Clinical Responsibilities
- Adheres to the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics for nurses and midwives always.
- Maintains clear and identified professional boundaries at all times.
- Provides a high quality of direct care, as evidenced by clinical audit, placing the child/young person and their families at the centre of all planning.
- Act as a role model for other members of the team, disseminating their skills as appropriate.
- Ensure the safe custody and administration of medication and reports any discrepancies.
- Demonstrate competence in the full set of clinical nursing skills, as required of role.
- Utilise evidence-based practice and research, to inform care treatments that lead to the desired outcomes for children.
- Involved in the audit process and suggest necessary changes in line with clinical audit; positively assist with implementation.
- Plan, implement and evaluate nursing interventions and health promotional developments within The Children’s Trust School, in liaison with the Multidisciplinary Team.
Although this role is based within The Children’s Trust School, you will be required to work on a 52-week contract.
With experience of working in a complex environment, across a large and diverse workforce, you will be exceptionally organised with a high-level of attention to detail. You will naturally possess excellent inter-personal skills, and an ability to consult and positively engage with key stakeholders across the organisation.

The Learning and Skills Development Co-Ordinator will lead on developing a program of training, learning, volunteering and work experience for the residents of Homeless Oxfordshire that increase self esteem, engagement and motivation. - Devise and deliver a structured programme of training and education (both formal and informal) to improve our residents' skills and confidence which prepares them for the next stage of their lives.

About LEAP
LEAP is built on the foundation of strong, supportive relationships that empower residents to move towards stable, independent living. Through one-to-one key worker support, trauma-informed care, and community engagement, residents rebuild trust, form friendships, and gain confidence. Activities like gardening, arts and crafts, and creative writing foster connection and personal growth, while group involvement helps residents feel part of a wider community. LEAP also supports residents to take steps into peer mentoring, volunteering, and training, helping them build positive networks beyond their immediate circle and develop the skills and confidence to thrive independently.
At LEAP, community involvement is at the heart of their work. Empowering residents through co-production is a key organisational goal. Through a wide range of engaging and meaningful activities, residents will experience positive outcomes such as increased confidence, self-esteem, and a sense of inclusion. They will build supportive networks, learn key life skills and access training, volunteering, and employment opportunities. Many will gain qualifications and secure long-term accommodation. The project strengthens peer support and enables residents to shape services through formalised Residents’ Forums, ensuring their voices influence senior decision-making. For Homeless Oxfordshire, LEAP enhances our capacity to deliver peer-led support, builds staff knowledge, and informs service improvement. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

SPECIFIC DUTIES
Office Administration
- Be the first point of contact for all callers, including email, phone and in-person
- Administer incoming and outgoing mail and email boxes, giving appropriate advice or referring onwards on within one working day
- Support the management of IT equipment
- Arrange travel and accommodation for managers, staff and trustees
- Assist with the organisation of events, conferences and training on behalf of LtL
- Organise refreshments and catering at events and meetings
- Maintain LtL’s records/files/images both electronic and paper based, ensuring all data is stored accurately and securely in accordance with LtL policy and GDPR law
- Order stationery and day-to-day equipment and refreshments for the LtL office
- Implement LtL’s Health and Safety Policy within the office
- Maintain liaison with landlords to ensure a well-maintained office space and oversee the maintenance and replacement of office furniture and equipment.
HR Support
- Support recruitment and onboarding admin as needed
- Order staff uniforms, badges and equipment as required.
Project Management Support/Administration
- Respond to project enquiries and requests to ensure they are appropriately actioned within one working day
- Develop good relationships with schools over the duration of the projects Assist with printing and collation of information including replenishment of marketing/training materials, resources and stationery for the project team.

Essential criteria:
- A minimum of 2 years experience of working as part of a team in a busy office environment
- Educated to a good standard of education with C Standard Grades or equivalent

Key Responsibilities
Research grant management
- Managing the delivery of GOSH Charity’s response-mode funding schemes, including our National Research Project Grant and ‘Lift Off’ pilot study funding call and others.
- Supporting potential applicants via email, phone or in person to ensure we receive high quality grant applications.
- Processing, reviewing and validating grant applications.
- Leading the peer review process using our Grant Management System.
- Project managing the delivery of the Research Assessment Panel.
- Supporting the input of patient and public voice, to ensure they’re built into our research funding decision making.
Committee management
- Providing operational and secretariat support to the Research Assessment Panel and Lift Off Scientific Assessment Panels, and other expert research review panels as required.
- Managing agendas and meeting logistics, including face to face meetings as they are arranged.
- Preparing papers and reports, and collating these from across the team for delivery to the Committee in good time.
- Preparing high quality minutes that provide a clear record of discussions, decisions, and actions, and disseminating these following internal and Chair approval.
- Support the regular review of the Committee membership and tenure.
- Evaluating and recommending improvement and applying sector best practice to the Committee operations.
- Being a first point of call for Committee members, supporting them to deliver their role and ensuring they have a good experience working with GOSH Charity

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Role Overview:
Our Sport and Inclusion Tutor will lead, deliver and develop our intervention programmes, focusing on mentoring young people accessing our Tackle LIFE and Be You programmes.
