We’re not a traditional funder. Our grants tend to be small, but they punch above their weight, helping social and environmental entrepreneurs take the next step to grow their organisations. Our grants run alongside learning programmes, challenging and supporting leaders. We’re innovative in how we do this, through both traditional and enterprise grants. We lead on Match Trading™, a grant that challenges leaders to grow their trading income, and we are working on further grants innovations.

You will work with our Grants Team, Project Co-ordinators and Assessment Lead to develop and support grant management across a range of programmes. Your role will be to lead on specific programmes, including supporting assessment, onboarding and grant management. You will ensure that grantees are fully supported to manage their grants and ensure that grant management is compliant, auditable, efficient, and timely. You will support the development of grant policies and processes, writing grant paperwork and documentation, overseeing payments, and reporting to the wider Programmes Team and others about our work.

You don’t need to have managed grants before, but you do need to have a good understanding of a wide range enterprises and charities, gained through experience of training, business consultancy or development support. You will have a good understanding of business models, legal structures and financial systems that social and environmental organisations and community run and owned businesses may use. You will need to understand social enterprise finances, be able to read accounts, budgets, cashflows and have a good knowledge of social enterprise income streams.

We need someone who understands how hard it is to start up and grow social and environmental enterprises and can support people from diverse backgrounds in managing their grant, finances and growing their business.

Role Purpose 

The Chief Executive Officer will provide strategic, operational and values-led leadership for Home-Start Norfolk, ensuring the charity delivers its mission, supports its families effectively and remains financially sustainable. Working closely with the Board of Trustees, the CEO will lead the organisation’s strategy, people, services, partnerships, governance, income generation and volunteer strategy, while acting as an ambassador for the charity and its work.

Strategic Leadership 

• Lead the development and delivery of the charity’s strategic plan in partnership with the Board of Trustees.

Financial Leadership and Income Generation 

• Provide overall leadership for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and long-term sustainability. 

• Work with trustees and senior colleagues to ensure resources are used effectively and in line with charitable objectives. 

• Lead the development of a diverse and resilient income strategy, including grants, trusts and foundations, individual giving, corporate partnerships, contracts and other appropriate income streams.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, and supporting our small talented highly talented Team your key tasks will be to:

· assist staff managing project finances ;

·       support the development of donor project budgets;

·       take a principlal role in supporting financial compliance;

·       support IM to fulfil its accountability to funders 

You will be part or fully qualified, with at least 4 years’ progressive experience supporting charity financial management including budget compilation, donor reports and grant management.  With excellent MS Excel skills and experience of Sage 50 and ExpenseIn or similar systems, you will have outstanding attention to detail and excellent oral and written English communication skills.

You will be dynamic and keen to move to the next stage in your career, you are a problem solver with a GSOH who thrives in a small, fast-paced high-calibre international team where everyone pitches in. Greyhound Rescue Wales (GRW) is Wales’ leading charity dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming greyhounds and lurchers. Founded in 1993, we have spent more than three decades championing the welfare of sighthounds and working towards our vision: a Wales without greyhound racing, where every greyhound and lurcher has a home and receives the best possible care.

In April 2026, after 25 years of determined campaigning to improve welfare and regulation within the racing industry, legislation to ban greyhound racing in Wales was finally passed. The Head of Fundraising is a senior leadership role with overall accountability for the strategic development, operational effectiveness and performance of all fundraising activity at Greyhound Rescue Wales (GRW).

The role will drive, lead and grow our fundraising strategy and has responsibility for developing diverse, sustainable income streams and building strong relationships with supporters, partners, and funders.

The role holds end‑to‑end accountability for income delivery across trusts and foundations, community and event fundraising, and sponsorship and individual giving.

Founded in 1860, Providence Row is a specialist homelessness charity working in East London and the City, deliberately operating at the most acute end of the homelessness spectrum.

The charity reaches around 1,200 individuals (annually) with the most deep-rooted needs; people whose interlinking mental and physical health, and trauma and substance use challenges mean they often struggle to access mainstream support. Providence Row provides a wide range of Crisis and Progression services including showers, meals, advice & support, health and wellbeing services, drug and alcohol harm reduction, psychotherapy, a hospital discharge service, and learning, training and work-readiness programmes, amongst others. In 2025/26, we supported 1,270 people through 36,313 tailored interventions.

The Senior Trusts and Foundations Officer is responsible for researching prospects, developing applications and managing deadlines to maintain and develop a strong portfolio of small and medium trust and foundation supporters, securing sustainable income for all aspects of The Brain Tumour Charity’s work in line with fundraising priorities. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative and ambitious team.

