Job description

Project Support Officer, Behaviour Change & Engagement

£21,947 per annum

37.5 hours per week – based in Bristol

This is an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of Sustrans’ vision of a society where the way we move creates healthier places and happier lives for everyone. You will working within the UK-wide Development team with a particular focus on Sustrans’ behaviour change work.

A big part of the role will be to support the delivery of the Sustrans’ UK-wide school campaigns including our annual high profile schools campaign. The post holder will gain insight into a broad range of charity-wide operations by assisting the Development Director and other senior staff in tasks such as arranging and delivering senior-level meetings and helping with their administrative tasks. This is a diverse role in which you will contribute across the school, workplace and community settings and across a wide range of projects and tasks. This includes writing content for our UK wide projects, managing challenge data and communicating to a broad range of internal and external stakeholders. You will also manage areas of delivery such as our busy inboxes.

This role presents an unusual and exciting opportunity to build experience and knowledge charity-wide, whilst still working closely with others within the UK-Development team. With a background of managing a busy and diverse workload, you will have excellent attention to detail and have experience of successfully working with tight deadlines. You will have excellent IT skills and be willing to learn new software and systems.  You will also be committed to the promotion of sustainable transport.
