RUHX are seeking a motivated and collaborative Charity Impact Manager to lead our internal grants programme and ensure that charitable funds deliver measurable impact for patients, families and staff.

You will play a key role in implementing our new grant‑making system to strengthen monitoring, compliance, approvals and financial forecasting across all restricted and unrestricted funds. Working closely with clinical, operational and fundraising teams, you will help shape a strong pipeline of strategically aligned projects and support the delivery of donor‑funded initiatives, including restricted grants and major donor commitments.

Main duties of the job

No two days in our team are the same. In this role you will spilt your time working onsite in the office in Bath, so that you can meet clinical colleagues across the hospital, with opportunities to work flexibly from home.  You will have a varied role which involves managing a wide range of duties and tasks including.

• Lead the RUHX internal grants process, ensuring all charitable expenditure is compliant and aligned to strategic priorities and donor intent.
• Support the implementation and management of a new grant‑making system that tracks assessments, approvals, expenditure, commitments and fund forecasting.
• Build strong relationships with RUH teams to encourage and support high‑quality, high‑impact grant applications.
• Work with the Development Team to deliver and monitor donor‑funded and restricted‑grant projects, ensuring accurate reporting for stewardship.
• Lead impact measurement and evaluation across all funded projects, producing clear and engaging reports for governance and donors.
• Monitor fund utilisation, project progress and risks, providing regular updates to senior leadership and the Charities Committee.

About the Role

Working closely with the Development Manager and the Development Director, you will play a key role in strengthening relationships with the Trust’s communities, supporting fundraising initiatives and delivering engaging communications and events that foster lifelong connections with the Trust and its schools.

Key Responsibilities

• Build meaningful relationships across school communities and alumni networks, bringing people together and inspiring them to support the Trust’s vision
• Lead creative fundraising and engagement initiatives, from community campaigns to reunions and events, helping to drive a vibrant culture of giving
• Boost the Trust’s growth and sustainability by supporting data‑driven fundraising, managing donor stewardship, maintaining accurate customer relationship management (CRM) records, and contributing to strong grant proposals

We are looking for an experienced Grants Manager to join our Fundraising team and play a key role in stewarding relationships with our institutional funders. About the Role.  

We are investing in our Fundraising and Development team to deliver an ambitious 5-year fundraising strategy. The Trusts and Philanthropy Manager is pivotal in securing philanthropic support from trusts and foundations, legacies, major donors, and corporate partners.

We’re seeking a Fundraising Officer to support the growth of all our programmes, services, and campaigns. Primarily working on a new area of trusts and foundations fundraising, including researching prospects. The fundraising team is responsible for income generation including donors, campaigns, grants, and exploring new ways we can sustain and grow our fundraising. This includes planning and leading giving campaigns; donor and funder stewardship (working with the Chief Executive’s Office); developing and maintaining an income pipeline; and identifying new opportunities to diversify our income streams.

Key Tasks & Activities

Implementing and further developing Humanists UK’s grants, trusts, and foundations fundraising strategy, with key tasks including:

• Researching new funding prospects

• Maintaining and growing our funding pipeline.

• Supporting colleagues across the organisation to develop, bid for, and report on appropriate projects for funding

• Writing clear and compelling funding bids, proposals, and appeals, and produce timely, high-quality reports for funders

We’re looking for a part-time Trusts Fundraising Officer to contribute their skills, experience, and personality to add value to our Trusts team within the Fundraising department at Blesma, The Limbless Veterans.

This home-based role is now available due to the current post holder moving on to new pastures. The Trust team has had incredible success in recent years, which we are eager to sustain and grow. The successful candidate will provide support to the Trusts Fundraising Manager and work alongside a fellow part-time Trusts Fundraising Officer within this ambitious team.

You would have opportunity for creative writing about our projects for funding applications and project reports, and with scope to develop the role you might find yourself writing blog posts, newsletters and so on. You would have the chance to network with other NGOs and funders at events and international development conferences. You may have the opportunity to travel to south Asia or Africa for project evaluation or conferences / networking, subject to funding. As you gain experience, there may be scope for you to contribute to project design. 

You will be working in a friendly, professional environment in a building that acts as a hub for social justice organisations, with many opportunities to participate in activities offered by the building’s community. 

