Brief role description:
The Marketing Manager will lead the delivery of high-impact, multi-channel campaigns that enhance engagement, drive fundraising initiatives, and strengthen support for our mission: to provide life-long, life-changing support, employment and training opportunities to Service leavers, veterans, reservists and their families.
As we mark our 140th anniversary, this is a pivotal time for the Marketing Manager to lead a team of four marketing specialists to drive impactful campaigns and amplify the Charity’s presence across multiple platforms. You will work closely with programme managers across the business to identify marketing needs and opportunities, while working with the wider MarComms department to develop and deliver marketing campaigns, advise on the most effective delivery channels, and propose ways of enhancing the Forces Employment Charity presence.

Duties and key responsibilities
Database Administration (Raiser’s Edge NXT)
- Maintain and update supporter records, including constituent and gift data, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Process donation streams including MuchLoved, Enthuse and others, ensuring accurate integration and reconciliation.
- Work with the Database Manager to develop and manage Omatic Cloud processes for importing and automating gift data from external fundraising platforms.
- Process and record Gift Aid declarations in accordance with HMRC guidelines.
- Conduct data cleansing activities to maintain accuracy of records (e.g. address updates).
- Manage and maintain subscription forms (WordPress), ensuring accurate data capture and integration with Raiser’s Edge NXT.
- Extract and analyse data to support fundraising and operational reporting using Raiser’s Edge NXT queries and Excel.
- Contribute to the annual internal database audit, collaborating with the Senior Database Officer and Database Manager to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
Financial Support
- Monitor all income and update the income spreadsheet daily.
- Monthly reconciliations between Raiser’s Edge NXT and the income spreadsheet.
- Work with the Senior Finance Officer to carry out income reconciliations between Sage 50 and Raiser’s Edge NXT.
- Deposit all physical donations into the bank account weekly.
- Provide general support to the Senior Finance Officer as required.
Cross Function Collaboration
- Work closely with the Senior Database Officer to align on day-to-day data processing.
- Collaborate with the Finance Team on reconciliation and reporting.
Other

The selected candidate will have significant experience of managing a prospect research function and will have a thorough detailed knowledge of the voluntary sector. You will have excellent research skills in major gifts fundraising with demonstrable experience in identifying and researching prospects at the six and seven figure levels. The Purpose of the Role
The ideal candidate will have experience in the corporate financial services sector and they will have demonstrated experience developing corporate partnerships in support of humanitarian and development work. As a Senior Officer with a dedicated portfolio of established Financial Services partners, you will build tailored fundraising strategies and activations, focusing on incremental and sustained revenue generation. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Collaborate with the Associate Director, Financial Services to steward and cultivate a $2M+ USD portfolio of partners in support of the Global Corporate Partnerships Financial Services strategy with a focus on diversified funding streams, growing unrestricted funds, and expanding influence;
- Help to deliver a robust strategy for the Global Financial Services sector; identifying and initiating strategies for sector partnerships through a variety of partnership models (e.g. strategic, employee engagement, pro bono expertise, etc.)
- Implement stewardship, engagement and growth strategies for partners within the portfolio including account plans, proposal submissions and partnership discussions.
- Develop materials for partners or prospects, including proposed partnership overviews and activation ideas, concept notes, proposals, presentations, and reports, from drafts through to final line-editing and formatting.
- Work closely with the External Relations teams (e.g., digital, creative studio, events) to leverage finance-related virtual and in-person events and campaigns to support the overall fundraising efforts of the organization.

We are recruiting for a temporary Special Events officer for a high profile charity . You will need solid end to end event management experience in the special events or philanthropy space.

The Role
Deliver end to end planning and event day activities for both virtual and face to face events within the high-value (10k-1m) events portfolio. This includes identifying potential venues/virtual platforms, working across the department to build invitation lists, developing content based on strategic priorities, producing high-level invitations and supporting collateral, overseeing event technology, briefing speakers and senior staff, securing auction lots, and undertaking post-event evaluations and reporting .

This role is focused on providing advanced data analysis and strategic support to enhance the MS Society’s marketing, engagement, and fundraising efforts, with a focus on digital and content optimisation.
This role involves utilising advanced analytical techniques, managing complex data projects, and developing insightful reports and dashboards.
The role will work closely with our Digital, Content, and Marketing teams, in leading data initiatives that improve data-driven decision-making and optimises engagement, marketing, and content across all channels.
Additionally, this role provides mentorship and guidance to colleagues in the wider organisation, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and data excellence.
This role is responsible for:
- Analysing audience behaviour, campaign, channel, and content performance, and engagement trends to support decision-making. Using advanced techniques like predictive analytics to identify optimisation opportunities.
- Working closely with the Digital and Content team to develop data analysis strategies that align with our goals.
- Creating and maintain dashboards and reports, using tools like Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Power BI to track and present analysis clearly to stakeholders.
- Guiding and mentor colleagues, sharing knowledge and best practices in data analysis to enhance team capabilities.
