Steps to Success
CXK delivers the Steps to Success programme across East Sussex, in partnership with East Sussex County Council.
Funded by the Careers Enterprise Company, this exciting project delivers a tested model across secondary schools, supporting young people in year 11 to achieve successful post 16 pathways.
The Team
The Project Coach will be based within CXK’s Youth Employability Service (YES) and will undertake regular careers-based interventions with young people, supporting them to understand their options and take steps toward achieving their goals around education, training and /or future employment. The coaches’ approach is focused, creative and persistent, building on young peoples’ confidence and motivation alongside their skills and personal growth.
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Project Coach.
You will support a caseload of young people in Year 11, seeing them in their school setting or in the community if they are not attending school. Working across the East of the county, with schools and FE Colleges you will play a key role in ensuring that young people receive the tailored guidance and support they need to progress confidently into further education, training, or employment. You will build positive working relationships through co-located working, and accurate input into relevant databases.
You will maintain regular contact with the young people you support, building trust and ensuring that casework is delivered with care and consistency. Your role will involve assessing needs, action planning, reviewing progress, and adapting support as required. Also supporting parents/carers to be aware of their young person’s next steps and the opportunities available.
About You
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience working with young people, especially SEND and Risk of NEET young people, who understands the post-16 education and training landscape and the importance of person-centred support. You will be a confident communicator and collaborator, able to manage your caseload and make a genuine impact on the lives of the young people you support.

Minimum Criteria
· An understanding of the needs, and challenges faced by young people who are at risk of not being in education, employment or training
· Experience of working with young people on a one-to-one basis, developing personalised plans and goal setting
· Experience of managing a range of tasks at any one time, and holding positive relationships with different stakeholders
Essential Criteria
· A willingness to travel with a full UK drivers’ licence and use of own vehicle
· Experience working with young people
· Demonstratable experience of engaging and supporting young people.
· Be aware of risks, health & safety and safeguarding concerns, to act and escalate as appropriate
·Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience liaising effectively with schools, parents/carers, and multi-agency professionals
·Experience of assessing individual needs, develop action plans, and monitor progress
·Skilled in managing a varied caseload and maintaining accurate and confidential records
·Understanding of the post-16 education, training, and employment landscape
·Ability to build trust and maintain regular, consistent contact with young people
·Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team
· Competent in using IT systems, databases, and digital communication tools

For homeless people, or those at risk of homelessness, finding employment and housing opportunities can feel like an uphill battle, even more so if they’re affected by physical, mental health or substance misuse issues. Providence Row works with those affected by homelessness and those vulnerably housed in London, offering an integrated service of crisis support, advice and progression programmes. We ensure that people often excluded from mainstream services gain the support and opportunities they need to create a safe, healthy and sustainable life away from the streets.
Through our Reset Outreach & Referral Service (RORS), we support people in Tower Hamlets affected by drugs and alcohol. Our team takes a harm-reduction approach: meeting people where they are, reducing stigma, and helping them access treatment, health services, and wider community support.

The ideal candidate
To be considered for this role, you should be able to:

Provide outreach and in-reach support to people affected by substance use across Tower Hamlets, including those who may have a history of rough sleeping, be vulnerably housed, or otherwise disconnected from mainstream services.

Carry out person-centred assessments and work collaboratively with service users to develop support and recovery plans.

Make timely and appropriate referrals to specialist services (e.g. treatment, health, housing, and social care) to ensure holistic support.

About the role
The purpose of this role is to support the Centre Manager in managing the facility known as SCTC Raleigh which is hosted at HMS Raleigh. We operate within and as part of HMS Raleigh, this requires significant co-ordination and liaison across the wider team at HMS Raleigh. The purpose of SCTC Raleigh is to facilitate and support the delivery of cadet training for all organisations of the Royal Navy Cadet Forces. This role is responsible for facilities management and health and safety reporting to the Centre Manager.

- Lead on arranging all logistics in support of the centre’s activities

About the role

You will also support wider organisational activity such as emergency appeals, supporter retention, and keeping-in-touch calls.
As part of the Supporter Contact team, you will represent ActionAid in internal meetings, contribute to induction of new staff, and uphold our mission, values and feminist principles in your daily work. The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to handle enquiries across multiple digital channels, and confidence working in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in customer service and familiarity with relationship-management databases are essential, along with solid IT literacy and an ability to explain information clearly and simply. Charity sector or supporter care experience is beneficial but not required.

We now have an exciting opportunity for a maternity cover Programme Manager to lead the effective delivery of the STEP In-Person Programme, ensuring participants receive high-quality, accessible employment support within their communities. You will work closely with our network of delivery partners to ensure consistency, quality assurance, and participant-centred approaches across multiple regions.
You will be responsible for a wide range of programme and partnership management tasks, including grant and contract oversight, finance, data and impact reporting, capacity building for delivery partners, and troubleshooting challenges in delivery. You will also provide line management to the STEP Programme Officer and other programme staff as required.
Alongside this, you will also be involved in UK-wide programme development work. This may include helping refine our CRM systems, contributing to MEL frameworks and analysis, developing curriculum and resources, supporting staff training and inductions, and ensuring safeguarding practices are upheld.
This is a dynamic and strategic role, ideal for someone who is highly organised, confident managing multiple priorities, and passionate about supporting people who have experienced forced displacement to rebuild their futures. You will work closely with senior colleagues to uphold the programme’s excellence during the maternity cover period and inform its continued development into 2026 and beyond.
About you
We are looking for candidates who have:
· Experience managing programmes, ideally within employment, education or refugee support sectors

The Ascent Pan London Floating Support Service (PLFSS) provides high-quality domestic abuse support, ‘by-and-for’ services and counselling. This partnership, which is run by 11 specialist DA organisations (including Solace), delivers trauma-informed, wrap-around, client-led support for those in safe accommodation, across London.
As a partner organisation, Solace is established in the communities/boroughs that we cover and have links and referral pathways. In working together, we can help survivors of domestic abuse, for whom refuge accommodation is not suitable, to create a life for themselves, free from fear and abuse.
About the Role
As a Housing Floating Support Worker, you will help women with practical tenancy sustainment, as well as ongoing support to cope, recover and move towards independence. You will achieve this through:
· Specialist support and safety planning, to reduce risks and harm for survivors and their children
· Ongoing casework support, including referrals to specialist advice and practical support, such as legal advice around civil and criminal remedies
· Empowering survivors with information on their rights and options, demystifying complex statutory systems and dispelling myths perpetuated by perpetrators and wider society
· Support to maintain accommodation, or to source permanent accommodation as necessary
· Financial empowerment work to maximise income, including support with debt
· Referral to therapeutic support from Woman’s Trust
· Support to link with local resources such as ESOL classes, volunteering and training to develop financial independence, and opportunities to gain social support, such as mother-and-baby groups, or formal DA programmes (delivered by partners)
About You
The ideal candidate will have experience of managing risk and following case management procedures to meet the needs of the client group, and the ability to work with women to help them tounderstand their needs, risk assess, develop safety plan and support them in linking with other agencies.
