Purpose of the Role
The Business Development Lead will play a critical role in driving the financial sustainability of Child’s i Foundation. This person will lead efforts to secure new income, grow existing partnerships, and strengthen supporter engagement. Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Income Generation
- Develop and execute the fundraising and income generation strategy across diverse streams including:

- Coordinate with UK and Uganda teams to align messaging, campaigns, and compliance.
- Provide strategic oversight of volunteer-led and community fundraising initiatives.
Team Collaboration & Leadership
- Line manage junior fundraising support if applicable.

Person Specification
Essential
- Proven experience in business development and fundraising (minimum 3 years), ideally in the social impact or NGO sector.
- Track record of securing income from trusts, foundations, or major donors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives.
- Strong relationship-building skills, from individual supporters to institutional donors.

Main duties:
· Preparation for, delivery of and pack down of drop-ins including cleaning, food and drink preparation and room layout.

· Completing relevant administrative tasks including writing case notes and sending reminders to women.
· To provide emotional (listening) support to women. This may take place within the context of group activities or one to one settings, including face-to-face appointments, phone calls, texts, emails, meetings in the community or home visits.
· To provide practical support, including supporting women with making phone calls and filling in forms, applying for grants, accompanying women to appointments and meetings, researching information, signposting and advocacy-style support.
· By drawing on your own Christian faith, to offer Christian support to women, within the Christian culture and ethos of OTF. This may take place in group or one-to-one settings.

As a Service Manager, you’ll lead a dedicated team, making sure we deliver high quality support, performance and improvements across our service whilst representing values of the organisation. You'll play a hands on role in supporting individuals facing addiction, homelessness, and complex needs guiding them towards stability, independence, and brighter futures.
Churchfield and Cherington provide supported housing for people facing addiction and homelessness. Churchfield accommodates 12 residents and offers 24/7 temporary support for those in active addiction, while Cherington accommodates 5 residents helps abstinent residents rebuild their lives and rejoin the community. The service is across 4 floors, so applicants must be able to use stairs for welfare and room checks. You’ll help ensure the service meets all contract and regulatory compliance, supporting the Head of Service with monitoring and development.

Main purpose of the job
A fantastic opportunity has emerged to join Bond’s communications team, as its new Media Adviser.
This position will add capacity to Bond’s media function to help build Bond’s media presence, support the delivery of Bond’s strategy and support the sector in championing humanitarian assistance and development that works to help those who need it the most. This post has two main purposes. Firstly, to coordinate and engage with communications and media specialists across the sector to address shared issues and achieve shared objectives together. Secondly, to maximise opportunities to achieve regular media coverage to help deliver Bond’s strategic objectives and services in appropriate sector press, in support of Bond’s strategy, positioning and reputation.

Press office (30%)
- Act as prime contact for enquiries from press or other media representatives
- Identify matters on which collective action/comment from Bond and/or the wider sector may or may not be required

- Write and sell-in collective letters, statements, opinion pieces, features, and responses to print, online and broadcast media

- Record and report media coverage of Bond and parliamentary stakeholders, using Bond’s media monitoring platform to track coverage
