We are looking for an experienced and passionate Digital Fundraising Officer, with a specialism in Individual Giving and digital fundraising campaigns, to join our busy and dynamic fundraising team. This new role will be involved in the planning and delivery of all aspects of our £1m+ Individual Giving portfolio, with a particular focus on growing our supporter base through digital channels. This is a creative role with scope to work on campaigns from concept to results analysis, using channels including email, social media, telephone and direct mail.

A fundraiser, partnerships guru, and consummate relationship builder. Someone who can support the CEO to identify, go after, and convert opportunities which sustain and scale the charity’s impact. The RSPCA York, Harrogate & District Branch is seeking to increase its fundraising activity in order to secure the funding neccessary to completely rebuild the York Animal Home. We are looking to bring on an experienced individual to design, launch and lead our capital campaign and raise the remaining funds needed to complete the project.

The Capital Campaign Lead will take overall responsibility for planning, leading and delivering the £5m capital appeal over the next few years. This includes developing the case for support, managing campaign phases, cultivating major donors and funders, and ensuring strong governance, reporting and stewardship throughout the campaign.

The York Animal Home was built in 1980 and no longer meets modern welfare, licensing or operational requirements. Demand for our services is rising sharply, while the complexity and scale of cases continues to grow. We are at the point where our current animal facilities do meet our needs and have been working to redevelop the site and build new modern facilities.

We have received planning permission and are in the process of finalising the designs prior to construction beginning this year.

Lia’s Wings is the only charity delivering life-saving aeromedical transfers by plane both within the UK and overseas. We make sure babies and children receive the vital treatment they need, no matter where they are. We are seeking an experienced Fundraising Manager to join our team on a fixed-term 14 month contract (maternity cover). 

The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for the management and delivery of our challenge events, special events and community fundraising streams, but the post-holder would also be expected to regularly support activities across our corporate partnerships, individual giving and Family Fundraising streams of fundraising too.

You will play a key role in developing these income streams, engaging our supporters to motivate them to fundraise for Lia’s Wings and creating initiatives that introduce new people to our organisation.

Key Responsibilities: 

Event Management

• To manage our Challenge, Community and Special Event fundraising streams to achieve set targets. This will include management of challenge events such as our flagship event, Ride for Lia, as well as London Landmarks and the Royal Parks Half Marathon.
• To manage our annual Air Ambulance Mingle and develop existing plans for a new Christmas Carol Concert

Corporate and Community Partnerships

• To assume account management of our smaller corporate and community partnerships (who are primarily engaged with us through event fundraising)
• To support the Director of Fundraising in the delivery of our larger corporate and community partnerships.

Supporter Engagement

• To effectively steward fundraisers to ensure an excellent supporter experience (resulting in year-on-year participation), including appropriate thanking and recognition, reporting and feedback on outcomes of events.
• To build strong relationships with existing and new stakeholders, including event committees and our Board of Trustees.

Essential Experience and Skills

• A minimum of three years proven experience in a fundraising role, preferably in a challenge, community or special events fundraising role.
• Demonstrable ability to build relationships and effectively steward and support fundraisers to exceed their targets.
• Experience in writing and developing stewardship plans and in creating engaging fundraising collateral to support donors and supporters of all levels.
• Demonstrable experience in developing and managing fundraising evens from design to completion, including logistical planning, budgeting, forecasting, stewardship and evaluation.

Job Purpose:

The Marketing & Fundraising Manager will play a key role in developing and implementing St Hilda’s East’s marketing strategy and will take the lead in organising fundraising events and securing funds from individual donations, and rental and room hire income.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Fundraising CRM Manager to lead the development and management of our fundraising CRM and donor engagement systems. This is a pivotal role at an exciting moment of growth, ensuring our CRM is used strategically to strengthen donor relationships, improve fundraising performance, and support income growth across our international network.

