The Targeted Support Team deliver a wide variety of programmes to empower young people and adults to improve their confidence and skills and progress into training and employment. Leading group sessions and individualised mentoring, the team deliver with passion and expertise to individuals from a range of backgrounds, offering person-centred guidance and support.
The Role
CXK is looking for an Engagement & Employability Assistant to support our programmes across Kent. As an Engagement & Employability Assistant, you'll use your creativity and mentoring skills to aid tailored support to individuals in various community settings, preparing them for the workforce or further education. Whether through one-on-one sessions or group activities, you'll foster personal, social, and employability skills, helping to equip beneficiaries with the tools they need to move into education, training, an apprenticeship, or sustained employment.
The main responsibilities of the role are to:
· Support the delivery of engaging unaccredited/accredited training sessions and workshops, incorporating both face-to-face and online formats to suit diverse learning styles.
· Employ a person-centred approach, adapting strategies to suit individual or group dynamics.
· Deliver personalised mentoring, advice, and guidance to unemployed young people and adults, nurturing their growth and employability.
· Identify the additional support needs of young people and adults and work with appropriate providers to ensure this is available to them.
· Support work placements and other community opportunities and be confident working in detached and outreach settings.
· Advocate for young people and adults, working to support them and their families to address barriers to progression with sensitivity and confidentiality.

Staff are expected to work 8 hours daily on a shift rota basis. This will include weekend working. Shifts are 7.30am to 3.30pm and 2.00pm to 10pm.

About this key role

The Regional Programme & Partnerships Manager plays a central role in leading and growing LTSB’s work across Birmingham. Sounds great, what will I be doing?
This role is responsible for delivering person-centred support that promotes wellbeing, independence, and tenancy sustainment for service users with diverse and often complex needs. You will assess referrals, co-produce and review SMART support and risk management plans, and work in partnership with external agencies to ensure access to health, education, employment, and community resources.
The role involves supporting independent living skills, financial stability, and recovery while preventing relapse or hospitalisation. You will maintain accurate records, uphold organisational policies, and contribute to service monitoring and development. Acting as a positive representative of Hestia, you will build strong relationships with service users, colleagues, and key stakeholders.

Knowledge of health and safety within community settings and the ability to undertake effective key working, support planning, and risk assessments to promote independence are essential.
You will have a sound understanding of mental health, substance misuse, and the issues affecting the client group, with the ability to work collaboratively with external professionals to develop and coordinate tailored support packages. Strong safeguarding knowledge, a commitment to continuous learning and professional development. You will be proactive, organised, and committed to helping service users achieve positive outcomes and greater independence.

About the role
The Community Link Worker will play a key role in supporting individuals who are economically inactive due to musculoskeletal issues and/or mental health needs, and with a desire to return to or get into work. The postholder will build strong relationships with local services, employment teams, health professionals and community organisations to enable clients to reintegrate into the workforce and improve their overall wellbeing.
This role requires flexibility to work across multiple community settings, including GP practices and outreach locations as part of a multidisciplinary team. As well as having a base at the Merton Connected office in Vestry Hall and potential opportunity to work from home.

Job Title: Housing Support Worker
Location: Based in Brent. This is a floating support service which means locations may vary from outreach sites, personal homes, and our office space. Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday on a rota between 08:00 and 18:00 working 8 hour shifts. You may be required to work outside these hours as per service and participant requirements.
About the Role
We're hiring a Housing Support Worker to join our team based in Brent. In this role, you will support participants who have been or are at risk of homelessness, experienced social exclusion, mental health challenges, substance use challenges, learning disabilities and/or may have previous convictions. You will support participants on their journey towards recovery, reablement, and independence within a compassionate and trauma informed environment.
In this role, you'll be at the heart of delivering high quality, person centered support through tailored support plans which provide practical interventions, to empower our participants to overcome personal challenges, develop life skills, and achieve their personal goals. You will also work closely in partnership with various organisations to support the different needs of our participants, which may include signposting. The service is staffed 24/7 and this post-holder will be required to cover an average of at least one sleep-in per week (pro rata).

What you'll do:
- If a need arises, deliver all aspects of support to enable a customer to develop independent living skills as appropriate to the individual needs of the customer. This includes delivering personal and physical care as appropriate;
- Support customers to undertake all domestic tasks wherever possible, including practical assistance where they have not yet developed the skills, to ensure customers enjoy a high quality of accommodation;
- Participate in support planning and risk management, of named customers, as directed by the service management;
- Ensure the safety and security of the customers and the premises whilst on shift;
- Enable customers to make full use of community facilities by providing support that enables maximum external engagement;
- Report any observations relating to customers welfare
