We are seeking an Investment Director and Regional Lead to join the Transporters portfolio to fund e-mobility solutions. Based in Nairobi, Kenya, the successful candidate will identify, evaluate, and manage investments and large-scale commercial partnerships that materially increase transporters’ (in Africa and India) incomes. Responsibilities span across all stages of deal execution, including building a pipeline of potential investments, structuring and negotiating deals, conducting due diligence and preparing proposals for approval, and successful implementation. The Investment Director will also play a critical role in developing the portfolio’s strategy and annual business plan. We are seeking a self-starter with exceptional strategic thinking and planning, analytical, and communications skills. Previous experience in the energy or electric mobility sector would be advantageous.

As a Regional Lead, the individual will play a significant leadership role to the East Africa team based in Nairobi. He or she will represent the foundation externally to build strategic relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders and provide strategic advisory to executive-level management and wider foundation team on East African regional-specific strategies and insights, through a localised- and consumer-driven lens.

This position offers flexible working arrangements and the opportunity to work remotely with regular travel within the region and to our London head office.

Skills & Experience

• Over 10 years of work experience, including significant experience in East Africa, particularly in scaling up entrepreneurial enterprises, or leading initiatives and teams in a major corporate or financial institution
• Ability to design, negotiate, and drive complex projects to success by collaborating across internal (multiple functions and executive-level management) and external (partners and investors) stakeholders
• Experience in investment proposal development
• Demonstrated commercial and financial analytical skills

We are looking for a Supported Housing Support Worker to join our Brighton Young Families team. Main areas of responsibilities are:

Coaching and Engagement

• Coach an agreed number of young parents to articulate and achieve their aspirations and ambitions and acquire the skills they need to live independent and fulfilling lives with their children
• Work proactively, creatively, and effectively with young parents to help them to develop a consistent and positive approach to parenting aimed at addressing behaviours and overcoming challenges
• To promote and facilitate parental understanding of a child’s needs and to support parents to provide an appropriate environment in which children feel safe, and which encourages the development of both the child’s and parents’ self-esteem and resilience

• Coach young parents to develop strong networks and connections outside of the service, which will sustain them once they move on. Encourage and proactively assist in the development of skills needed to successfully live, learn, and work.

General:

• Contribute to a great working environment, with a calm, yet assertive manner, being able to handle potentially difficult situations
• Participate in relevant continuing professional development and utilise Reflective Practice Supervision as part of leading psychologically informed practice

At Blood Cancer UK, we’re support and campaign for everyone affected by blood cancer. Our digital support services help people feel informed, connected, and supported, no matter where they live in the UK. 

As Digital Support Services Officer, you’ll help ensure that people affected by blood cancer can access reliable information and peer support through a range of digital platforms. You’ll lead the day-to-day running of our online community forum, support and coordinate volunteers, and work across teams to help develop and improve our support offer. Main purpose of post
As the Operations Assistant you will be supporting the Operations Manager in
delivering and maintaining effective operational function at the charity.
Including but not exclusively, Health & Safety, Premises, Facilities, Vehicle
Management, and IT Services.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Support
 Act as the first point of contact for premises, facilities, IT and Estates
issues across all Weston Park Cancer Charity locations.
 Assist the Operations Manager in maintaining a secure and organised
premises and facilities, which ensure colleagues, volunteers and visitors
are safe and experience a welcoming environment.
 Support the Operations Manager in the successful delivery of the Annual
Operations plan.
 Provide administrative support to the Operations Manager and take
minutes in operations-related working groups.
 Support with updating operational policies and procedures.
 Act as a Charity Data Protection Officer (DPO), alongside the Operations
Manager - following relevant training, to promote a strong GDPR culture.
 Assist in the coordination of charity vehicle fleet maintenance schedules
and provide breakdown response support.
 Assist in the control and coordination of the use of charity space and
assets, including liaising with contractors and Sheffield Teaching
Hospitals (STH) on relevant matters as required.

