WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING 

Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will: 

• Drive sustainable income through a mix of commercial partnerships, membership growth, and charitable funding
• Develop and lead strategic and commercial partnerships, from opportunity through to delivery
• Lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of programmes across our core areas of work
• Grow and engage a diverse membership across commercial and health sector stakeholders
• Embed strong monitoring, evaluation, and reporting to demonstrate impact and inform decision-making

We are looking for a strategic, relationship-driven leader who can translate opportunity into impact, income, and influence. 

Knowledge and experience 

You will bring: 

• A strong track record of developing and securing income through partnerships, sponsorship, membership, and/or charitable funding
• Experience building and managing commercial or strategic partnerships, including identifying opportunities and maintaining long-term relationships
• Experience designing and delivering programmes involving multiple stakeholders, sectors, and/or geographies
• The ability to develop robust business cases, including assessing opportunities, risks, and resource requirements
• Experience growing and engaging professional networks, memberships, or cross-sector communities
• Confidence working in complex, multi-stakeholder environments

Knowledge of the mental health, healthcare, design, or built environment sectors is welcome, but not essential.

About the role

As our Global Head of Major Donors, you’ll be responsible for:

• Leading the global major donor and mid-level fundraising programmes to deliver sustainable income growth across the UK, US and key European Markets
• Building and executing strategies to grow five- and six-figure gifts, with a focus on £50k+ donors
• Personally cultivating, soliciting and stewarding a portfolio of high-value donor relationships
• Developing compelling donor propositions and exceptional supporter journeys
• Driving pipeline development and prospect acquisition through insight led strategies
• Leading and developing a high-performing small team of fundraisers based in the UK, US and Europe
• Overseeing income forecasting, KPIs and CRM data quality to support strategic decision-making for this programme
• Collaborating across teams to maximise donor engagement, events, and global fundraising impact. 

About you

To succeed in this role, you’ll be a strategic and relationship focused leader, with a strong track record of securing high-value gifts and growing philanthropic income streams across different markets. You’ll need to bring a blend of strategic thinking, emotional intelligence, and leadership capability, where you are able to inspire donors and team members, while delivering against ambitious income targets.

Skills and experience you’ll need to bring:

• Proven success securing five and six-figure gifts from high net worth individuals
• Experience working in international fundraising contexts, ideally with experience of the US and/or European markets
• Experience designing and delivering major donor growth strategies
• Experience of leading or contributing to mid-level giving programmes 
• Strong personal track record in cultivating, soliciting and closing high-value gifts
• Experience leading and developing passionate, high-performing fundraising or philanthropy teams
• Strong financial and analytical skills, including forecasting and pipeline management
• Ability to create compelling, tailored donor journeys and propositions

About the role

Reporting in to the Director of Finance and Corporate Governance, the Head of Governance, Compliance, and Risk will ensure robust governance, compliance, and risk management across Christian Aid and its subsidiaries which enables effective decision making.

The post-holder will be the the trusted advisor and subject matter expert in corporate governance on behalf of the Board, overseeing legal and regulatory compliance, develops and implementing a comprehensive risk management framework, and leading an internal audit programme that fosters organisational learning. The role will enhance and protect Christian Aid’s reputation and financial integrity while embedding best practices in governance and compliance.

Some of the main areas of responsibility for the Head of Governance, Compliance, and Risk include:

• Support effective trustee succession planning, effective Board meetings, and support for the Governance and Nominations Committee to ensure effective Board Governance.
• Provide expert advice on legal structures for subsidiaries, including Christian Aid Ireland.
• Provide high quality briefings with suggested solutions having sought professional advice where more specialist knowledge is required
• Establish and implement a comprehensive risk management framework including registers and appetite statements to guide directorate-level risk management.
• Develop a compliance culture covering data protection, money laundering, counter-terrorism, sanctions management, fraud prevention, and misuse of funds.
• Complete all regulatory filings (Charity Commission, OSCR, Companies House, ICO) within deadlines to avoid penalties.
• Implement an agreed internal audit plan reviewed by the Audit and Risk Committee to ensure assurance over key controls.
• Evaluate key contracts to ensure compliance and provide legal advice using external panels when necessary.
• Lead a team empowering others to drive progress and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
• Define team's responsibilities and drive the team to promote the exchange of ideas and knowledge to maximise impact and achieve outstanding results.

