The Senior Immigration Solicitor (Violence Against Women and Girls & Migrant Justice) will lead on complex immigration casework and strategic legal interventions, with a particular focus on supporting Black, minoritised, and migrant (BMM) women affected by violence against women and girls (VAWG), especially those with insecure immigration status or no recourse to public funds (NRPF).

This is a senior role requiring a high degree of professional autonomy, decision-making, and initiative. While the postholder will be formally accountable to the Head of Community Engagement and Legal Services, they will operate with minimal day-to-day supervision, taking a lead in shaping casework strategy, driving systemic change, and strengthening SBS’s legal offer.

Battersea has recently approved a new 5-year organisational strategy to deliver an even greater impact for dogs and cats through our Prevent, Support and Care activity. SLRA is a well-established local migrant support organisation working with and for refugees, asylum seekers and other migrants who are at risk or in crisis as a result of immigration issues. We provide specialist immigration advice (SLRA is regulated to provide advice at IAA Level 3) as well as a broad range of practical, social and therapeutic support services. SLRA also campaigns for a fairer immigration system, involving local people with lived experience in influencing local and national policy and practice.

We are looking for a Senior Immigration Advisor and/or Solicitor who will be responsible for the delivery of immigration advice and casework to service users in a wide range of circumstances, although most will be rough sleepers. The work will be varied and will cover a broad range of asylum and immigration issues, along with the opportunity to support advocacy work and to improve access to justice.

DUTIES OF THE POST

This is a full-time, fixed term for 30 months. The position is fixed term due to being part of a government funded innovation programme, however there may be potential to continue in employment with the company partner following the completion of the KTP.

The duties of the post will include:

• Co-producing and implementing data-led impact evaluation tools and a community needs assessment framework, grounded in the Theory of Change model, to support improved mental health outcomes.

• Developing and piloting tools for data collection, analysis, and reporting—such as Power BI dashboards, stakeholder feedback mechanisms, and longitudinal tracking systems.

• Leading the creation of a scalable follow-up review tool to track long-term service user outcomes and support strategic decision-making.

• Producing high-quality research outputs, including academic publications, conference presentations, and a final project report.

We’re now looking for a Programme Coordinator to help us deliver our high-quality programmes and build on our progress. As a Senior Employment Advisor, you will sit within the Employment & Careers team, supporting the direct delivery of our employment service by recruiting beneficiaries through outreach and supporting them to secure or progress in employment.

We are seeking a qualified Specialist ISVA (Independent Sexual Violence Advisor) to join our Advocacy team at Respond. The role includes providing pro-active emotional, practical and advocacy support for adults with learning disabilities and autistic people with complex or multiple needs who have experienced any form of sexual violence and are engaging, (or considering engaging) with the criminal justice system. The ISVA will work across London to provide non-judgmental, trauma-informed emotional support, working in partnership with other London sexual violence support services. 

Our ideal candidate will have experience in the ISVA role as well as a friendly and relational approach to working with clients.  You will have the ability to build trusting relationships, work in an empowering and inclusive way and support clients to heal following sexual abuse and develop coping capacity. You will be a self-motivated individual who will engage with a wider range of people who have experience sexual violence, and other barriers to justice.

Main purpose of post
To support accurate financial administration and effective donor data
management. This role is vital to ensuring that income from donations is
processed promptly and accurately, enabling timely thank-you
communications and excellent donor stewardship. The role will also undertake
data work to enable the charity to manage its data effectively, monitor its
service delivery and impact.

Key responsibilities
Donation Processing & Stewardship Support
 Accurately process all cash and cheque income batches into our
fundraising CRM and finance systems.
 Process and code incoming donations from a range of sources, including
online platforms (e.g JustGiving, Raisely, PayPal, Stripe, CAF, Enthuse).
 Ensure all funds are banked in a timely manner and act as the main
contact for arranging cash collections.
 Maintain and update the donor database with accurate donation records
and supporter details.
 Process supporter Gift Aid declarations and assist with submission of Gift
Aid claims.
 Liaise with the fundraising and communications teams to ensure donors
are thanked promptly and appropriately.
 Flag anomalies or issues with donation data to relevant staff to maintain
high standards of data quality and supporter care.

Finance Administration
 Support the monthly reconciliation of income between finance systems.
 Support the Finance Executives with processing purchase invoices, staff
expenses, and supplier payments in accordance with charity procedures,
as needed.
 Support monthly and quarterly finance reports and audits as required.