You will manage and maintain a pipeline of compelling and well-written applications and reports being submitted to small and medium trusts and foundations, ensuring excellent cultivation and stewardship of these relationships. You will work with a wide variety of people including funders, volunteers and colleagues across The Charity to gather the information you need. WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

We are looking for an experienced trust fundraiser with a proven record of writing successful applications, achieving four and five figure sums and multi-year grants and stewarding these relationships. You will have the ability to develop detailed and creative proposals and supporting budgets, with excellent written communication skills, research skills and a strong eye for detail and accuracy. You will work well with other teams to gather information, be able to work independently, meet deadlines and prioritise your workload.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Responsible for identifying and researching trusts and foundations, conducting due diligence checks and building a pipeline of prospects whose funding priorities resonate with the work of The Charity.

• Managed by the Trusts and Prospect Research Manager, develop and manage a portfolio of applications and reports in accordance with deadlines and fundraising priorities.

• Submit relevant, professional and inspiring applications and project proposals to small and medium trusts, securing multi-year awards wherever possible.

• Work with multiple departments to gather information, case studies, budgets and project updates to write compelling applications and reports.

• Manage trust relationships by maintaining existing relationships and being aware of each trust’s preferences and requirements. Optimising giving potential and long-term support through excellent stewardship and donor care.

The Head of Grants will take a leading role in shaping The Childhood Trust’s grant-making approach. This is both a strategic and practical role - the postholder will manage the full cycle for our existing grant-making (Big Give) campaign and oversee a small team. Working closely with the Director of Programmes and Impact, Chief Executive, Senior Leadership Team and Board, they will use evidence, learning and sector insight to help design and deliver the next phase of The Childhood Trust’s grant-making programme. This is a role for someone who can work independently, take ownership and make things happen. 

The postholder will also use their experience and sector knowledge to recommend and implement new ways of supporting the sector through our new capacity building programme (Thrive Together), ensuring that The Childhood Trust’s grant-making is both innovative and impactful. The Grants Compliance Officer plays an important role in supporting the effective financial management and oversight of AmplifyChange's grant portfolio. Working as part of the Grants Compliance Team, you'll help ensure grant funding reaches our Grantee Partners, is used for its intended purpose and is managed in line with our compliance and donor requirements.

Reporting to the Grants Compliance Manager, you'll lead the financial management of your own portfolio of grants, supporting due diligence assessments, reviewing financial reports and budgets, monitoring compliance, and helping to strengthen the financial management capacity of Grantee Partners. You'll work closely with colleagues across the Grants Support Team, Finance, Operations and Learning, Monitoring and Evaluation, providing practical advice and support throughout the grant lifecycle.

AmplifyChange is a bilingual fund, and this role has a particular focus on supporting French-speaking Grantee Partners across Africa, South Asia and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. Fluency in spoken and written French is therefore essential.

This is a varied and rewarding role that combines financial analysis, relationship management and organisational strengthening. You'll build trusted relationships with Grantee Partners while helping to safeguard grant funding and support the delivery of high-quality projects.

The role includes some international travel to visit Grantee Partners and support compliance activities will be required.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Grant Compliance and Financial Management

You'll support effective financial management and compliance across your grant portfolio by:

• Managing a portfolio of approximately 100–120 grants.
• Reviewing and approving project budgets, providing detailed feedback and guidance to Grantee Partners.
• Reviewing and approving financial reports, providing advice on budget management, exchange rates and financial compliance.
• Supporting Grantee Partners with budget revisions where required.
• Reviewing documentation relating to due diligence recommendations, supporting ongoing compliance and organisational strengthening.

Due Diligence and Risk Management

You'll help safeguard AmplifyChange's funding by:

• Supporting funding round processes, including financial eligibility checks, initial financial assessments, due diligence and operational support.

WORKING ARRANGEMENTS

Reports to the Grants Compliance Manager.

This is a full-time role (37.5 hours per week).

Some international travel to visit Grantee Partners and support compliance activities will be required.

AmplifyChange operates a hybrid working model, with at least one day per week based in our Bath office. Requests for flexible working arrangements will be considered.

About the organisation

Curieus Games CIC is a UK Community Interest Company, in the process of converting into a CIO (Charitable Incorporated Organisation). Our mission is to raise energy literacy through play. We make energy and climate education fun and accessible. Our vision is to inspire and attract young people to work in the energy sector.

Our flagship programme, Megawatt, consists of an energy-based educational card game supported by a series of workshops. The object of the programme is to engage students on energy and sustainability through gamification and ethical debates.

Job summary

We're looking for an organised, proactive individual to own the day-to-day running of our grant pipeline. This will range from researching grant opportunities and drafting applications, through to managing compliance, tracking grant finances, and delivering funder reports. You’ll be working closely with the Founder and School Engagement Manager.

Job outline

Grant applications

• Research new grant opportunities and maintain accurate records of live grants and deadlines.
• Draft and submit grant applications, with support from the Founder.
• Coordinate with the School Engagement Manager to identify eligible schools and handover successful grants for delivery.

