The Lucy Faithfull Foundation (LFF) is a UK-wide charity that exists to prevent child sexual abuse and exploitation. We’re here for everyone who needs us. We protect children by working with people who pose a risk and diverting them from causing harm. We support individuals and families who have been affected by abuse. And we help professionals who work with families to create safer environments for children through delivering risk assessments, interventions, training and consultancy.

About the role and you

The Communications Coordinator will support colleagues across the team to deliver engaging, accessible and effective communications that help prevent child sexual abuse. This is a rewarding role in a fast-paced, collaborative team, which will bring a greater awareness of our work and help to deliver real impact in the prevention of offline and online child sexual abuse across the UK.

You’ll play a vital role in supporting our digital channels, campaigns and content creation - from social media and newsletters to website updates and printed materials. Here are some of the skills we’re looking for and we’re happy to support the right candidate to grow and learn on the job:

• Confident using social media to reach different audiences and be able to design multimedia content that’s engaging and on-brand.
• A strong writer and editor, able to tailor content for different platforms and audiences - from short social posts to longer-form blogs and newsletters.
• Familiar with website content management systems (like WordPress) and ideally have some experience with paid digital campaigns (e.g. Google Ads, Meta).
• Organised and proactive, able to juggle multiple tasks and support colleagues across different projects and teams.
• Comfortable using data and analytics to evaluate and improve communications.
• A team player with a positive attitude, keen to learn and contribute to our organisation’s mission.

You’ll be energetic, curious, and solutions-focused, with a good eye for detail and a passion for delivering impactful, creative communications across our platforms and channels. You’ll be comfortable working independently and collaboratively, and able to build strong relationships with colleagues and external partners.

We’re looking for a driven and detail focused professional to join our Housing Services Team as a Senior Housing and Income Officer. In this pivotal role, you’ll help ensure our housing services remain financially secure while supporting our clients to sustain their tenancies and build brighter futures. We’re looking for an experienced and creative Head of Individual Giving to lead and grow our individual giving programme.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, you’ll shape and deliver our individual giving strategy, overseeing the recruitment, retention and development of individual supporters. You’ll lead on our major appeals, including an annual national campaign to Catholic parishes across the UK.

The Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) Office role will be responsible for driving organic growth, improving online visibility, and nd optimising the performance of Muslim Aid website and other digital platforms and other digital platforms.  You will develop and implement SEO strategies that ensure our appeals, campaigns, and content are easily discoverable by our supporters and new audiences. You will play a key role in enhancing donor engagement and maximising conversions through search.

About the Role:

1. Develop and implement on-page and off-page SEO approaches to increase website visibility and traffic.
2. Carry out keyword research and competitor analysis to identify content opportunities.
3. Optimise website content, landing pages, and campaign pages for search engine performance.
4. Monitor, analyse and report on SEO performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console and SEMrush.
5. Advise content teams on SEO best practices for blogs, appeals and campaign content.
6. Conduct regular website audits to identify and resolve technical SEO issues.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. Educated to degree level in relevant subject or equivalent experience.
2. Proven experience in SEO, with a track record of improving website visibility and rankings.

About the role 

Since LRU started campaigning for rent controls in 2024, we’ve secured the support of MPs, trade unions and charities, organised large demonstrations and pushed the issue of rising rents up the political agenda.

The purpose of this role is to work alongside members and other union staff to take our campaigning for rent controls to the next level through a combination of protests, local organising, coalition building and targeting of power holders, landlords and corporations. 

How we work at LRU

You will be part of the LRU staff team alongside 12 other staff, who work with members to build the power of the union by organising, campaigning, training and supporting peer support and member solidarity actions.  We expect staff to uphold the union's values, and work together to implement collectively agreed strategies.  The staff team are accountable to the elected member Coordinating Group.

Job description

• Support members to organise ambitious and effective actions and protests in support of rent controls.

• Leading on specific projects and campaigns as part of the Cut the Rent campaign and other campaign priorities decided by LRU members.  For example, if the campaigns committee decides to target a particular developer or politician as part of the wider Cut the Rent campaign.

