MiD Mediation and Counselling is looking for an experienced and dynamic Executive Director to be responsible for leadership and management of this busy charity that runs mediation and counselling for families that have separated or divorced. 

Relationship breakdown or separation can be painful and distressing for all concerned.  The charity plays a vital role in supporting families when they are going through some of the most challenging and stressful times in their life and we can help make a difference and find a positive way forward for these families. Vision of adventure, a small outdoor charity based in the Lake District , is seeking an experienced fundraiser to join our team. We specialise in working with people with visual impairments facilitating outdoor adventures, social connection and access to specialist coaching. To achieve this the organisation partners visually impaired individuals with sighted guides for residential weekends focusing on: long walks, canoeing, climbing, tandem biking, and more. The team comprises five part-time workers, numerous volunteers, and the board of trustees. We all work remotely, use each others first names, and have flexible scheduling.

The role of a fundraiser is paramount to our continued sustainability. You will be solely responsible for our fundraising initiatives. Summary

The Education and Growing Faith department is looking to hire a Senior Programme Officer to support the church schools and the wider education sector. What you'll be doing

The purpose of this role is to:

Job Purpose: The Senior Programme Development Officer is responsible for identifying and securing funding and managing relationships with Peace Direct’s funders

Reporting to: Programme Development Manager

Location: The position will be based at Peace Direct’s office in London.

The Role

Working within our International Partnerships, Programmes and Research (IPPR) team, the Senior Programme Development Officer will secure income for Peace Direct through research, development and management of relationships with new and existing funders. The post holder will proactively identify new funders, write proposals and reports and steward relationships to secure and maintain the funding necessary for Peace Direct to achieve its organisational goals. This includes programmatic, research, advocacy and strategic funding, working with restricted and unrestricted grants from institutional and trust and foundation funders ranging from £1,000 to £1m+. In collaboration with others, the post holder will also accompany advise and support local partners to diversify their funding.

The role is for someone with an enthusiasm for working with funders, with a strong track record of successfully securing grants from trusts, foundations and/or institutional donors. You will have strong writing skills, exceptional attention to detail and be capable of working effectively and efficiently to tight deadlines. A strong affinity with peacebuilding and an interest in challenging the way the international cooperation and peacebuilding sectors works would be beneficial, as would language skills in French, Spanish and/or Arabic.

Role overview

The Head of Financial Planning and Analysis is a key leadership role within the Finance Team at FILE, responsible for the financial planning cycle and management information, business partnering support across the organisation, and financial reporting to donors.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Lead the FP&A team at FILE, including setting team vision, annual team planning and objectives
• Lead annual planning process across income, granting plans and operational expenditure, developing innovative approaches
• Ensure robust quarterly forecasting process supports resource planning, strategic operational expenditure investment decisions and guides the allocation of unrestricted and flexible funding to highest impact
• Ensure prompt monthly Management Information, implementing reporting tools, dashboards and  automation where possible

About the role

We are seeking a proactive and organised Finance Officer to join our small, friendly team for 1 day per week (0.2 FTE) on a permanent basis. This is a hybrid role, offering a mix of home and occasional office-based working from our base in Hackney. 

Reporting to the Director, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and accurate management of our finances. You will be responsible for bookkeeping, financial reporting, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity to utilise your finance skills within a supportive environment where your contribution will have a direct impact. 

We’re looking for an experienced finance administrator or officer with a strong understanding of bookkeeping and financial reporting, ideally within a charity, social enterprise or small business. You’ll possess exceptional numerical skills, a keen eye for detail, and excellent organisational and time management abilities. You’ll also be a proactive problem-solver with a warm and friendly communication style and the ability to work collaboratively within a small team.

EMpower is a global philanthropic foundation that partners with organisations across 15 emerging market countries who are focused on solutions that integrate the voices and experiences of marginalised young people, especially girls, aged between 10–24 years. This proposition and our recent investment into fundraising means that our income has nearly doubled in the last 5 years. We have attracted new large-scale corporate donors on top of maintaining our traditional areas of relationship-based fundraising success, including HNWI from the finance sector. Yet we know we are still only scratching the surface of what’s possible. 

This new position is a response to the increasing focus on events as a key part of our fundraising and stewardship strategy. Our flagship Annual Dinner is our main fundraiser; last year we smashed our targets and raised over £2m. With this added post in our team we are confident that we can not only replicate but increase that growth. This role will take responsibility for all UK events, and resulting relationships with a small portfolio of major donors.   

When thinking about the profile of individuals who would be well suited to this role and who will help bring our events and donor stewardship in the UK to the next level, it is likely you will have consolidated events experience, a talent for building relationships and a proven track record in securing some funds, ideally through relationship-driven fundraising activity.

High Value Partnerships Manager (Corporate and Trusts)

We are looking for an experienced Trust and Corporate Manager - to be known as a High Value Partnerships Manager - to join our small and friendly fundraising team. You will be responsible for driving our strategy for fundraising from Corporate Partnerships and Trusts & Grants, both of which are already well-established income streams with lots of great potential. You will also use your experience to identify, attract and win new partnerships.

