Fantastic opportunity at Age UK for an experienced direct marketing professional! Based in the Loyalty Team, this Direct Marketing Manager role will be responsible for stewarding donors by delivering excellent supporter experiences on a mass level across a number of channels. Working with a range of stakeholders, you'll bring project management skills, data fluency and a strategic mindset to design journeys which deepen Age UK's relationships with our charity audiences, growing income across cash, regular giving and in memory support.

We operate a hybrid-working model, a blend of home and office working. This role will include regular days working from our London office (EC3N 2LB) - currently once a week on a Thursday and may involve occasional travel, including some overnight stays. Travel costs to the London office are the responsibility of the postholder and are not covered by the charity.

The role of the Direct Marketing Executive is a varied one. Working with different teams and suppliers, you will be supporting and delivering direct marketing campaigns across a range of media channels. The acquisition programme is an evolving one and there is change and growth happening in a lot of interesting areas at a fast pace.

As well as running day-to-day activities, the post holder will be responsible for supporting the wider acquisition team by ensuring data and supporter engagement processes are running smoothly across campaigns. Alongside this, they will ensure compliance and adherence to the most recent regulations and codes of practice is top of the agenda.

Fundraising experience is not essential for the role, but we are looking for someone with the desire and self-motivation to learn and develop, and the drive and passion to change the future for those affected by dementia. The successful candidate will be able to show this, be collaborative and enthusiastic, want to learn and develop, and be keen to get involved with the activities of the team right away.

Main duties and responsibilities of the role:

Fundraising and Marketing Campaigns

· Support with planning and delivery of a wide range of supporter engagement and fundraising activities including digital marketing and face-to-face fundraising.

· Support with the creation of content and copywriting for digital adverts.

· Social media monitoring of direct marketing activity, responding in line with brand messaging.

· Work with others in the team to conduct mystery shopping, shadowing and call listening to measure fundraising quality and ensure compliance.

· Liaise with designers, printers, mailing houses, agencies, and fulfilment houses.

· Support the day-to-day management of fundraising agencies and suppliers, ensuring relationships are effective and productive.

· Assist in the production and delivery of motivating fundraiser training that ensures quality, compliant fundraising.

· Support in recommendations for change and refinement across the direct marketing programme.

Finance & Reporting

· Daily campaign tracking and reporting.

· Administer the recording, reconciliation, and processing of invoices.

Team and Programme Support

· Tracking and evaluating competitor and industry trends, collaborating with the other Direct Marketing Executive to provide recommendations to the wider team for potential improvements and testing opportunities.

· Keep up to date on the latest developments within the sector relating to best practice in fundraising.

Background and purpose

We are the only UK-wide charity for everyone affected by a genetic and acquired bleeding disorder. 

At the Haemophilia Society (THS) we want to empower everyone affected by a bleeding disorder to live life to the full, whatever your stage in life.

One in 2,000 men, women and children in the UK have a diagnosed bleeding disorder, which are a group of conditions, including haemophilia and von Willebrand disorder, that result when the blood cannot clot properly. 

As many as a third of bleeding disorder diagnoses have no known family history and can be the result of a random gene mutation. This means a bleeding disorder diagnosis can come completely out of the blue.

THS brings together people with bleeding disorders and their families to share experiences and understand more about how to live well with a bleeding disorder. Together, we can all make a difference.

About the role

We’re incredibly lucky to have a generous and dedicated community who are always looking for new ways to support our work. The Senior Individual Giving Officer will play a pivotal role in driving unrestricted income growth from individual supporters at Independent Age. You will bring experience in managing the planning, budget, set-up, delivery and reporting and analysis of integrated multi-channel digital, direct and offline campaigns and activities that meet and exceed KPI’s. Digital expertise and experience working in a test and learn environment are also key. You’ll have an agile mindset, with the ability to work both proactively and reactively depending on changing priorities.  You must have a passion for, and affinity with, Independent Age’s cause.

The Events & Fundraising Manager will work at the heart of our public events programme, helping to organise fundraising walks and other events across London and the South East, and raising funds to support the provision of free legal advice. Our events include the London Legal Walk -- an annual event which raises over £1 million each year -- regional Legal Walk events, and other fundraising events such as the Great Legal Quiz and the Great Legal Bake. LLST also purchases places for third party events such as the London Marathon, Brighton Marathon, and Big Half. We also raise money through individual and corporate donations.

The Events & Fundraising Manager's principal role is to manage these events and promote our fundraising in support of free legal advice charities in London and the South East. Your main duties and responsibilities will include the following:

APAP provides direct, face to face support for people in housing crisis. We are the only service of our kind in the local area, offering immediate respite and casework support for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness. 

APAP day centre service is currently open three days per-week offering respite, food and somewhere safe to be for anyone facing street homelessness. It provides advocacy and casework services to those who are vulnerably housed or homeless, supporting them to address their individual crisis and the underlying causes. We also provide a small year round night shelter provision. 

The Community Fundraising and Partnerships Coordinator will be responsible for developing and nurturing relationships within the local community to support APAP’s fundraising efforts, including schools, local businesses, faith and community groups. A key feature of this role will be developing increased year-round community engagement and fundraising, leading into the planning and delivery of at least one annual fundraising campaign. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to engage directly with stakeholders to build strong partnerships, whilst contributing strategically to the growth of the charity's fundraising efforts. 

Learning with Parents supports families to have positive learning interactions together and leads the sector to learn what works in tackling inequality. In partnership with over 160 primary schools, we support families across the UK to enjoy learning together at home. Families are motivated to sustain and enjoy frequent and positive interactions at home.

