Burnham and Weston Energy CIC is looking for a programme manager to nurture and grow our energy advice service.
The service is delivered by a small team of trained Home Energy Advisors who visit people in their homes to provide advice on how they can save money on their bills and make their homes warmer and healthier to live in. They also install small energy efficiency measures such as LED lights, draft proofing and radiator reflectors. Households are then referred on to further support to help them access welfare payments and grant funding for home upgrades including insulation, boiler replacement and energy efficient appliances.
The current team of 2 Home Energy Advisors have capacity to deliver around 700 home visits per year. We receive referrals from a range of local organisations. We employ a Programme Co-ordinator to manage and generate home visit referrals and bookings, provide follow up support, and manage events and communications.
From this foundation, our growth objectives for the Home Energy Savings service are to:
- Continue to raise awareness of the service amongst local organisations and the public, and increase the number of referrals and vulnerable householders who benefit.
- Grow the team of Home Energy Advisors as demand requires, to at least double the team by the end of 2025.
- Secure additional funding to support the service.
- Develop partnerships which broaden and deepen the ways we can help households, including unlocking funding and support for energy efficiency retrofit.
Role responsibilities

Manage, mentor and support our team of Home Energy Advisors and the Programme Co-ordinator, and oversee its growth.

About the Role:
As a Group Work Practitioner, you will be delivering a range of group work courses and programmes to adults affected by crime in the Thames Valley. You will be required to manage your own caseload and work in collaboration with other service delivery staff within the Thames Valley Adult Victims Service.
The Thames Valley Adult Victims Service will provide emotional and practical support to adult victims of any crime. Support will primarily be delivered through specialist group work provision, alongside online and telephone support.
You will be confident in co facilitating the delivery of group work programmes to people with a range of different needs and will have strong empathy skills. You will need to be able to talk to groups of people and will be resilient and confident with supporting others, as well as happy to work as part of a team.
You will need to have the ability to prioritise work and deal with competing or conflicting demands/ needs and interests in an organised and methodical manner. Role Responsibilities
Stakeholder communications
· Work with the Head of Communications and other internal stakeholders to author and distribute stakeholder communications via relevant channels to support partnership and programme delivery.

GFS is a feminist organisation with a mission to empower girls and young women in England and Wales to live their best lives. Girls as young as 6 tell us that they cannot be themselves. This causes problems for them and society. So, we offer an early intervention service for girls living in areas of deprivation to have the greatest impact.
This is an exciting role with an opportunity to lead the charity into the 150th Year of delivery and with a new strategy to address need. The Volunteer Administration Executive will sit within the CoppaFeel! Education Team and will work closely with the Volunteer Community Executive and the Volunteer Community Manager. They will provide administrative support volunteer recruitment and onboarding; induction and training; support and supervision; and reward and recognition.
This is a remote-first role, which means you aren’t expected to come into the office. The only days you would be required to attend the office would be for our quarterly team meetings, quarterly department meetings and in person training. Hours:
This is a full time position of 37.5 hours per week over Monday to Friday.
From 1st July 2024 we are piloting a four day working week across the whole of the UK organisation. This pilot is planned to run for 12 months, at which point a decision will be made by our Board of Trustees as to whether this will become permanent. Success of the trial relies on the organisation being able to achieve the same or improved level of impact in four working days as five, with staff experiencing either the same or improved levels of wellbeing.
During the four day week pilot, working hours for this position will be reduced to 30 hours per week, spanning Monday to Thursday, with no reduction in salary. This will be a temporary change to the contractual terms with the successful candidate. The appointed person must be prepared to increase their working hours to 37.5 hours per week if a return to a five-day working week is decided.

About the role
We’re recruiting for a highly organised, proactive and creative Communications and Engagement Officer to come and join our busy Communications and Campaigns Team and support the planning and delivery of our internal and external communications activity.
This is a key role in our busy Communications and Campaigns Team and is an opportunity for someone seeking to put their communications skills to use, to grow our profile and keep our NCT community engaged and informed.
NCT is the UK’s leading charity for pregnancy, birth, infant feeding, and early parenthood, and it’s an exciting time to join our charity, as we deliver our ambitious five-year For Every Parent strategy.
The main objectives of the role are to:
• Work collaboratively across the Communications & Campaigns Team providing effective digital, editorial, creative, and operational support
• Support the planning and delivery of our internal and external communications activity, to keep our NCT community engaged and informed, grow our profile and manage our reputation and brand.
• Support the planning and delivery of NCT events, such as our All Community Events and members Annual General Meeting (AGM).
• Reporting and evaluation: proactively support and maintain insights, analytics and trends reports, producing regular reports detailing effectiveness of communications activity and channels.