About you

Who we are looking for:

Essential:

• Professional qualification in law, accountancy, Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or corporate governance (ICSA).
• Extensive experience (5+ years) in UK Charity and corporate governance, compliance, and risk management within complex organisations.
• Demonstrable expertise in managing legislative changes and interpreting regulations.
• Advanced understanding of legal frameworks (e.g. data protection laws), regulatory requirements, risk management principles, and internal audit processes.
• Exceptional analytical skills for interpreting legislation; ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-specialist audiences; negotiation skills for resolving disputes.

You’ll lead projects end‑to‑end – from early concept and funding through to mobilisation, delivery, evaluation and legacy – ensuring programmes are well governed, well delivered and genuinely impactful.

​In this varied and high-profile role, you will be:

• ​Managing a diverse portfolio of projects, campaigns and partnerships, delivered to agreed scope, budget, timelines and quality
• ​Working closely with external partners, funders and suppliers to coordinate delivery and maximise impact
• ​Applying consistent, high‑quality project management standards, documentation and governance throughout the project lifecycle
• ​Leading risk, safeguarding, health & safety and compliance management across community‑focused programmes
• ​Producing board, partner and audit‑ready reporting, giving clear visibility of progress, risks, outcomes and learning
• ​Leading impact reporting and evaluation – turning data and insight into evidence, learning and future opportunity
• ​Managing project budgets, resources and supplier relationships to ensure value for money and compliance
• ​Supporting and developing colleagues, building strong project discipline, capability and collaboration across the team
• ​Representing our work confidently in presentations, reviews, events and partner forums

This is a highly collaborative role, working closely with colleagues across Partnerships & Communities, Group Projects, Operations, Support Services and external organisations.

Our ideal candidate:

​You’ll be a confident and values‑driven project professional who combines strong delivery discipline with empathy, creativity and influence.

• ​Proven experience leading complex projects end‑to‑end in multi‑stakeholder environments
• ​A strong understanding of project governance, assurance, risk management and portfolio delivery
• ​Experience working with partners, community organisations or suppliers, building trusted, productive relationships
• ​Confidence managing budgets, financial planning and value‑for‑money decisions within projects
• ​Excellent communication skills – able to translate complex information into clear, engaging messages for varied audiences
• ​Experience using project management tools and digital reporting platforms (e.g. MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Visio or similar)
• ​A recognised project management qualification (PRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent) or equivalent experience
• ​A genuine commitment to inclusion, co‑production and social impact, with an understanding of safeguarding and ethical delivery

The Senior Evidence & Evaluation Manager will sit within the Impact & Evidence directorate at the heart of Youth Futures Foundation.

Working with three Heads of Evaluation, the Deputy Director and the Director, you will help ensure our evaluations are designed to generate credible evidence of what works.

You will:

• lead the design, commissioning and management of impact evaluations, including RCTs and QEDs. This will include feasibility or developmental work where interventions are not yet ready for full impact evaluation.

• work closely with independent evaluators and delivery partners and colleagues in our Programmes & Grants and Policy & Communications directorates to assess the evaluability of interventions, and lead the design and delivery of large-scale, complex impact evaluations.

• contribute to strengthening our ‘evaluation architecture’, leading projects that enhance data infrastructure and access to administrative datasets, and set standards for methodological rigour in the sector.

In addition, you will lead other aspects of the team’s commissioning. This may include developing policies and processes, supporting the Heads of Evaluation to strengthen commissioning practice.

This role can be based at our Birmingham, Leeds or London hub. We currently operate a hybrid model of two-days per week in the office and three-days from home.

The Follicular Lymphoma Foundation (FLF) is partnering with Robertson Bell on a retained basis to appoint a Head of Finance on a permanent basis. Founded in 2019, FLF is the first charity in the world dedicated solely to curing follicular lymphoma, an incurable blood cancer affecting more than 1.5 million people globally. Reporting directly to the Global CEO and working closely with Trustees, Board Members and senior stakeholders, the Head of Finance will play a key role in shaping financial strategy, strengthening operational maturity and supporting international growth.

The role:
• Lead the development of FLF’s long-term financial strategy, supporting growth and international expansion.
• Partner with the Global CEO, Trustees and leadership team, providing financial insight to support decision-making, programme investment and fundraising activity.