Hours:30 hours per week (negotiable for the right candidate)

Purpose of the role

• Accountable for winning and delivering partnerships with Corporates and Trust & Grants, with support from a Fundraising Officer
• Secure new partnerships that are vision-aligned, with a focus on multi-year grants/contracts
• Research and develop a strategy for growing our High Value income, whilst providing excellent relationship management, delivery and reporting to those we’re already working with

The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and implementing a strategy for High Value Partnerships. They will be able to demonstrate how they have researched and negotiated partnerships and/or submitted funding applications, providing excellent stewardship and creating meaningful partnerships that lead to long term support and therefore sustainable income.

Essential

• Experience of creating and delivering a High Value strategy
• Experience of the full fundraising pipeline, including researching, cultivating and securing multi-year 5 or 6 figure donations from Trusts, Foundations or Corporate Partnerships (experience of both income streams a plus)
• Excellent relationship building skills up to a senior level
• Ability to project manage the delivery of partnerships including impact reporting
• Experience working in a CRM and analysing data to inform decision-making (Microsoft Dynamics experience a plus)
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Able to collaborate with a team of various disciplines or work independently as required
• Enthusiasm for the issues we work on

Who we are: Galapagos Conservation Trust (GCT) is the only UK registered charity to focus exclusively on supporting the conservation and sustainability of the Galapagos Islands, Ecuador. Job Overview: Galapagos Conservation Trust is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to support our Financial Director and organisational teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in finance operations, a trustworthy problem solver with a can-do attitude, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency. The successful individual will have strong interpersonal skills and be able to operate independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues across the organisation, supporting them with accurate financial insights and guidance.  

  Key Responsibilities: 

Financial operations and month end reporting 

• Manage the day-to-day transactional processing and reporting activities of the finance function, including but not limited to: 

• Income processing within subscriber and Xero 

• Payments and receipts 

• Monthly close process, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and completed within the month end timetable 

• Processing of monthly journals 

• Accruals and prepayments 

• Balance sheet reconciliations 

• Monthly financial reporting 

• Cashflow 

• Support the Ecuadorian financial reporting where needed 

• Departmental spend analysis for the Programmes, Operations, Fundraising and Communications teams

Key skills and experience 

Must have: 

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) 

• High quality analytical skills to be able to understand and analyse the financial data. 

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a variety of stakeholders 

• Experience working within financial planning, accounting and analysis, providing budgeting and forecasting support for budget holders 

• Ability to work under pressure, managing competing deadlines

• Good knowledge of Microsoft applications, in particular Excel

ULI Europe requires an experienced, highly-organised individual to work closely with the CEO of ULI Europe, Chair of the ULI Charitable Trust, Chief (Philanthropic) Fundraising Officer and VP of Business Development and Membership to administer and support the growth of ULI’s philanthropic fundraising work in Europe.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Manager of Philanthropic Fundraising will serve as the cornerstone of administrative support for ULI’s philanthropic fundraising initiatives in Europe.

 The role will report to the Vice President, Business Development & Membership on a day-to-day basis and work closely with the Chair of the ULI Charitable Trust and CEO ULI Europe. The role will have a functional reporting line to the Chief (Philanthropic) Fundraising Officer.

This position requires excellent organisational, administrative, and stakeholder management skills, particularly within the charity or philanthropic sector.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide administrative and management support to the philanthropic fundraising initiatives of the ULI Charitable Trust (and the CT Board of Trustees / ULIF Europe Committee) and ULI Europe, including fundraising campaigns, donation tracking, gift processing, and donor stewardship in cooperation with the ULI Finance team in the US. 
• Oversee and coordinate design and development of marketing collateral, presentations supporting fundraising campaigns, in collaboration with the ULI Europe Marketing and Communications team.
• Collaborate closely with the ULI Europe Business Development and Membership team, ULI’s country directors, and the governance director to support the planning and implementation of the European philanthropic fundraising strategy set by the CT Board of Trustees / ULIF Europe Committee.
• Coordinate and maintain relationships with individual and institutional donors,, in close collaboration with the corporate accounts team, CEO, ULI Europe and the Chair of the Charitable Trust / Chair of the ULIF Europe Committee;
• Work in close collaboration with Research & Advisory Services and ESG Programmes colleagues, to identify and research (third party) philanthropic funding and grant opportunities and assist in the preparation of applications for philanthropic funding from (third party) foundations and government agencies;
• Coordination of proposal writing for potential foundation funding, in close collaboration with the research, marketing communications and legal and compliance teams.
• Develop and manage internal processes for grant compliance, application tracking, reporting, and gift acknowledgement for ULI Europe.

• Experience working in an operations, administration, or governance role within a UK or European charity, charitable trust, or foundation.
