About the Aziz Foundation
We at The Aziz Foundation are a family charitable foundation established to support British Muslim communities to flourish and give back to our country. Job Purpose
This is a new and vital role for the Foundation, involving developing our work around employment, which will support British Muslims to access employment and develop their careers in fields in which we are currently under-represented. Internal relationships

Key Responsibilities

What is the role of Supporter Connection and Engagement Officer?
The Supporter Connection and Engagement Officer plays a key role in building and strengthening relationships with our supporters, this can include churches, church leaders, key volunteers and individual. You’ll engage with people personally – primarily through phone and email – to inspire generosity, communicate impact, and ensure every supporter feels valued and connected to Church Army’s mission.

Music Minds Matter has developed an ambitious new impact model which aims to transform mental wellbeing amongst people working in music and this role will manage the development and delivery of support within this model and play a truly impactful role across music.
Day to day the role will deliver a blend of: new support development- from training and groups, to online digital content- ensuring all support is developed in line with our Clinical and Quality Governance protocols, planning and coordinating support for teams and sites across music, direct delivery of some support online and in person, and relationship management of our incredible network of Allies and delivery partners.
About you
Lived experience of the music industry, strong programme management skills, mental health service expertise, and the ability to build meaningful stakeholder connections across music will be the essential enablers for true impact in this role.

About the role
The Employment Adviser provides specialist, client‑focused support to refugees and people seeking asylum within Doncaster’s Integrated Refugee & Asylum Services. Working under the direction of the Project Manager, the Adviser delivers employability interventions including assessments, workshops, and one‑to‑one guidance. They prepare clients for competitive employment, support progression into training, volunteering, and work placements, and help secure sustainable jobs.
The role manages a defined caseload, tailoring support plans to individual needs, and contributes to project outcomes by meeting agreed targets for client progression. The Adviser collaborates with employers, training providers, and community partners to create opportunities, while maintaining accurate records and reporting progress to the Project Manager.

About the Role
We are seeking four highly motivated, organised and compassionate Employment Advisors, to deliver the countywide Connect To Work programme in our new Employment workstream. In this highly rewarding role, you will be responsible supporting individuals experiencing mental health problems, and those facing complex barriers, to secure and sustain meaningful paid employment.
This position is part of the Connect to Work programme — a voluntary Supported Employment initiative funded by the Department for Work and Pensions. You will deliver the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model, offering tailored advice and guidance to individuals, while also building strong partnerships with local employers to create opportunities aligned with individuals’ skills and aspirations.
As an Employment Advisor you will deliver the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model to meet individuals regularly to understand an individual’s skills, strengths and goals; developing clear action plans; provide practical support; and co-create personalised action plans.
The programme provides structured, 1:1 and group based person centred support to build confidence, motivation and resilience, to help individuals work towards clear, work related goals.
You will also engage with employers to identify suitable opportunities, arrange interviews, and offer ongoing support to both individuals and employers to promote successful job retention; whilst advocating for individuals to de-stigmatise mental health.
You may also work with a small number of individuals who are already in work to sustain and thrive in their employment.

About the organisation:
This is an Employment Consultancy role with a difference; you will be working for a unique, award-winning organisation that helps people that have served a prison sentence to re-enter the workplace by:
- Training serving prisoners as Peer Recruiters, who then provide a Candidate pipeline and work closely alongside the Community Team.
- Take employers into prison to interview Candidates. Some job offers are made there and then.
- Provide caseworker support to Candidates in the community with the primary aim of removing their barriers to work and supporting them into meaningful, sustainable employment.
About the role:
As a Community Employment Consultant, you will support the senior team and work alongside the prison peer-led team, helping Peer Recruiters in custody to identify and support Candidates.
Key responsibilities include:
- Build strong relationships with the relevant prison staff. (The prison you cover may well be in the East Midlands)
- Support the Head of West Midlands programme to engage employers and plan monthly interview days.
- Develop relationships with local and national employers and to promote the service and create employment opportunities for participants.
- Work with the team to develop and implement a strategy to identify and target local and national employers.
- Build relationships with local Probation offices and staff, DWP and Local Authority initiatives and Police & Crime Commissioner/Violence Reduction Unit and other relevant statutory and voluntary sector organisations.
- Maintain accurate and up to date records to monitor the effectiveness of the programme using our in-house portal (CRM system). Provide effective case management for participants, ensuring tailored and consistent support.
About you:
To be successful in the role of, you will need the following skills and experience:
- A full driving license and access to a car on (at least) a weekly basis.
- Be able and willing to work in Prisons and Youth Offender Institutions, this includes a vetting process which you will need to pass in order to be successful in the role.
- An empathetic and understanding approach when working with Candidates.
- A good understanding of the barriers faced by people with convictions in accessing employment.
- An interest in employment, the local labour market and Industry trends.
- Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels, including the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Strong administration skills with IT (MS Office) and well organised.
- You will have strong writing skills and will be able to write good CV’s and Disclosure Letters.
Although not essential, experience of Recruitment or Case Management would be desirable.

About this key role
Our successful candidate will deliver targeted ETE interventions through one-to-one support, group work and co-working alongside FFT caseworkers, plus support young people to progress into and sustain education, training and employment outcomes. As a Peer Support Worker you will:
- Offer 1-1 support in St Albans, Hatfield and Stevenage, and within other HMN Wellbeing Centres across the County depending on client need and waiting lists
- Deliver Social Support Groups within our Wellbeing Centres
- Work with clients to identify their individual needs and support them through a personalised, person-centred approach
- Support clients in a variety of settings, including within the community, their home, and our Wellbeing Centres

The successful candidate will have significant proven knowledge of models and services to meet the needs of adults with mental health needs and of delivering mental health services within a health and social care setting as well as an understanding of the relationship between mental health and social issues and how these issues may impact on physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.