Role description / person specification:

You would undertake research to identify new potential funding partners, write grant applications, and manage successful partnerships. You would write project funding proposals primarily to trusts and foundations, corporate foundations, and statutory sources. Some charity-sector fundraising experience is desirable. Experience in fundraising from trusts / foundations in particular would be an advantage. The ability to draft inspiring narratives for different audiences is a crucial aspect of this role. You must also be comfortable using spreadsheets and have strong attention to detail, as you would be working with project budgets. You would research and attend relevant events and identify other such opportunities to promote Pragya’s work, to network, and to learn about the latest research and trends in international development. You would contribute to Pragya’s social media posts and campaigns. A basic level of knowledge about video editing and media tools like Canva would be an advantage.

The UK branch of Pragya is a small team, and so you must be capable of using your initiative and managing your own workload. You would need to prioritise your commitments and work to deadlines as needed. You would contribute to the charity’s administrative needs.

This is a role that demands commitment and offers strong career development in the international development sector. Purpose
This role plays a key part in strengthening Involve Kent’s ability to secure sustainable, values-aligned income that enables our mission: ensuring people and communities have the support, connections, and opportunities they need to thrive.
As a Grants & Bids Development Officer, you will help shape the future of our services by developing compelling, evidence-based applications to charitable trusts, foundations, and public sector commissioners. Your work will directly contribute to tackling inequality, expanding access to support, and driving positive change across Kent and Medway.
You will be part of a collaborative development function that is curious, positive, and committed to learning. Working closely with colleagues across operational teams, you will translate real-world insight into powerful cases for support, ensuring our bids are grounded in lived experience, strong evidence, and Involve Kent’s values.
The primary focus is trusts and bids. Legacy stewardship is welcome but not essential and will be proportionate to capacity.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
1) Trusts & Foundations
• Pipeline management: Maintain and develop a rolling, well-qualified trusts pipeline with a clear annual submission calendar.

• Proposal drafting: Produce compelling, tailored proposals and reports aligned to funder criteria, organisational priorities, and impact goals.
• Impact & budgeting: Work with service leads and Finance to evidence need, outcomes, and impact; align restricted budgets; draft clear budget narratives and simple throughput justifications.
• Compliance: Maintain accurate records of applications, grant conditions, and reporting schedules to agreed timelines and standards.
• Reporting: Produce a weekly opportunities update and a monthly snapshot summarising pipeline status and next steps.

2) Contracts (Public Sector Bids)
• Horizon scanning & qualification: Monitor procurement portals; complete eligibility matrices; assemble bid packs; maintain a concise tender pipeline.
• Bid/no-bid support: Prepare clear opportunity summaries to inform go/no-go decisions; deliver activity in line with approved timelines.
• Compliance & readiness: Conduct eligibility and compliance checks; maintain a simple risk and dependency register for live tenders; escalate risks promptly.
• Document control & content library: Maintain a secure shared drive, up-to-date bid library, version-controlled documents, and reusable answer bank; assemble clean, compliant bid submissions.
• Drafting: Produce first drafts of standard non-technical narrative sections (approach, social value, summaries) and refine with input from subject specialists.
• Partner engagement: Coordinate partner contributions and collate documentation where collaborating on joint bids.

3) Legacy (Light-Touch)
• Stewardship: Deliver simple, proportionate stewardship as agreed each month - maintain a basic journey (welcome, updates, pledge logging), keep template copy current, and handle basic enquiries.

4) Insight & Governance
• Compliance: Ensure accurate data capture, confidentiality, and information governance compliance.
• Debrief: Log win/lose feedback and use insights to strengthen templates, processes, and content.
• Reporting: Track and report monthly KPIs; contribute insight to broader forecasting discussions.

5) Organisational Responsibilities

Bowel Cancer UK is the UK’s leading bowel cancer charity. We’re determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer. Job Summary - Senior Research Officer

We are seeking a confident and organised Senior Research Officer to join our small but ambitious Research Team. This is a hands-on role with real scope to contribute to how we fund and manage research, and to make a genuine difference to a programme that's helping to save lives.
 

The Senior Research Officer will lead the delivery of our grant funding processes from end to end - managing application rounds, overseeing the active portfolio, coordinating our scientific committees, supporting our research events and leading our approach to patient and public involvement in research. Working in a small, specialist team means you'll also have real scope to contribute ideas, help improve how we do things, and play a meaningful part in the development of the research programme beyond the day-to-day.

Interviews will be held on Thursday 16 April.