Working closely with the Fundraising Director, you will oversee day‑to‑day CRM management, donor stewardship (up to £5,000), prospect research, reporting, and support for campaigns and events. You will also provide insight and data that underpin high‑value fundraising.

Key Responsibilities

CRM Management & Development

• Lead the daily administration and development of the fundraising CRM (Salesforce or Beacon).
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency and compliance with data protection standards.
• Build donor segmentation, pipelines and automated journeys to improve retention and engagement.
• Produce regular insight reports, dashboards and monthly financial tracking.
• Work with the Digital Officer to drive system improvements and train colleagues in CRM use.

Donor Stewardship & Fundraising Support

• Deliver excellent donor care, ensuring timely acknowledgements, updates and impact reporting.
• Steward donors giving up to £5,000, nurturing long‑term relationships.
• Support the delivery of digital, regular giving and peer‑to‑peer fundraising campaigns.
• Develop donor journeys that build loyalty to the St John mission.
• Collaborate with Communications to share compelling stories of impact.

Prospect Research & Reporting

• Research and profile new donors, trusts and partners across the global St John network.
• Provide monthly income and pledge tracking reports.
• Manage the fundraising pipeline, forecasting income and identifying growth opportunities.
• Prepare briefings and reports to support high‑value donor engagement.

Donor Growth & Global Engagement

• Develop strategies to grow the donor base, with a focus on gifts under £5,000.
• Use global awareness moments (e.g. St John Day, World First Aid Day) to acquire and retain supporters.
• Evaluate campaign performance and recommend improvements.

Support for High‑Value Fundraising

• Provide data insights, research and CRM support for major donor cultivation.
• Prepare donor histories and background briefings for senior fundraising activity.
• Ensure the CRM effectively supports high‑value relationship management.

Person Specification

Essential

• At least 3 years’ experience in fundraising, CRM management or donor development.
• Proven experience managing a fundraising CRM (Salesforce, Beacon or similar).
• Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to translate data into insight.
• Understanding of donor care and stewardship principles.
• Experience cultivating and securing gifts from individual donors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a donor‑centred approach.
• Highly organised, detail‑focused and confident managing multiple priorities.
• Collaborative, proactive and committed to St John’s humanitarian mission.

Desirable

• Experience in an international NGO or federated charity.
• Knowledge of GDPR and data protection best practice.
• Familiarity with digital fundraising tools and online giving platforms.

2025 was a huge year for Scotland, Crisis’ campaign to introduce new laws to prevent homelessness was a success. Scotland now has one of the most progressive homelessness systems in the world. But rising living costs, shortages of affordable homes and a lack of support are pushing more people towards poverty and homelessness. It doesn’t have to be this way.

We are now looking for a Fundraising Manager to focus on building and shaping Crisis’s high value income in Scotland in both corporate partnerships and philanthropy. With a strategic focus, you will connect high value partners and supporters our mission in ways that are ethical, person-centred and rooted in dignity and respect for people experiencing homelessness.

You will be responsible for proactively identifying, cultivating and converting a pipeline of high value prospects across corporate and philanthropy, as well as managing a portfolio of high value individuals and providing a brilliant stewardship experience. We have ambitions to significantly increase the high value income we generate in Scotland and will lead on the development of a growth strategy to help us realise these ambitions.

Working collaboratively across Crisis, you’ll champion inclusive, values-led ways of working and use insight, influence and partnership to help drive lasting impact in our work to end homelessness.

About you

We are looking for:

• A highly motivated, proactive relationship builder with a strong track record of growing regional high-value income and spotting the most promising opportunities
• An ambitious, confident, values-led fundraiser has experience leading direct (high value) income generation within Scotland
• Strong experience in identifying, cultivating and winning regional and devolved nations corporate partnerships and delivering brilliant stewardship to a portfolio of philanthropists.
• Proven ability to develop compelling regional or devolved-nations cases for support and high-value propositions
• Strategic and outcome-focused, with the credibility and drive to demonstrate the income potential of high value income in Scotland and build a plan to realise it.