Data Management
 Ensure high standards of accuracy and integrity of CRMs and finance
databases through regular data cleaning and maintenance.
 Help compile reports for funders, internal monitoring, and annual
accounts.
 Assist the Data and Systems Manager with reviewing existing systems
and processes to identify opportunities for improvements.
 Follow GDPR and internal data handling policies when processing
supporter and financial information.

About CoramIAC

CoramIAC is a Voluntary Adoption Agency which specialises in Intercountry Adoptions. This position is a member of the Leadership Team and will have a pivotal role in leading, developing and managing a range of operational adoptions services, ensuring that they meet the needs of children we are providing services for, including all legal, policies, guidelines, and internal standards. They will play a key role in helping to develop new services and where appropriate will take operational control of these.

About the Role

The Head of Service post holder will take the lead responsibility (under Ofsted registration) as the Registered Manager of CoramIAC. They will ensure the ongoing delivery of an outstanding VAA that is fully compliant with national minimum standards and regulations; and ensuring high quality adoption support and a sufficient supply of adopters that reflects the diversity of the countries they are adopting from.

Applying to adopt in the UK is open to anyone already in the process with CoramIAC but we do not actively recruit domestic adopters like other VAAs. Approved Intercountry Adopters may however request to change their approval advice to the UK if they are considered a suitable match for children available and waiting for permanence through Adoption in the UK.

CoramIAC predominantly serve prospective adopters from the global majority and as such recruit and train a highly diverse and skilled group of adopters to enable the best outcomes for children whilst also offering adopter and sector diversity for potentially harder to place children. This includes family groups and older children. Our offer to RAAs via our domestic program therefore delivers families for children who often wait the longest in the care system.

Please note, the successful candidate must have a degree in Social Work or equivalent. They must also have significant post qualification experience at a Team Manager level in Adoption services, and a demonstrated passion for working in the adoption, children and families sector.

We are looking for a new Development Officer – someone who brings a passion for hospice care and wants to play a part of driving forward relationship-based fundraising at The Hospice of St Francis.

This is an exciting role for someone who is ambitious about developing new fundraising opportunities and wants to play an important role in growing income at the Hospice.

The opportunity......

You will play a central role in growing income across the Hospice and driving forward new, relationship-based approaches to fundraising.

With a focus on Major Donors and Trusts and Foundations you will personally identify, develop and manage relationships, with a focus on £5-25k+ opportunities.

 You will develop a new approach for managing and fundraising from small trusts and have the opportunity to learn and grow through working with the AD for Development on larger opportunities.

You’ll bring creativity and a results-oriented outlook, contributing to the wider success of fundraising at the Hospice.

The must haves.....

• Fundraising Success: At least three years’ experience operating in a Trusts and Foundations role (or relevant transferable skills) and a track record of personally securing and stewarding five figure gifts
• Proposition development: Creative in outlook and with experience of developing donor-centric proposals and reports
• Portfolio management: Knowledgeable in developing and managing a portfolio, and key prospect management tools and systems
• Data management: Experienced CRM user and with working knowledge of Data Protection Laws

The it would be nice to have:

• Institutional Funding or Major Gifts experience: Experience of fundraising from institutions or major donors
• Line management: Of staff or volunteers
• Event management: Experience of running stewardship and cultivation events
• Hospice fundraising: Experience of fundraising in a Hospice setting
• Qualification: A relevant fundraising qualification, from CIOF or other

We’re looking for someone with admin experience to be part of our community and events fundraising team. Along with another executive, you’ll be helping our existing and new supporters to raise funds and supporting the other members of the community and events team.

Macular disease is the biggest cause of sight loss in the UK, with around 300 people diagnosed every day. The Macular Society is the only charity in the UK beating the fear and isolation of macular disease with world class research, and the best advice and support.

You’ll be one of two executives:

· Helping the community and events team to raise funds from our supporters

· Giving supporters in our communities the best stewardship while they are fundraising, and encouraging them to fundraise further

· Supporting all members of the community and events team

· Adhering to current fundraising regulations and best practice

· Keeping excellent records

Our ideal candidate will have:

· Experience of working in a fundraising environment or similar

· Good IT skills and experience of using digital media

· A good head for numbers

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· A passion for working with people to achieve great results