We are working to improve parental engagement across the sector, by producing evidence of parents’ impact and generating insights into how schools can best support them. Learnings are disseminated through the Parental Engagement Forum and amplified through the Fair Education Alliance.

About the Role

There are 1.4 million primary-aged children growing up in poverty in the UK, and we are currently only working with a fraction of them. • Engage directly with potential partners to create meaningful collaborations that drive shared impact

• Craft compelling materials and proposals for partnership opportunities that showcase Learning with Parents’ unique value proposition

• Write and submit applications to corporate foundations, trusts and other grant making bodies

• Support representation of Learning with Parents at external fundraising, building our profile and expanding our network

Stewardship

• Feed into the design and implementation of our stewardship strategy to create deeper connections between supporters and our work

• Take ownership of managing and stewarding your own pool of corporate partners, trusts and foundations and other donors

• Assist with fulfilling donor due diligence requirements and maintaining compliant records

• Create compelling update reports and donor communications that bring our impact to life for supporter

We are seeking a compassionate and organised Fundraising Administrator to support our individual giving and legacy fundraising programmes, helping us to deliver excellent donor care and lasting impact.

About the Role

This is a rewarding opportunity to play a vital part in growing our fundraising and supporting people in our community when they need us most. You will provide efficient administration across our individual giving streams, including regular giving, lottery and in-memory donations, while playing a key role in legacy administration.

About You

We are looking for someone proactive, detail-focused and motivated by the difference fundraising makes. You do not need direct legacy fundraising experience, but you should bring strong administrative skills and an interest in developing in this area.

You will have:

· Experience in fundraising administration, ideally in an Individual Giving or Legacy role

· Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage sensitive information

· Strong communication skills with empathy, professionalism and patience

· Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

· Experience using a CRM/database (Raiser’s Edge or similar preferred)

This is an exceptional opportunity to be at the heart of a truly exciting heritage restoration project to restore, renew and open up to new audiences, a nationally-important building in a thriving but economically and socially challenged central London neighbourhood.

St Peter’s Walworth is Sir John Soane’s first London church and one of only four Grade 1-listed buildings in Southwark. We have secured a major grant of £438,000 from the National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF) for Development Phase funding for the “Building Beyond: Soane Reimagined” project with a view to work towards a Delivery phase grant of £3.1m. The Development Phase is now underway, with the first major procurements completed, and is set to run for 18 months, at which point a Delivery Round application will be submitted to activate a Delivery Phase. Design development needs to be completed to RIBA Stage 3, planning, Faculty and consents need to be in place and all partnership funding raised or pledged. Our fundraising target is challenging – we will need to secure more than £1m with a focus on trusts and foundations, alongside strategic partnerships. We have already engaged a consultant to develop our Fundraising Strategy and Case for Support, and that consultant will be able to work alongside the Fundraising Manager to get them off to a strong start.

The Church has excellent local networks, an active steering group including external professional expertise, a progressive and outward-facing Rector with a strong social media following, and a strong relationship with potential donors and partners with funds already secured from Southwark Council. The Head of Fundraising and Communications plays a pivotal role in shaping and driving Bowel Research UK's fundraising strategies and audience engagement initiatives.

This position is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive fundraising strategies, growing the charity’s supporter base and income, building up new and under-developed income streams and communicating effectively with their audiences to expand their reach, and encourage financial and non-financial support to deliver the organisations mission.

You will have the autonomy and scope to drive elements of your work and take ownership of your own objectives. You will be required to collaborate on decisions to shape and deliver initiatives, programmes and processes as required for each area of income delivery. 

Key to the success of this role is a strong understanding of individual giving fundraising – an area that is underdeveloped at Bowel Research UK. This role blends the strategic oversight and leadership of a Head of Fundraising role, with the hands-on expertise of an IG fundraiser.

The successful candidate for this role will be someone who has already operated at a senior level within a charity such as at Senior Manager level, or Head of in a specific income stream. Having a background or significant experience in delivery across individual giving is also vital due to the importance of that income stream to Bowel Research UK – the post holder will be the organisations expert in IG.

Main purpose of post
An Appeal Support Officer is required to support the activity associated with a
major appeal for the charity. The appeal will raise £1.85m enabling a step change
in our support of Weston Park Cancer Centre.
Reporting to and working closely with our Senior Major Donor & Philanthropy
Manager, Appeal Consultant and Head of Fundraising, you will support the
coordination of appeal activity planning, as we undertake the public phase of the
appeal.
Supporting our established Appeal Board, you will coordinate communications,
prospecting and stewardship management of our major donor growth
programme and portfolio, as we build up both our private fundraising phase and
undertake our wider public fundraising activity.
You will help bring together a range of different public fundraising activities
planned for the next 12 months.

Key Responsibilities
 Support management of the appeal prospects portfolio, including research,
due diligence checks, profiles development and relationship management
plans.
 Coordinate and manage the appeal plan, including all facets of both the
private and public fundraising phases, liaising with appointed agencies and
contractors.
 Directly support the Appeal Board with communication, prospecting and
donor management planning, under the direct supervision and guidance of

• Support the administration around our In Memory supporters doing flagship events such as Treks & Only the Brave etc in creating mail merges and sending out In Memory collateral.

• Experience in admin, fundraising, or customer service (charity experience is a bonus!).
• Excellent communication skills – confident on the phone, in person, and in writing.
• Super-organised with a keen eye for detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks.
