This is a new role working within Battersea’s Income Generation department to develop and deliver the campaign plan for a £4-6million pound capital fundraising appeal.
One of the key pillars of Battersea’s current strategy is to ensure that we continue to provide expert care for all the dogs and cats that come through our gates. One of the ways in which we do this is by investing in our facilities to ensure that they continue to meet the changing needs of the animals we care for. This fundraising campaign will help to achieve that aim.

You will work with teams across Battersea to develop a comprehensive plan for the campaign and co-ordinate the work of multiple specialist teams to deliver the campaign on a day-to-day basis. You will also be responsible for developing a clear governance structure for the campaign, and ensuring all stakeholders are kept informed of progress. You will also oversee and track progress of a series of internal process improvements that support the running of the campaign.

Please note, this is not a direct fundraising position, but will support our fundraising teams in delivering ambitious financial targets for the appeal.

The Fundraising/Partnership Development Officer will

· Manage the development and implementation of Friendship’s fundraising, partnership development, and partnership management activities in the UK

· Build a fundraising strategy that incorporates a range of activities and income streams, together with the Friendship International UK Board

· Develop a concrete action plan and core indicators or targets for fundraising in the UK on quarterly basis, which is to be presented to the Friendship International UK Board.

· Foster relationships with supporters, groups and organisations that fund or have the potential to fund Friendship International UK and be the first point of contact,

· Update the UK section of Friendship’s website with information related to fundraising and other information

We're looking for an Individual Giving Manager who will lead the charity’s individual giving programme during an exciting period of growth. You will deliver key activities aimed at building our profile, donor base and unrestricted income in line with our strategic objectives. This will be achieved through the delivery and strategic development of warm and cold cash acquisition, a face-to-face regular giving programme, effective retention strategies and initiatives that will build our contactable base of supporters. ABOUT THE ROLE

Currently corporate income at Trinity averages £150-200k per annum and incorporates a small local business supporters programme, corporate sponsorship of hospice events or services and several larger corporate partnerships. The Corporate Partnerships Manager is a newly created role and they will work to increase income from corporate and business partners over the next 3 years. They will develop a strategy for growing this important area of fundraising and execute it. 

The successful candidate will build on what has been achieved to date to enhance our corporate offering, which will include engaging more businesses through the Local Business Heroes programme, working in partnership with other departments of the hospice to facilitate corporate volunteering and visits. They will work collaboratively with the Events Coordinator and Head of Philanthropy and Events to secure sponsorship for key events such as the RTH Gala Dinner, Dinner and Quiz, Opera at the Hospice, Light up A Life and others underpinning their financial success. In addition, we will look to the new Manager to enhance and develop our current offering. The Legacy Executive plays pivotal role in delivering exceptional fundraising services for our client Royal Trinity Hospice. You will be responsible for delivering excellent stewardship and supporter care – both of which are essential to achieving Trinity’s (and Compton’s) fundraising objectives.

You will inspire and support individuals in engaging with Legacy Giving, developing relationships that encourage a gift in their Will to Trinity. You will support in the development and management of legacy focused campaigns and products as well as exploring new opportunities for income growth.

We’re looking for an ambitious and strategic Head of Fundraising to lead the acceleration of Lift Schools’ comprehensive fundraising strategy and scale a proven fundraising income stream that supports our ambitious mission and long-term growth.

This newly created central role offers a unique opportunity to shape and scale how Lift Schools attracts philanthropic support, builds strong partnerships and unlocks new income streams to transform education for thousands of children. You’ll lead the delivery of a high-impact fundraising strategy, and develop a fundraising and major gifts pipeline with major donors, trusts, foundations and corporate partners.

You’ll be joining an organisation with philanthropic momentum, supported by a compelling strategy which you would have the opportunity to shape. Our foundation for growth is proven, including a track record of securing significant donations and grant successes. This is an opportunity to build upon prior successes for immediate, large-scale impact and rapid growth.

You’ll be someone who:

The Role

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, and as a member of the Senior Management Team, you will lead our fundraising strategy and team to secure significant, multi-year income from corporates, trusts and foundations, and major donors. You’ll be responsible for expanding our funding base, deepening key relationships, and ensuring STEM Learning has the partnerships and resources to achieve its ambitious mission.

• Driving new funder engagement and positioning STEM Learning as a trusted, high-impact partner delivering measurable social value.
• Building and maintaining a strong, diverse, pipeline of six plus figure partnerships.
• Securing sustainable, multi-year income across a balanced portfolio of corporate, trusts, and major donor relationships.
• Leading, motivating, and developing the fundraising team.

Dementia Concern is a long-established local charity providing life changing care and support to people living with dementia and their families across West London.

Our mission is simple and vital: to help people live well with dementia, and to ensure that no one faces it alone.

We are entering an exciting new phase. After several years without a dedicated fundraising department, we are ready to rebuild and strengthen our income base, reconnect with the community we serve, and create sustainable funding for the future. This role will be central to that transformation, shaping how we tell our story, engage supporters, and grow our impact.

We’re looking for a Head of Fundraising, someone who can design, develop and deliver our fundraising stratergy. Someone who can innovate and who can combine stratergy, can lean in and has energy to connect with people, and who sees potential everywhere. If you’re motivated by the challenge of shaping something lasting and meaningful, this role offers the chance to make a visible difference, both to the charity and to the lives of people living with dementia.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will have both the freedom and responsibility to build a thriving, sustainable fundraising function, securing income initially from trusts and foundations and then corporates, philanthropists, individuals, and community supporters.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy and Leadership

• Develop and deliver a clear fundraising strategy that diversifies income and builds long-term sustainability.
• Inspire a culture of fundraising across the organisation, empowering staff, volunteers, and trustees to become confident advocates and ambassadors.
• Use the compelling stories of our frontline team and clients to engage, motivate, and retain supporters.

Trusts, Foundations and Corporate Giving

• Lead the development of high-quality, strategic funding applications to trusts, foundations, and corporate partners (typically £20k+).
• Build and manage a sustainable pipeline of prospects, ensuring timely applications and stewardship.
• Line-manage and mentor the newly appointed Trust Fundraiser, supporting their development and success.

Individual Giving and Appeals

• Refresh and strengthen Dementia Concern’s case for support, ensuring a consistent, powerful message across all audiences.
• Design and deliver the charity’s first major appeals — including digital campaigns, local community drives, and postal appeals — to attract and retain individual donors.
• Develop engaging donor journeys and opportunities for people to give regularly, locally, and meaningfully.

Community and Partnership Development

• Reconnect Dementia Concern with its local community through relationship-building, events, and partnerships.
• Represent the charity externally with warmth and confidence, growing our network of local supporters, volunteers, and champions.
• Work closely with the CEO and Trustees to build mutually beneficial partnerships with local businesses, groups, and influencers.
• Oversee the charity’s website and digital presence, ensuring our communications are clear, inspiring, and supporter focussed.
• Lead on campaigns and public relations that raise awareness of dementia and the charity’s impact in West London.

About you:

You will have experience in:

• Trust Fundraising and at least one of the following: corporate partnerships, individual giving, or community fundraising.
• Proven ability to develop and deliver successful fundraising strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to craft compelling cases for support and inspire others.
• A collaborative, ‘hands-on’ approach comfortable working in a small, dedicated team.
• Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Passion for dementia care and improving the lives of older people and their carers.
• Experience of working in a local or regional charity setting.
• Knowledge of Ealing and/or West London communities. (desirable)

Working Hours:  37 hours per week
