You will coordinate the Social Homes for Manchester campaign coalition and implement our strategy for strengthening the housing justice movement in Manchester and across GM. You will lead on organising community workshops and events raising awareness about campaign asks and the Manchester Local Plan consultation process.

You will convene workshops and events focused on building the capacity of a network of ward-based community coalitions to understand housing and planning policy and process. This might include how local development applications are compiled, submitted, decided on; and strategies for ensuring appropriate levels of Section 106 contributions and social rent homes are included in development applications.

You will work with the Social Homes for Manchester Steering Group and community leaders to provide coordination support to at least one neighbourhood planning process and efforts to encourage community-led housing innovations.

You will create a new set of webpages focused on provision of transparent and accessible information on housing need, upcoming developments, and performance against housing targets at ward and city scale.

• You have excellent relationship building skills and experience of working with disadvantaged groups of people to take collective action to achieve positive outcomes for people and communities.
• You enjoy organising activities and events in response to community priorities, interests and needs.

• You have a basic understanding of housing development and planning application and approval processes and a good understanding of the rationale for increased delivery of sustainable social rent homes.
• You have some experience of web development or website administration and editing combined with the ability to engage digitally excluded groups of people in understanding technical information.

About Social Homes for Manchester (SH4M)

• SH4M is a coalition of community associations, charities, think tanks, academics and social justice organisations focused on accelerating the number of social homes that are created in Manchester by 2030 and ensuring this is done in an environmentally sustainable way.
• Much of our work over the last two years has focused on generating an evidence base, influencing strategy, and set of relationships to facilitate influence, including through convening the Manchester Social Housing Commission which concludes in December 2025.
• SH4M is now focused on implementing a two-year strategy including building a network of citizen coalitions across the city of Manchester with the information and capacity to hold decision-makers and providers to account for accelerated delivery of sustainable social rent homes. This includes taking forward the findings of the Manchester Social Housing Commission.

The Billings Support Administrator will be responsible for supporting the essential work of billing and credit control. You will work closely with the Billings & Contracts Officer to review processes and identify areas of improvement. The Role
This role will take day-to-day ownership of key operational processes across Cosmic’s NICU and PICU support, ensuring smooth delivery, strong relationships across hospital teams, and the continual improvement of internal systems.

The Operations Executive plays a central role in keeping Cosmic running smoothly across both hospital sites and Cosmic HQ. This is a hands-on and varied position, combining operational coordination, ownership of key processes, and direct support to Cosmic’s Senior Leadership Team. This role will be pivotal in connecting Cosmic with the families we support and our NHS units across both hospital sites, by supporting our service delivery and fostering continuous engagement.
You will be responsible for maintaining high operational standards across our service delivery programmes, ensuring our units are well-stocked and supported, coordinating fulfilment activities, improving our internal systems, and helping strengthen Cosmic’s visibility within the hospitals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operational Coordination Across PICU and NICU
• Act as a consistent and trusted operational contact for unit staff across St Mary’s and Queen Charlotte’s.
• Enhance Cosmic’s visibility in the units, ensuring noticeboards, communications and information materials are up to date and on brand.
• Lead end-to-end coordination of operational tasks across both sites, ensuring high standards and reliable follow-through.

2. Nutri-Care Campaign  
• Coordinate Nutri-Care food deliveries to Cosmic HQ and our units.
• Distribute food items to NICU and PICU units at St. Mary’s Hospital and NICU at Queen Charlotte’s.
• Oversee stock storage at St Mary’s, Cosmic House, and Queen Charlotte’s, maintaining clear logs and ensuring resources never run low.
• Review family and staff feedback from the Nutri-Care surveys and share themes with the Service Delivery Manager to support service improvement.

3. NICU Welcome Bags & Corporate Volunteering
• Take ownership of stock levels for NICU Welcome Bags across both units, ensuring they are always ready for families.
• Work with NICU teams to develop practical solutions that ensure every family receives a Welcome Bag within 24 hours of arrival on the units, monitoring consistency and resolving any barriers.
• Prepare materials and coordinate logistics for corporate volunteer packing sessions, acting as the Cosmic lead on the day.

4. Stock & Supplies Management 
• Maintain regular routines to check, restock and record Cosmic items on PICU and NICU units.
• Oversee stock of cereals, tea, coffee and other essential items that support families and staff.
• Maintain accurate inventory logs and recommend improvements to stock processes.

5. Office & Systems Management
• Manage routine supplier relationships and monitor service standards.
• Process and code invoices for approval and support compliance tasks such as health and safety checks, first aid and fire safety.
• Maintain organised shared drives and digital filing systems, ensuring they are up to date and easy to navigate.
• Ensure all Cosmic office equipment is functional and well-maintained.
• Coordinating diary bookings and logistics for meetings, events, and training.
• Overseeing health and safety compliance (first aid, fire safety checks).
• Support onboarding and leaver processes for new staff and volunteers.
• Manage Cosmic’s relationship with the NHS Post Room, overseeing all incoming and outgoing mail.
• Coordinate logistics for meetings, events and staff activities, ensuring information flows efficiently.

