About you

We are looking for a proactive and visible finance professional who is able to engage and build relationships across the organisation as a pivotal member within a values-led high performing organisation. You will be a qualified accountant with proven track record of financial management awareness and a solid understanding of charity audits and statutory accounts preparation. You will have the ability to work with staff across the organisation in supporting good financial governance and oversight of financial operational matters. You will have the ability to analyse financial information and present this in a suitable format for the audience. You will have good ability to meet deadlines, be IT literate with an emphasis on financial systems, spreadsheets, Quickbooks and Excel. You will be highly organised with excellent attention to detail and be able to work with minimum supervision.

About the role

The role will involve the management of the day-to-day financial activities, VAT, gift aid, payroll and the monthly, quarterly and annual reconciliations and statutory accounts preparation. The job holder will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer, Finance Officer and volunteers within the team. There will be a requirement to work closely with the income generating staff, budget holders, auditors, banks and credit card providers on a regular basis. The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the Finance Officer and Finance volunteer.

Role purpose 

We are seeking an organised, data-driven, and creative Senior Individual Giving Officer to support the delivery of high-quality fundraising campaigns that inspire new and existing supporters to give. You will play a key role in developing excellent supporter and stewardship journeys that encourage repeat gifts and maximise supporter lifetime value.

You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging direct marketing campaigns across print, digital and email channels, with a particular focus on one-off appeals, regular donations, and incentivised giving products. 

Working closely with the Marketing & Campaigns Manager and Marketing & Communications Officer, you will develop audience-led supporter journeys, compelling fundraising copy, and test-and-learn approaches to build lasting supporter relationships and grow income for Southampton Hospitals Charity.  You will also support budgeting and performance reporting, analysing campaign results to inform and optimise future activity. 

Key tasks and responsibilities  

Campaign development and delivery 

• Work with the Campaigns & Marketing Manager to plan and deliver a calendar of direct marketing campaigns across print, email, and digital, focused on income generation and donor retention. 

• Work with the Marketing and Communications Officer to develop compelling, supporter-centred fundraising copy for appeals, donation forms, landing pages, emails, and stewardship content. 

• Coordinate campaign production, from creative briefing to print and fulfilment, working with suppliers, designers, and mailing house partners as needed. 

• Lead on campaign timelines and ensure activity is delivered on time and within budget. 

• Work with colleagues across the charity to gather impactful case studies and project updates for use in donor communications. 

• Manage and maintain campaign collateral such as templates, thank-you letters, and welcome packs, ensuring brand and message consistency. 

Supporter journeys & stewardship 

• Develop and implement supporter journeys for new and existing individual givers, ensuring timely and relevant follow-ups to donations. 

• Identify opportunities to improve retention and upgrade rates through targeted communications and segmentation.

• Ensure all donor touchpoints (e.g. donation forms, thank-you pages, emails) provide an excellent experience. 

• Collaborate with the Fundraising and Operation teams to ensure donor communications align with wider charity messaging. 

• Support fundraising campaigns with tailored communications for regular givers, lottery players, payroll givers, and one-off donors. 

• Provide outstanding donor stewardship to foster repeat support and promote additional giving opportunities, including legacy gifts. 

Data & insight 

• Work closely with Database & Insights Officer to segment data and analyse results to inform and feed into longer-term strategic plans to maximise donor lifetime value. 

• Regularly track and report on KPIs such as response rate, income, ROI, and donor retention.

Role Summary

The Conduit Foundation harnesses the power of convening, collaboration, and catalytic funding to advance innovative solutions to the world’s most pressing social and environmental challenges. We are in rapid start-up mode, having recently begun accepting our first grants and moving quickly to build our operating model. This is a pivotal moment for the Foundation: we are ready to translate our mission and vision into a fully functioning philanthropic engine.

This will be the first full-time hire into the Foundation, working hand-in-hand with the Board of Trustees and the Chief Impact Officer to operationalise our mission, establish systems and processes, and set the stage for ambitious, high-impact fundraising, grant management, programme delivery, and partnership development.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy & Leadership

Translate the Conduit executive leadership and Foundation Board’s vision into actionable plans and measurable outcomes.

Collaborate with The Conduit’s Impact team to integrate Foundation initiatives into broader Conduit strategy.

Identify and cultivate opportunities for funding, partnerships, and programme innovation.

