As a respected and growing organisation, BPNA is looking for a highly motivated individual who can use their dedication, attention to detail and reliability to help us develop further. We are seeking to appoint a UK Short Course Co-ordinator to join our small team which is based across our Bolton and London offices. This is a full-time, permanent post based in Bolton, working 37.5 hours a week (7.5 hours per day x 5 days per week). The Short Course Co-ordinator will provide customer care as well as logistical and technical support to both online and face-to-face UK short courses.

The British Paediatric Neurology Association (BPNA) is the professional organisation for doctors who specialise in the care of children with neurological disorders. The BPNA has developed a number of educational programmes for doctors in the UK and overseas both online and face-to-face. This role directly supports the education of healthcare professionals across the UK, impacting the care of children with neurological conditions.
ABOUT YOU
This role would suit an organised, efficient and practical person with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a good deal of common sense. You will also have diplomatic skills and the ability to build good relationships. You will need to be flexible, have an ability to problem-solve on-site, provide online zoom support, set up equipment such as computers and data projectors, and to organise highly educated people whilst remaining calm and maintaining a sense of humour. We are looking for someone to join our team who will contribute to maintaining and developing our customer focused ethos.
While this role is primarily based in Bolton, there will be some UK travel with overnight stays to support in-person courses. We offer time off in lieu or overtime paid for additional hours worked.

LOCATION

You should anticipate spending an increased amount of time in the office during your probationary period.
JOB PURPOSE
This role provides hands-on experience with technology support for virtual courses and event planning for in-person courses for health care professionals, equipping you with skills in both administrative and event coordination settings. All course planning and logistics are arranged from the BPNA offices.
The purpose of this role is to:

The successful candidate will provide advice and casework to asylum seekers, refugees and migrants in South East London on matters relating to housing and homelessness, welfare benefits, NRPF support, community care and asylum support. The candidate has the exciting opportunity to lead on the delivery of AFRIL's Casework Drop-in for asylum seekers and recently granted refugees, supported by a Caseworker and Outreach Volunteers. Shannon Trust are delighted to be working with His Majesty’s Prison & Probation Service (HMPPS) to provide peer-led learning programmes across a number of prisons. To ensure the continuation of our programmes during times of staff absence, we are now seeking to recruit a Prison Facilitator on a bank working basis to work across the South Central region, covering HMP Aylesbury and HMP Bullingdon. Working closely with prisons and their staff, people in prison, Shannon Trust volunteers and mentors, this post will support with the delivery and development of our literacy and numeracy programme in the Central region, maximising opportunities for people in prison to learn to read.
Ideally you will have some experience of prison settings underpinned by the ability to build relationships quickly and personal qualities that include resilience, determination and a problem-solving approach. You will also have a willingness to travel, sometimes at short notice, to provide short or long term cover within the region including possible overnight stays.
This role will be prison-based. This is a bank role and so the number of days to be worked will vary and are not guaranteed. Responsibilities:
- Creating and delivering marketing campaigns that raise awareness of our care homes and housing schemes.
- Working with our digital agency to run paid campaigns (PPC, social, lead generation) and supporting traditional methods where effective.
- Managing and updating the website to ensure content is clear, relevant, accessible, and SEO-optimised.
- Collaborating with colleagues across the charity to provide consistent, joined-up messaging.
- Protecting and promoting our brand identity and tone of voice across all materials.
- Using research and insight to understand audiences and identify trends.
- Building strong relationships with colleagues, partners, and communities to deliver joined-up marketing.
- Measuring and reporting on campaign impact using tools such as Google Analytics and social media insights.
- Managing the marketing budget to ensure resources are used effectively.
- Additional duties as required.
Experience/skills:
- Degree or equivalent in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Minimum of three years’ marketing experience, including digital campaigns, website management (e.g. WordPress), and SEO.
- Confident communicator with strong writing, editing, and presentation skills.
- Proficient in using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite for on-brand materials.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- The ability to work independently and with colleagues from across the organisation
- A can-do problem-solving attitude
