Job description
As Corporate Partnerships Manager, you will manage and grow our relationships with partners and donors from the private sector, who support our work through donations, employee fundraising and volunteering activities.
The successful candidate will thrive on cultivating and executing a fantastic experience for our corporate partners, finding opportunities to maximise their engagement and deliver fundraised income targets. The role will focus on managing and growing our existing relationships.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage the charity’s relationships with a portfolio of corporate partners

Implement account management practices that support continued development and growth of key relationships, ensuring partners feel looked after, valued and understand the impact of their support.

Develop strong working internal relationships with colleagues, charity partners and volunteers, to identify suitable opportunities to bring to life the cause and solutions for partners and their employees.

Liaison between corporate partners and our volunteer programmes function, connecting partner employees to opportunities and stewarding the activity.

Create high quality reports, proposals and presentations that communicate the impact of our work and partnerships.

Ensure impactful relationships with challenge event providers and other fundraising products, taking responsibility for selling places in to partners to support fundraising and engagement.

Meet income targets of minimum c. £500k pa.

Ensure the charity complies with the fundraising regulator code of practice and fundraising compliance legislation.

Track and report on income, working with Finance as needed

Represent The Childhood Trust at events, visits and meetings

Contribute to the ongoing development and execution of The Childhood Trust’s strategic goals.
The skills we are looking for:
- Excellent communication and social skills to communicate with different audiences, including at Senior level
- Partnership management experience, ideally in a corporate enviroment
- A passion to support children living in poverty and the mission of the Childhood Trust
- Track record in securing income
- Great presentation and negotiation skills
- A proven ability to establish long-term relationships with partners and businesses
- Experience and ability to lead projects and manage project groups.
- Ability to spot opportunities, identify partners' needs and drivers and match these with the stretegic priorities of the Childhood Trust.

About the role
Stick 'n' Step already have established relationships within trusts and foundations; however, they have big plans to diversify their portfolio and reach a larger range of supporters. To do this, they are looking for a Trusts and Grants Fundraiser to join the team. In your role, you'll meet and exceed their trusts and grants targets through fundraising proposals. Your day to day will involve preparing compelling written applications, reports, and thank you letters, and supporting the stewardship of donors, along with working with the classroom team to research and identify impact stories, case studies, images and videos to include in your applications. As part of your role, you'll work closely with an amazing Chief Executive and Head of Conductive Education.
About you
This role will suit a skilled relationship builder and communicator with experience writing successful and compelling fundraising applications. You'll need a track record of meeting income targets and the ability to present to a high standard.

We are working in partnership with The Honeypot Children’s Charity, a UK charity who are looking for an experienced Head of Lottery and Statutory Grants to research, identify and deliver six figure level income through National Lottery and Statutory funders.
With headquarters in London, and three respite houses situated in the South of England, Wales and Scotland, the Honeypot continuously supports young carers aged 5 to 12 years old, who perform a surrogate adult role as a carer for a loved one, often single-handedly, and whose wellbeing is at significant risk, leading to anxiety, isolation, poor confidence, and low self-esteem.
This newly created role the Head of Lottery and Statutory Grants will lead and develop a new income stream for the Charity, researching and developing a sustainable and key pipeline of six figure income through National Lottery and Statutory funders.
The successful candidate will:
- Demonstrate a proven track record of succeeding six figure level gifts, with direct experience of researching the National Lotteries and statutory landscapes to explore opportunities to develop six figure plus proposals for Statutory funders, or equivalent,
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills to inspire through compelling storytelling and deliver exceptional bid evaluation and proposal writing abilities to produce thorough and compelling grant proposals and reports that communicate aims and impact.

About this role:
This is a new and exciting opportunity for a Philanthropy Fundraiser to join the Charity team here at Alder Hey, the UK’s busiest Children’s Hospital.
We’re looking for someone who loves building relationships and is passionate about high value fundraising. You will have relevant charity fundraising experience with exceptional writing skills to create compelling applications and proposals for funding. In this role you will have a mixed portfolio of high value trusts, grantmakers and major donors, to support the implementation of the Philanthropy strategy to reach new audiences and increase sustainable income growth. Key Responsibilities will include:
· Manage a diverse portfolio of existing and new major donors and funders, delivering excellence in relationship management to meet an individual fundraising target.
· Build, manage and maintain a full and consistent pipeline of prospects, ensuring timely progression through each stage from identification to stewardship.
· Frequent and regular contact with donors and funders by phone, video and in person.

The charity is currently conducting a four-day working week trial, due to end on 30th September 2024. This means that, for example, staff previously working 37.5 hours a week are now working 30 hours a week to enable a four-day working week. The trial is monitoring the benefits of a four-day working week against productivity. We are confident that by embracing a more flexible and balanced approach to work, we can continue to create a thriving and fulfilling work environment while driving growth and success for our charity. Due to the formation of the new Wales Fundraising Board, an exciting new role has been created to help deliver a portfolio of corporate partnerships and events, to identify and secure new corporate partnerships and support the work of the wider UK team. We are a small, highly experienced team who share a passion to support the wellbeing and mental health of children and young people across Surrey. This is a key new role in the Major Relationships unit to support the CEO and Major Relationships Lead in major donor fundraising, an area which has grown in recent years. This locally based post will enhance the prospect pipeline and facilitate the cultivation of major donor prospects, which will help towards meeting the objectives and financial targets for major donor fundraising. Responsibilities
1. Research

Identify and prioritise potential major donor prospects in Surrey and beyond, who would be capable of making significant contributions and seem likely to have the propensity to donate i.e. to become major donors.

Produce high quality, tailored and insightful research on major donors.

Look at current supporters (all different types/levels) with good contacts/connections/networks and conduct research in order to suggest ways to reach new high net worth individuals across Surrey.
2. Event organisation/co-ordination

Organise/coordinate internal and externally run events such as dinners, drinks receptions, sporting events.

Attend key events - approx. 5 each year and sometimes evenings/weekends – welcoming guests and ensuring a positive experience.

About the Role
Reporting to Head of Fundraising and Communications, you'll play a crucial role in raising funds by engaging with SME's and the local community. This role involves developing and implementing fundraising campaigns, cultivating relationships with potential donors, supporting staff fundraising initiatives and coordinating fundraising events. You will collaborate with various stakeholders and build long-term partnerships that contribute to the sustainability and growth of the organisation.
The Youth Zone has developed a targeted funds infrastructure with live impact data established and ready to utilise in funding presentations. It costs £1.7 million a year to run, 90% of which is generated through voluntary donations of which this role will be aiming to contribute £200k in the first 2 years.
You will therefore play a vital role in keeping the charity financially sustainable through the development of local business and community fundraising. You will be given ample scope to test your creative ideas and drive forward income generation, supported by the Head of Fundraising and Communications, the Chief Executive and a forward thinking and engaged Board of Trustees.
About You
Being self-motivated and action orientated, you will be able to create and grow your own pool of potential supporters and thrive on 'making the ask'. As an enthusiastic ambassador, you'll be able to communicate this in an inspiring and tailored way and be comfortable in seeking and securing donations, whilst working alongside colleagues in the team to monitor and steward these donations appropriately.
Knowledge and experience:
Proven track record of generating income from Community and/or Corporate Fundraising.
Experience of meeting ambitious targets for new business and stewarding.