2. Grants Management

Oversee the full grant cycle – from prospecting to evaluation - managing relationships, projects and budgets.

Ensure all grant activities meet legal, regulatory, and ethical standards, including England & Wales charity compliance.

Develop robust processes for impact measurement and reporting.

3. Board Development & Governance

Strengthen the governance set up, bolstering policies and procedures to establish best practice and managing legal and regulatory requirements for the Foundation.

Serve as the principal contact for the Board of Trustees, preparing materials, facilitating meetings and owning resulting actions.

Support recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing engagement of Trustees.

Advise the Board on trends and opportunities in philanthropy and social impact.

4. Fundraising & Corporate Engagement

Build and maintain relationships with corporate, institutional, and high-net-worth partners.

Identify and secure grants from funders that align with Foundation strategic priorities.

5. Programme Design & Delivery

Lead the design, launch, and management of the Foundation’s first in-house programmes.

Ensure programmes are innovative, impactful, and aligned with strategic priorities.

Set up systems for monitoring, learning, and continuous improvement.

6. Organisational Integration

Manage the relationship between the Foundation, Conduit Holdco, and The Conduit Club London.

Foster a culture of alignment, transparency, and shared mission across entities.

Young Carers’ Project (YCP) Manager

Contract: Full-time | 36 hours per week.

Location: Kingston Upon Thames, with some hybrid working.

Salary: £41,034 per annum.

Kingston Carers Network's Young Carers Project (YCP) provides information, advice and support to young carers in Kingston. Our services include a weekly youth club and drop-in sessions, respite activities during the school holidays, one-to-one mentoring and targeted family support.

We are looking for a committed, proactive person with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills to lead the YCP team in supporting our amazing young carers, aged 5-18, who all have a caring responsibility for a family member. We currently support over 4000 carers, including over 800 young carers, who are caring for a relative or friend with a disability, illness, mental health problem or substance addiction. The successful candidate will have the ability to plan and deliver a range of activities and support to young carers to ensure that the project aims are achieved. Experience of working with young people aged 5-18 years is essential.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Project Officer for Dartmoor, you will deliver the Bike It Moor project, which forms part of the Dartmoor’s Dynamic Landscapes (DDL) programme. You will work in partnership and collaboration with other the DDL partners, who are also delivering projects as part of DDL, to accomplish shared objectives and targets. The DDL programme is led by Dartmoor National Park Authority (DNPA) and made possible by a grant from The National Lottery Heritage Fund.  Thanks to National Lottery players, we are able to offer this exciting new role.

You will engage and work with selected schools and their wider communities in the project areas, developing and delivering fun, engaging and innovative activities and events. These will be inclusive and promote and enable all forms of active travel (walking, cycling, scooting and wheeling) to school. 

You will plan and deliver practical skills (like cycle and scooter skills sessions, bike maintenance and led walks and rides), information events (such as assemblies, drop-in sessions, pop up stands), competitions, incentive programmes and classroom sessions. You will also plan and deliver day and overnight cycling and walking experiences, giving pupils the opportunity to explore and enjoy the local green landscape, immerse pupils in the natural heritage of the area.

You will report directly to the local Project Manager and will recruit, train and support local volunteers on the project, as well as engaging with project officers across the South region and the UK.

Due to the nature of the role, a full DBS is required to be completed by the successful person. Candidates should be based within the geographical area with regular travel expected.

You should have experience of working with young people from a wide variety of backgrounds and be able to adapt your approach to meet varying needs. You must demonstrate evidence of planning and delivering engaging and interactive group workshops and activity sessions, as well as experience of events planning.

You will have experience of delivering successful behaviour change projects, ideally with a physical activity focus, and have an understanding of community based or environmental projects.

The Role

Sitopia Farm is a modern, urban farm located in Greenwich, SE London, dedicated to reconnecting people with the origins of their food and promoting a healthier, more equitable and sustainable food system. We have been successful to date in raising money for our farm including through crowdfunding, grants and other sources, but are embarking on the next stage in our development: an ambitious project to raise £650,000 to build an eco-barn: a sustainable structure that will serve as the heart of our operations. This transformative project will significantly enhance our productivity as well as our ability to serve the community and promote sustainability.

This is a largely remote working job with occasional visits to Sitopia Farm, Greenwich, London.