• Working with the Union Coordinator and members to implement and track progress on the overall Cut the Rent strategy.

• Implementing organising approaches to ensure that the Cut the Rent campaigns builds the active membership and power of the union.

• Working alongside the Union Coordinator to represent LRU in external meetings and events, and help to build LRU’s relationships with other organisations.  Supporting members to do this.

• Ensure meetings of the Campaigns Committee are effective and well run.

• Work alongside members and other other staff to ensure branches participate in the Cut the Rent campaign, and feed into strategy.

• Contribute to the collective activity of the Organising Team, including taking part in phone banking and outreach sessions and team meetings.

• As time allows, work alongside other members of the staff Organising Team to support members outside of branch areas to participate in the Cut the Rent campaign.

We are working with Dogs for Good who are seeking a new Campaigns Partner.

Dogs for Good is a registered charity dedicated to advancing the boundless possibilities of what a connection between people and dogs can enable – in making everyday life fuller, healthier, and happier for everyone involved.

The new Campaigns Partner will create simple, easy campaigns that anyone can join. Think local dog walks, coffee mornings, school talks, poster trails, library displays and quick volunteering. You will set up ways to connect using links, forms, and print. You’ll manage all this data in our system and share reports with the team. You will enjoy practical ideas, neat ways of working and tidy data.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• Experience in running public or community campaigns or events.
• Confidence with forms, spreadsheets and a database (D365 training provided)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational skills and the ability work under pressure.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels including volunteers and external partners.

The Citizen Engagement Officer at The Food Foundation will provide support for our citizen engagement work. They will work closely with the Citizen Engagement Manager, the Head of Development and Campaigns and the wider team to support our work with Young Food Ambassadors and Adult Food Ambassadors. 

The Food Ambassador programme is a well-established volunteer programme, which aims to amplify the voices of people with lived or living experience of food insecurity in The Food Foundation’s work. You will be a key member of the Citizen Engagement team and will be involved in supporting all aspects of our work, from administration, to events, to recruitment of new ambassadors.

The focus of this role is to provide administrative support to ensure back-office functions are efficient and timely. You will work across our fuel poverty and retrofit projects supporting project managers and key staff to ensure administrative tasks are completed to a high standard. The role will be varied, and some tasks will change over time as we secure further funded projects that require administrative support.

Pay and conditions.

• The role is a fixed term period of 12 months. We will consider applications for the role on a full or part-time basis, with a minimum of 22.5 hours per week.
• The salary for the role will be £28,124 per year full-time (37.5 hours per week), pro rata for part-time.
• You will be entitled to 25 days paid holiday (plus statutory holidays).

Specific responsibilities

An applicant appointed to the role will be expected to:

• To sort HES inbound post, ensuring items are passed to the correct team or staff member.
• To coordinate HES outbound post requests, collating and printing information to send to households.
• To speak to households by telephone and triage households to appropriate HES projects.
• To book home visits for advisors and retrofit assessors, keeping calendars up to date with appointments, cancellations, and amendments. Accurately completing the home visits risk assessment when required.
• To assist with householder applications for grants and other funding schemes. Contacting clients to complete forms or collate paperwork or electronic evidence.
• To record client details and follow HES team guidance documents to assess the help and support needed.
• To update our client databases and other contact management systems accurately.
• Support the internal and external training programmes, such as booking inductions for new starters, distributing training materials after training sessions and making sure evaluations are completed.
• Help provide HR support for HES staff, through processing annual leave requests or sending appraisal reminders.
• Oversee the smooth running of HES processes, such as the complaints procedure or keep track of subscription packages.
• Maintain stocks of leaflets, factsheets, freepost envelopes, and similar items, including organising printing where needed.
• Take minutes during team meetings and share any actions.

Essential attributes for this role include:

• GCSE in Maths and English or equivalent.
• Experience of providing administrative support to colleagues and external customers or partners.
• Experience of customer service.
• Ability to respond to clients in a respectful and engaging manner.
• Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work in a team and able to identify areas where their skills complement others.
• Ability to maintain admin systems independently and accurately.
• Highly organized at managing time and a busy workload.
• Skilled in use of MS office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
