We have developed the first, internationally accredited, upper secondary level programme for out of school refugees and crisis affected youth, and currently reach approximately 1400 students a year. As demand for our education programmes continues to grow, and in line with our 2024-2027 strategic plan, we aim to triple the number of young people we serve, reaching at least 5,800 students per year by 2027. Our bold vision is that millions of refugee youth have access to transformative education by 2040. 

Our team is fully remote, with our Global Team based in the UK, Canada, Singapore and Greece. We also have two learning centres, one in Amman, Jordan and one in Kakuma Refugee Camp, Kenya and work with a growing list of partners across Kenya, Uganda and Malaysia. 

The Opportunity:

This is where this new role comes in: The Head of Fundraising will play a crucial role in supporting the stewardship of the current donors while also securing the vital resources needed to realise our bold ambition and help us transform the lives of millions of young refugees and conflict affected youth across the globe.

You will be part of leading a growing and changing organisation, and will work closely with Amala’s two Co-founders and the Fundraising Manager to develop and implement a multi-year fundraising strategy, cultivate and deepen key donor relationships and boost our income growth from our current £800k towards our £3 million target by 2027, driving the financial sustainability necessary for Amala’s continued growth and impact.

Who we are looking for:

A strategic, entrepreneurial and ambitious senior fundraiser with a proven track record of securing significant UK and international funding (£1m+ annual income generation), developing high-impact strategies, and building strong donor relationships. You will be an inspiring leader with exceptional people management skills, with experience in leading growing organisations, and who enjoys the strategic side of the role as well as having a hands on approach. 

The role would be best suited to someone who is committed to making a difference to the lives of young refugees, with a strong grounding in international charity sector fundraising. and international funding.

Essential experience:

• Proven experience in a senior fundraising management role within the non-profit sector, ideally within international development.

• A proven track record of success in fundraising, particularly in developing and executing complex fundraising strategies for a growing non-profit organisation.

• Experience developing and implementing multi-year income generation plans.

• A strong history of securing six-figure, multi-year grants and contracts in the UK and internationally, with an annual income generation of £1m+.

• Senior-level experience managing relationships with multiple, diverse funders and donors.

• Experience writing successful partnership bids, grant proposals, cases for support, and theories of change.

• Experience in leading change in a growing organisation.

• At least three years of experience leading and managing a team, with a track record of developing and supporting staff.

What we offer:

This full time, fully remote position offers a salary of £50,000-55,000 if you are a UK resident. If you reside in a different location, the salary will be adjusted accordingly. You will work closely with a driven, collaborative, entrepreneurial and supportive team from around the world, and you are required to be in a time zone GMT +/- 3 hours.

Luminary Ltd provides training, employment and community to some of the most disadvantaged women in London. The role

Five years + experience in fundraising contributing to strategy as well as delivery.

Demonstrated  success in fundraising  with a proven track record of securing significant income from trusts and foundations, and/or major donors and corporate partners.
Skilled in relationship-based fundraising with experience of donor cultivation and stewardship to secure long-term partnerships.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop compelling funding proposals, persuasive pitches and impactful reports.
Experience in financial planning including creating and managing budgets, and financial analysis skills to track and report income performance.
Strategic and innovative thinker able to identify, assess and pursue new funding opportunities aligned with charity goals.

We have a great opportunity for a Head of Fundraising working for the fantastic City Year UK (CYUK), an empowering youth charity.  This is an exciting chance to grow the fundraising team, focused on securing funding from corporates, foundations and trusts. This role will report to the Director of Development and External Relations (DEE) and will work directly with the SLT.

As part of this exciting role, you will support and implement fundraising goals to sustain and grow CYUK, line manage the Development Team, and lead on new business opportunities, securing long-term financial prospects.

To be successful as the Head of Fundraising, you will need:

• Extensive experience working in a fundraising environment and demonstrable experience of developing and securing five to six-figure corporate partnerships
• Strong interpersonal, relationship-building and presentation skills with an ability to engage and inspire a wide range of audiences
• Experience in managing fundraising income budgets, forecasting and financial planning

React is a small, well regarded, charity that was established in 1989.  It provides Rapid Effective Assistance to Children with Potentially Terminal illness.

React works to give children comfort, dignity and where possible, greater independence. 

We supply essential equipment that is not available through the NHS or local authority, from specialist wheelchairs, beds, baths and mobility aids to essential everyday homecare items like pushchairs and domestic appliances.

We also provide our families with holidays and the opportunity to create special memories at our mobile homes situated across the UK. 

Since the pandemic we have moved to a fully remote / home based working model.

The Role

We are seeking a passionate, creative and innovative fundraising professional with a history of successful income generation and fundraising development.

Khulisa, meaning 'nurture' in the Zulu language of South Africa, is an award-winning charity dedicated to providing therapeutic support to young people. We focus on reaching those who are most at risk – young people from deprived communities who are often marginalized, vulnerable to exclusion, and at heightened risk of becoming involved in crime.

Our approach centres on safe, exploratory methods that aim to understand behaviour and experiences often rooted in trauma, abuse, and neglect. We deliver intensive therapeutic programs within educational and community settings, empowering young people to confront the underlying causes of their emotional distress and work toward healing.

The Role: We are looking for someone with a strong track record in fundraising and grant management, who is particularly motivated to join Khulisa because of a deep commitment to our mission – supporting the wellbeing and mental health of young people.

The post holder will be required to work from home permanently but be willing and able to easily travel to various locations as necessary to fulfill the requirements of the role and to engage with stakeholders and colleagues.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Director of Corporate Services to join our Senior Management Team and provide expert leadership of our Corporate Services Directorate, specifically our facilities, finance, IT and registration teams, as well as carry responsibility for audit, risk and assurance, and support our Audit, Risk and Finance and Investment Committees. Reporting to the Chief Executive and Registrar, this is a high-profile and satisfying role requiring credible and visible leadership, demonstrable business expertise and high attention to detail, underpinned by adherence to GOC values and active promotion of equality, diversity and inclusion, enabling everyone who works for the GOC to give their best for the maintenance of public confidence in the professions we regulate and the public we serve.

You will join our senior management team (SMT) at an exciting time. For the third year in a row we have met all 18 of the Professional Standards Authority’s (PSA) Standards of Good Regulation, and through harnessing the ideas and talents of all our people you will help successfully realise our new strategy ‘Safe and effective eye care for all’, alongside sharing collective responsibility for the GOC’s overall management and smooth operation, where our focus is to consolidate and extend our achievements in our ambition to be a world class regulator.

A key focus here is learning lessons from never events and engaging with PSA’s review of our performance in this area. We are also making a significant investment from our reserves to improve our digital infrastructure. This includes implementing a new MyGOC platform, with the build phase just launched. We anticipate this will deliver improvements to our digital interface with our registrants, and to our ability to provide excellent customer-service. as well as facilitate positive operational improvements. Our digital-first strategy describes our ambitions for the next five years to be a digitally enabled, cyber secure organisation, including through the appropriate use of AI, ensuring all our people are fully supported in their use of our digital environment.

We have recently moved office into temporary accommodation at One Canada Square, with a second move planned into our new office in late June 2025. Your leadership of our facilities team will be central to managing this move, identifying and managing risks and capitalising on the opportunities a new office will bring to the development of our internal culture.

In addition, your strategic leadership of our expert finance team will ensure our effective financial management, regulatory compliance and optimisation of resources, and ensuring our financial resilience, and continuously improving and managing our financial capabilities so that we are best placed to finance our functions efficiently.