Role Overview: 

Sitopia Farm is seeking a part-time freelance Fundraising Consultant to lead all aspects of fundraising, with a specific focus on securing the £650,000 needed for our eco-barn project. This is a critical role that offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact by helping us bring this vision to life. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in fundraising strategy, grant writing, major donor engagement, and ideally an understanding of capital campaigns. We have had a strong track record in securing smaller amounts of funding to date and have a strong network and potential opportunities that this role could capitalise on.   

Key Responsibilities:

1. Fundraising Strategy and Leadership

• Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy principally to secure c. £650,000 for the eco-barn project and support and develop fundraising for other farm activities as required.
• Identify and pursue diverse funding streams, including grants, corporate sponsorships, major donors, as well as crowdfunding and events.

2. Grant Writing and Proposal Development

• Research and apply for grants from trusts, foundations, and public funding bodies.
• Write compelling funding proposals tailored to funders’ priorities and ensure timely submission.

3. Major Donor and Corporate Engagement

• Cultivate and maintain relationships with high-net-worth individuals, corporate sponsors, and other key stakeholders.
• Develop tailored donor engagement plans, including pitches and impact reports.

4. Campaigns and Events

• Plan and execute an innovative fundraising campaign to raise awareness and funds for the eco-barn project.
• Work in partnership with external event advisers and in collaboration with the wider Sitopia Farm team to create successful fundraising events.
• Collaborate with the Sitopia Farm team to create engaging content and materials.

5. Project Management and Reporting

• Track and monitor fundraising progress against targets, providing regular updates to the team.
• Ensure compliance with funders’ requirements and support the Sitopia Farm team to deliver impact reports as needed.

Essential:

• Proven track record of leading successful fundraising initiatives, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience.
• Excellent skills in a range of fundraising techniques, in particular major donors, trusts and foundations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; confident in building relationships with donors, businesses, and stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of the UK fundraising landscape, fundraising regulation and code of practice.
• Strong organisational skills- capable of managing multiple income streams with strong attention to detail and great record-keeping and project management.
• Ability to work independently and drive results in a part-time, freelance capacity.

Desirable:

• Passion for sustainability, regenerative agriculture, and community-building projects.
• Experience of fundraising for a capital project.
• Experience of event and campaign management/ ability to work with others to deliver those aspects of the strategy.

The post-holder will play a key role within the Initiatives and Partnerships team, working with regional teams to develop and implement proposals to expand use of historic churches in our existing estate and, on occasion, working with other heritage and community groups to deliver their own projects via consultancy or partnership work.   

 They will manage a programme of work that will include a number of site-specific projects and national initiatives across multiple sites, as well as from time to time working with third parties on partnership or consultancy projects.   

The Commercial Initiatives Officer is responsible for the development and delivery of CCT’s commercial initiatives, including Champing and Filming, that involve multiple sites, as well as any future such schemes. The role will line manage the Customer Service and Admin Assistant, Champing who is responsible for the day-to-day delivery of Champing. The post-holder will also work closely with colleagues in conservation and regional teams to make sure that impacts on both areas are fully considered, whilst in tandem seeking to maximise opportunities to expand and increase commercial activity, income and ultimately profitability.

Role objective

Lead our efforts to grow and diversify CNK’s income across individual giving, trusts and foundations, corporate partnerships, and community fundraising. Diversity our income base by increasing our unrestricted income, ensure organisational sustainability by securing multi-year grants and growing individual and corporate donations and grow our annual income by identifying and building relationships with new donor

• Report quarterly on fundraising progress to Chief Executive and Board of Trustees

The role

As Head of Operations, you will lead all operational functions of Foxglove. You will ensure that our finance, HR, legal compliance, fundraising, systems and internal processes enable the organisation to carry out its mission effectively. You’ll work across Foxglove and closely with leadership, as well as with external partners to build a resilient and well-governed organisation, able to manage growth and complexity while staying mission driven. This role manages one member of staff and multiple consultants. 

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Financial Management & Accounting

1.Oversee financial operations: budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, expenditure controls, financial reporting, payroll.

2.Ensure compliance with accounting standards, audit requirements and donor / funder financial reporting obligations.

4.Ensure appropriate and best practice financial policies and controls are in place.

Fundraising & Development