Health & Safety
 Serve as the first point of contact for all Health & Safety matters,
including incidents and accidents, ensuring accurate recording and

 Assist in the procurement, delivery and recording of mandatory staff

Workwear and equipment
 Act as the first point of contact for workwear and equipment requests;
including being responsible for issuing and returning stock, regular stock
checks and ordering stock as required.

Tech Support
 Serve as the first point of contact for general IT enquiries.
 Consult with IT consultants to ensure adherence to processes.
 Work with the Operations Manager to implement processes that
maintain the IT security score.
 Assist in the onboarding and offboarding of employees, including
software licenses, logins, and induction training.
 Serve as lead administrator for key operational software, such as Webex
phone system and Vatix Lone Worker App.

General Administrative Support & Development
 Handle general enquiries from staff, patients, and volunteers efficiently.
 Manage charity postal enquiries.
 Assist the Operations Manager with the procurement of stationery and
consumables.
 Assist the wider team with ad hoc work and undertake small projects
that support the charity's work. e.g. Events, Logistical and Tech Support.

Environmental Advocate
 Work with the Operations Manager to promote environmental
awareness and encourage the charity adopts a green approach (e.g.,
recycling, energy use, carbon footprint).
 Identify and implement actions to reduce environmental impacts, costs,
and/or increase income under the direction of the Operations Manager.

This role is part of an ambitious national initiative called the Accelerating Reform Fund (ARF), funded by the Department for Health and Social Care to support innovation and positive change in adult social care. Greater Manchester’s ARF programme brings together all 10 local authorities, the NHS, Voluntary sector organisations, carers, and people with lived experience to improve care for adults.

As part of the evaluation of this programme, we are recruiting Peer Researchers to gather real-life stories from people across Greater Manchester about their experiences with care and support services. These stories will help improve how services are designed and delivered, particularly in two areas:

• Improving the identification and support for unpaid carers throughout the hospital discharge process;

• Shared Lives respite options for unpaid carers, including day support.

This role will be part of a small team of Peer Researchers, all of whom bring valuable insight from their own experiences and will work closely with the Lived Experience Coordinator to gather and reflect the diverse voices and stories of people across Greater Manchester.
 

Role Purpose

As a Peer Researcher, your role is to listen, capture, learn, and share. You will use your lived experience and connection to your community to gather stories from others, especially those who may feel overlooked or unheard.

You don’t need formal qualifications or previous experience in research as you’ll receive full training – you just need a genuine interest in people, the ability to listen, and a commitment to positive change.

By helping us understand what care and support really feels like on the ground, you’ll directly contribute to evaluating how well the ARF projects are meeting people’s needs – and what should be done differently going forward.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of a community research project by gathering people’s real experiences of care and support across Greater Manchester through one-to-one conversations, interviews, or group storytelling sessions.

• Record stories using approaches such as note taking, Dictaphone or video within an ethical and trauma-informed framework.

• Attend training and team meetings to build skills in community research, consent, safeguarding, and storytelling.

• Work collaboratively with the Lived Experience Coordinator and other Peer Researchers to curate the stories, reflect on emerging themes and contribute to the overall evaluation of the ARF programme.

• Help develop and share research findings in meaningful ways – such as reports, events, or creative formats – to influence local decision-making and service improvement.
 

Other details

This is a sessional (casual) role, which means you are not employed on a fixed contract or guaranteed number of hours, nor are you entitled to sick pay or other employee related benefits. Instead, we will agree with you an approximate number of hours and tasks based on your availability, personal circumstances and the needs of the project. About More Than A Roof:

More Than A Roof is a charity dedicated to empowering individuals and families experiencing homelessness. Our vision is a world where everyone has a secure home, and no one needs to stay in temporary accommodation to avoid homelessness. We work alongside vulnerable people in temporary accommodation to improve their lives and communities, unlock their potential, and open new possibilities. We provide practical and emotional support and stability, aiming to make any stay in temporary accommodation short, rare, and non-recurring. We work in close partnership with organisations like The Housing Network, Community Shop and a large number of Local Authorities.

The Role:

The CEO will be responsible for leading the strategic growth, fundraising, and external engagement of More Than a Roof. This role will focus on developing and communicating the charity’s mission, building strong partnerships, and securing funding to expand our impact across the UK.