Grant administration, finances and compliance

• Manage grant conditions, compliance and funder reporting from award through to close.
• Monitor spend against grant budgets and flag underspend or overspend.
• Support the development of improved operations and processes for grant management.
• Identify new income streams and fundraising opportunities.

Essential criteria

• Organised, detail-oriented and independent.
• Experience in grant administration, fundraising support, or charity operations.
• Confident written communicator.
• Comfortable managing finances at the level of budget tracking and reporting.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote, small-team environment.
• Proficient with digital tools.
• Must be a UK resident with the right to work in the UK.

Desirable criteria

• Experience writing grant applications, particularly for charitable trusts, foundations, or public sector funders.
• Experience working in or with the education sector.
• Familiarity with restricted fund management and charity finances.
• Knowledge of or interest in energy, sustainability, or climate education.
• Experience building or improving operational systems and processes.

Salary and benefits

• £36,000 gross FTE (pro rata)
• Around 22.5 hours per week, fully remote with flexible working hours, with an option to work term time only

Job Title: Grant-making Officer

Salary: £30,000–34,000

Hours: Full-time (40 hours/week) or Part-time (min 24 hours/week) 

Location: Central London / Hybrid (1-2 days in office per week)

Annual Leave: 25 days paid annual leave, increasing by 1 day per year of service (up to 28 days), plus an additional day for your birthday or key LGBTQI event and time off over the Christmas week.

GiveOut is an award-winning international LGBTQI community foundation bringing together our community and allies to support LGBTQI activism worldwide.

Across the world, courageous activists are working tirelessly to protect LGBTQI communities and advance equality. But they lack resources and funding is fragile, especially in the Global South. LGBTQI groups receive a tiny fraction of international development aid.

About the Role

As Grant-Making Officer, you will support the delivery of GiveOut's grant-making programme, helping ensure that funding reaches LGBTQI activist organisations efficiently, responsibly and in line with GiveOut's values and grant-making policies.

Reporting to the Grant-Making Manager, you will coordinate key aspects of the grant-making cycle, support grant partners throughout the grant lifecycle, and help maintain the systems, processes and relationships that underpin GiveOut's grant-making programme.

Bringing a passion for international LGBTQI human rights, you will build meaningful relationships with LGBTQI activists and organisations across the globe while developing your expertise in international grant-making.

Key Responsibilities

Grant-Making Programme Delivery

• Support the delivery of GiveOut's annual grant-making programme and grant portfolio.

• Coordinate the annual grant-making cycle, ensuring documentation, timelines and communications are delivered on time.

• Prepare due diligence assessments, grant agreements and other grant documentation for review by the Grant-Making Manager.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date grants management records. 

Grant Partner Relationships

• Build and maintain positive, responsive relationships with grant partners.

• Coordinate grant partner visits and engagement activities, including developing itineraries, supporting travel arrangements and coordinating logistics with colleagues and grant partners.

• Support the Grant-Making Manager in coordinating in-kind consultancy and pro bono support opportunities between grant partners and GiveOut's corporate and legal partners. 

Monitoring, Reporting, Evaluation & Learning

• Coordinate the collection of narrative and financial reports from grant partners.

• Maintain accurate monitoring and reporting records across the grant portfolio.

• Support the Grant-Making Manager and Senior Communications Officer to capture grant partner updates, impact, learning and evidence for organisational learning, external communications, and donor reporting.

Sector Expertise & Representation

• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of developments in global LGBTQI movements and international human rights.

• Share relevant sector insights with colleagues to inform GiveOut's work.

• Represent GiveOut at meetings and events where appropriate.

• Positive, trusting relationships with grant partners built on transparency and respect.

• Smooth delivery of grant-making cycles, with all processes completed on time and to a high standard.

• Grant partner reporting, impact and learning are captured accurately and shared to support organisational learning and donor communications.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Experience in grant-making, grant administration, programme coordination, or a related field (e.g. international development, social impact, research or NGO administration).

• Demonstrated commitment to or connection with the LGBTQI community.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across cultures.

• Excellent organisational and project management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

• A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and take ownership of tasks. 

• A collaborative team player who actively contributes to a positive, inclusive, and high-performing organisational culture, aligned with GiveOut’s vision and values.

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Awareness of global LGBTQI movements and international human rights.

• Understanding of grant-making theory, processes, and best practices.

• Experience with grants management databases and tools.

• Experience collaborating with communications teams to develop impact stories, case studies, articles, or digital content. 

• Experience collecting or coordinating monitoring and reporting information for grant-funded programmes.

• Working proficiency in a second language (French, Spanish, Arabic, Swahili, ect.) 

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.

• Familiarity with Google Workspace tools (e.g., Docs, Sheets, Drive).

• Working with the Head of Fundraising & Communications to forecast income and contribute to long term fundraising planning
• Working closely with programme, finance, and research and impact teams to gather accurate data, budgets, and stories