6. Support to the Senior Leadership Team
• Provide high-quality executive support including diary management, meeting coordination and travel arrangements.
• Prepare briefing and meeting notes, collate information for internal or trustee papers, and support follow-up on key actions.
• Undertake small operational projects or research tasks with minimal supervision.

7. Continuous Improvement
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, stock processes and internal systems across the charity.
• Recommend changes to the CEO, COO and support implementation.
• Champion consistency and high standards across Cosmic’s operations.

Alongside this, we have been developing a new AI-powered tool to help kinship carers get the information they need quickly and accurately, 24/7. This role will lead the evolution of these digital products, ensuring they are safe, ethical, data-driven and continuously improved to meet the needs of kinship carers.

You’ll play a key role in the Department for Education funded national Training and Support Service, helping kinship carers easily access and book high-quality training. You’ll also oversee the content design in collaboration with internal and external subject experts and kinship carers themselves.

You’ll champion inclusive, accessible and co-produced design, helping Kinship use digital to deliver more impact, insight and empowerment for kinship families.

Battersea is currently undergoing a significant transformation programme (known as Launchpad) to deliver real change in the way we work with, utilise, and learn from data. The first phase of the programme, to implement Salesforce Lightning for the Animal Operations and Clinic side of our business, went live in Summer 2025.

This role, working with CRM support colleagues, will be responsible for the ongoing support and maintenance needs for the new Salesforce Lightning CRM and other related applications as they are launched. They will work closely with system users to efficiently resolve tickets received to the helpdesk and proactively investigate and troubleshoot issues to provide root cause.

We have a unique opportunity to join Oasis Hub Lord’s Hill as part of our work with students and families. This role will create a real impact in the Lord’s Hill Community by working alongside our Academy colleagues to support families of Oasis students and the wider community. Helping more families to engage with support and provision, including the therapeutic space of our city farm.

You’ll need to be an effective communicator and ready to work with some of our hardest to reach families with drive and initiative. You will be working with our care experienced young people between the ages of 18-25. You will support young people in their own accommodation and provide support, so that they feel more valued and secure, and ready to take the next steps.   

For part of this role, you will assess readiness for living independently.   You’ll provide support in developing their skills and confidence to live independently and transfer the young person to a permanent tenancy. This will include promoting healthy relationships with families, partners, peers etc, accessing hobbies and extra-curricular activities as well as managing finances and budgeting. 

You will work with and manage 1 Support Worker.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Attend relevant meetings regarding clients or with stakeholders/commissioners, where required 

• Reports and data will need to be run and provided where required 

• Ensure staff are supporting clients to address all issues i.e, substance use, mental health or debt and including improving practical skills in areas such as budgeting, shopping, cooking, housework, laundry, health & hygiene 

• Work with external partners to maximise the opportunities available to clients so that they can resettle in the community 

• Help to maintain a welcoming, safe environment, identifying and minimising all potential risks to users of the premises, the organisation and property 

• Carry out quality checks on client records to ensure organisational standards are upheld 

• You will work flexibly across all areas of operation where required and prior notice given 

• You will be part of the on–call service

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and energetic supervisor or team leader to take up a full-time role within our organisation as a Project Supervisor to be part of our small and dedicated team. The role will be based in Southwark as well as potential for wider London working as you will be part several innovative housing projects in London supporting vulnerable households to sustain their tenancies. As well as a team line manager, you will be maintaining and developing partnership with the Council’s housing officers, solicitors, landlords, community services, social prescribers, and mental health support workers to ensure tailored support can be offered for each client. The objectives of these programmes are to avoid evictions, sustain tenancies, increase employment opportunities, improve wellbeing, and increase educational outcomes. About you   

We are seeking an experienced and motivated professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in staff management and project leadership, knowledge of housing polices, and with proven experience working with individuals who have complex needs. 

You will be responsible for managing and developing partnerships, supporting data collection for reports and monitoring, and contributing to quality assurance processes. In addition, you will hold a small caseload, providing direct, holistic support to individuals as part of your role. 

We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic, self-motivated, and highly organised. You should be confident working independently, with a genuine passion for driving positive change. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to provide holistic support and think creatively to find solutions. 

You will have:

• Experience leading and supervising other support workers, or volunteers, including delegation, training, and mentoring. 

• Ability to monitoring staff performance, and ensuring continuous professional development 

• Demonstratable experience of building and maintaining partnerships with stakeholders, statutory and  community organisations
