting

• Analyse youth feedback and identify key themes, patterns and insights from assigned panels.
• Draft reports, summaries, presentations and recommendations for partners.
• Ensure reports go beyond description and begin to translate youth feedback into meaningful insight.
• Work within the reporting frameworks, standards and templates agreed by the Programme Manager.
• Incorporate quality feedback from the Programme Manager and strengthen outputs accordingly.
• Support the development of case studies, impact stories and evidence of partner value.
• Contribute learning from assigned panels into wider Youth Insights service development.

4. Delivery Quality and Facilitation

• Ensure all assigned programmes are delivered to a high standard.
• Brief, support and coordinate freelance facilitators for assigned sessions.
• Ensure facilitators understand the purpose, method, safeguarding requirements and desired outcomes of each session.
• Monitor delivery quality and participant experience.
• Provide feedback to facilitators and escalate quality concerns where needed.
• Ensure session materials, resources and activities are prepared and appropriate.
• Support consistency of delivery across panels, while adapting appropriately to different partner contexts.

5. Youth Engagement and Inclusion

• Ensure young people are meaningfully involved, listened to and supported throughout their participation.
• Work with the Programme Coordinator to support recruitment, onboarding, retention and engagement.
• Monitor participant experience and respond to issues or barriers to participation.
• Identify gaps in representation within assigned panels and work with the Programme Coordinator and Programme Manager to address them.
• Ensure delivery is inclusive, accessible and responsive to young people’s needs.
• Support young people to build confidence, skills and understanding through their involvement.

6. Programme Coordination and Project Management

• Develop and maintain delivery plans for assigned Youth Insights panels.
• Coordinate timelines, milestones, partner inputs, facilitator availability and reporting deadlines.
• Work closely with the Programme Coordinator to ensure logistics, communications and records are well managed.
• Ensure risks, actions and dependencies are tracked and communicated.
• Support effective use of HubSpot and other systems to manage participant journeys and partner activity.
• Ensure programme information is accurate, up to date and accessible to the team.

7. Team Support and Development

• Support and mentor the Programme Coordinator in relation to assigned programmes.
• Delegate appropriate tasks clearly and support effective workload management.
• Share learning, tools and good practice across the Youth Insights team.
• Contribute to training, reflection sessions and process improvement.

• Ensure safeguarding, consent, data protection and risk processes are followed across assigned programmes.

To thrive in this role, you'll need hands-on experience of facilitating groups or meetings and an understanding of what great facilitation looks like. Whilst already being a qualified SMART Recovery Facilitator and/or having engaged with our meetings as a previous participant is a distinct advantage, we also accept applications from individuals with a general awareness of addiction recovery or our 4-Point Programme. Importantly, you’ll be someone who brings people together, listens deeply, and creates a safe, empowering space for growth and recovery.

Your presentation skills should engage, inspire, and inform with clarity and warmth, whether you’re speaking with a room full of volunteers, delivering training via Zoom, or presenting to our partnership organisations. You’ll be required to help grow our footprint, increase and diversify our partnerships and encourage the uptake of our programme. You will represent UKSR at community events, recovery walks and conferences and get involved in defined projects.

You should have experience in working with volunteers, understanding how to support and develop their skills. Previous delivery of training is essential, and if that experience has been gained in a peer-support or recovery setting, all the better. This role requires emotional intelligence; you’ll be working with people who have faced adversity, and your ability to support them within clear, professional boundaries is critical. Giving and receiving feedback, gathering data and other evidence to inform service development, and exercising reflective practice are all essential attributes.

You’ll also contribute to key projects that move SMART Recovery forward, adding your voice and insight to help shape what comes next. The role therefore requires project mangement skills as you will work on specific projects that develop our publications, training, communications and marketing. If you have a special interest and expertise in certain areas of our business such as social media and campaigns, training, volunteer management or copywriting we can develop this skill and interest as an enhancement to your role. Developing areas of expertise within our Co-ordinator team is something we are keen to do. 

As this is a home-based role, you’ll need to be comfortable forming meaningful relationships online, building trust and connection via email, phone, and video calls. We’ll provide the equipment you need, but you’ll bring the energy and adaptability to make remote working feel personal and productive. Regular travel across the defined regions is a vital part of the role, visiting SMART Recovery meetings in the community and within partner organisations, and offering continual support to facilitators, are all essential in helping our network continue to grow with the quality we strive for.

About the Role 

We are seeking an ambitious, entrepreneurial and relationship-focused Partnerships & Engagement Manager to lead the development of new income streams from philanthropists and the wider public. 

This is an exciting opportunity to build and grow a fundraising portfolio that will support One World in Schools in the UK, while also generating funding for PIN’s broader humanitarian and development programmes internationally. 

The successful candidate will cultivate and steward major donors, develop compelling fundraising propositions, and identify innovative ways to engage supporters with the impact of our work. They will also play a leading role in establishing and delivering the organisation’s One World engagement strategy, leveraging film screenings, festivals, partnerships, and events to strengthen stakeholder engagement and create new fundraising opportunities.

The Communications Manager provides operational leadership for CLAPA's communications delivery, ensuring communications and marketing activity is effectively planned, prioritised and delivered in support of the charity's strategic objectives. 

Reporting to the Head of Communications and Marketing, the postholder is responsible for translating the communications strategy into coordinated day-to-day delivery. They will oversee the planning, scheduling and operational management of communications activity across the organisation, ensuring work is appropriately prioritised, resources are allocated effectively and projects are delivered to a consistently high standard. 

The role directly manages CLAPA's Communications Officers, embedding effective planning, briefing and workflow processes that enable the team to deliver proactive, creative and high-quality communications.

Acting as the primary operational lead for communications delivery, the postholder will ensure colleagues across CLAPA receive responsive, well-planned communications support while maintaining clear priorities and protecting the team's capacity to deliver its best work.