The CEO will act as the external face of More Than a Roof, engaging supporters, funders, and strategic stakeholders to raise awareness and increase income. While the charity exists to support individuals & families experiencing homelessness, delivery of frontline services and direct engagement with residents is undertaken by our partner organisations, such as The Housing Network. The CEO will ensure that the voice and experience of those we support shapes our fundraising narrative, advocacy, and programme design, without duplicating the operational role of our delivery partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work alongside colleagues at The Housing Network to support individuals and families (including individuals over 18’s, families, and prison leavers) as they move into temporary accommodation.
• Facilitate connections for beneficiaries within the local community in Leicester, helping them build support networks.
• Signpost beneficiaries to relevant external support agencies and services to address their diverse needs (e.g., health & wellbeing, training & life skills, employment, financial matters).
• Collaborate closely with on-the-ground partners, such as Community Shop in Leicester, to ensure integrated support.
• Collect and maintain accurate beneficiary data and records, ensuring compliance and contributing to outcome reporting.
• Actively support the charity's social media presence and engagement.
• Play a key role in fundraising activities, demonstrating a proactive approach and a proven track record of successful fundraising initiatives.
• Regularly report to and support the Board of Trustees, providing updates on beneficiary progress and charitable activities.

 About You:

We are looking for an exceptional individual who is passionate about making a tangible difference in the lives of people experiencing homelessness. You will be a self-starter with a proactive approach, comfortable working independently as the charity's first paid employee.

 Essential Skills & Experience:

• A proven track record of working in a local charity, demonstrating an understanding of the charity sector, particularly in the field of homelessness.
• Confidence and a highly self-motivated approach, capable of managing your own workload effectively.
• Knowledge and understanding of the homelessness sector, its complexities, and challenges.
• Solid understanding and practical experience of safeguarding principles and procedures.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care principles and their application in support settings.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse individuals and families, supporters of the charity and external stakeholders and funders.

The key responsibilities we entrust you with

Operations Support

• Guide and assist ISEAL staff in using software tools effectively by leading inductions, writing guidance, sharing best practice, providing training and trouble-shooting issues that arise
• Manage IT equipment and liaise with external IT support
• Facilitate internal communications by supporting regular and ad hoc staff meetings
• Work closely with Senior Manager Operations on improvement projects, including leading smaller projects

Member communications

• Gather and prepare content for member mailings, including our monthly member-only newsletter, the ISEAL Insider
• Maintain the internal Mailchimp schedule, liaising with staff in the Communications team to plan and schedule mailings effectively
• Support other ISEAL teams to communicate appropriately with members through our different channels and mailing lists, checking for adherence to brand guidelines
• Support the Membership Coordinator and Membership Manager with drafting blogs, news items, and group posts to share updates with members via the ISEAL Platform
• With the Membership Coordinator, regularly review content on the ISEAL Platform to ensure it remains accurate and up to date, liaising with other teams where necessary

Monitoring our membership programme

• Regularly collect data to help monitor our member communications, engagement with member-only events, and use of the ISEAL Platform
• Create and update quarterly reports and dashboards to help identify and communicate key trends and inform improvements
• Support the Membership Manager with the preparation of quarterly and annual engagement reports to send to members

The Sporting Events Team at Alzheimer’s Research UK (ARUK) is responsible for securing income from individuals taking on sporting challenges and effectively managing relationships to maximise income.

As Sporting Events Administrator, you will play a significant part in contributing to a high-performing fundraising team. You will work closely with the Sporting Event Managers (SEM) and Sporting Event Officers (SEO) to drive the continued growth of the charity’s sporting event fundraising income. To support accurate financial administration and effective donor data
management. This role is vital to ensuring that income from donations is

Key responsibilities
Donation Processing & Stewardship Support
 Accurately process all cash and cheque income batches into our
fundraising CRM and finance systems.
 Process and code incoming donations from a range of sources, including

 Ensure all funds are banked in a timely manner and act as the main
contact for arranging cash collections.

 Ensure high standards of accuracy and integrity of CRMs and finance
