We’re looking for a Legacy Campaign Manager, who will be responsible for delivering multiple legacy products, with a particular focus on supporter acquisition. 

What does this role do?
As Legacy Campaign Manager, you will:

• work closely with external agencies to deliver key legacy products, including gifts in wills, In Memoriam gifts and our Canine Care Card,
• creatively bring our brand message to life, communicating products to potential supporters through direct mail, and digital updates,
• collaborate with other teams in the Individual Giving directorate to deliver an excellent supporter journey to all those who donate, from handling individual responses to delivering stewardship events,

About the Role

The Queen’s Reading Room is funded entirely by grants, donations, sponsorship and income from events. We’re looking for a vibrant and well-connected individual to join the small but agile team, to lead this function within the charity and design and set up a fundraising committee. You will build on a strong base of income generation and work to sustain and expand it.

You will be responsible for building the fundraising strategy with the charity’s CEO and Board of Trustees; for identifying appropriate opportunities to generate funding in the UK and internationally; and for the targets agreed by the CEO and board. Your role will include devising and creating fundraising events; securing sponsorship for events and festivals; contributing to the writing and submitting of funding applications to charitable trusts and foundations; and advising and providing suitable copy for fundraising marketing and digital materials. As Head of Philanthropy & Partnerships, you will:

• Lead high-value fundraising across corporates, trusts, and major donors, ensuring income is maximised whether or not an appeal is live
• During appeals (typically one or two per year), deliver high-value income during national emergencies
• Oversee stewardship and account management of DEC’s partners, supporting managers to deliver exceptional relationships.
• Drive key strategic projects, including:
  • Refreshing the Rapid Response Network framework and offers
  • Embedding a core costs ask across corporates and trusts
  • Developing an emergency fund outside appeals to allow funders to plan contributions
  • Contributing to a major donor review and overseeing investment in trusts & foundations
  • Introducing wealth screening and segmentation for the first time
• Lead the mid-term review of DEC’s five-year strategy, assessing pipeline, budget deployment, and future investment
  priorities
• Provide oversight, stability, and external perspective to a strong, long-standing team

About you

We’re looking for a dynamic, hands-on fundraising leader who can balance delivery with strategy and thrive in both steady-state and high-pressure contexts.

The role would best suit someone with: 

• Significant corporate fundraising expertise, with a strong track record in account management of complex, high-value partnerships
• Experience managing staff (minimum two people)
• Adaptable, proactive, and confident leading income delivery during fast-moving appeals
• Clear passion for DEC’s humanitarian mission and ability to inspire confidence with partners
• Trusts & foundations or major donor experience is desirable

About the role

Fundraising plays an important role in the sustainability of The Brilliant Club, and this is only set to grow in our next strategy. The Fundraising Officer will be responsible for building relationships and creating excellent experiences for a portfolio of supporters and prospective supporters, to help us over raise over £1.4 million each year.

Supporters will be mainly Trusts & Foundations, but also some corporates and individuals. The role will include writing applications for funding, renewing existing partnerships and writing compelling funding reports. The Fundraising Officer will also be responsible for tracking the charity’s fundraising using our databases and CRM system, and for our ambassador programme.

The successful candidate will have experience working as part of a fundraising team, or have transferable skills from a similar external-facing role. They will have a proven ability to confidently build relationships with external stakeholders and have excellent written communication skills. Attention to detail, strong organisational skills and experience using a CRM system are also key qualities for this role.

While this role can be based at either our Leeds or London office, we expect some travel will be required (mainly to London) for events and to attend in-person meetings with colleagues and funders. The role will report into the Head of Fundraising.

What you’ll do:

• Lead and grow the charity’s community fundraising programme, overseeing an established team of 4 to ensure exceptional supporter experience.
• Develop and implement a multi-year fundraising strategy with clear KPIs, collaborating with the Director of Fundraising & Marketing, Head of Philanthropy & Partnerships and Head of Marketing & Communications to deliver sustained income growth across the Charity. 

• Drive innovation across challenge events, in-memory giving and supporter care, horizon-scanning for new trends, opportunities and propositions to maximise ROI.

• Collaborate with senior colleagues to build visibility and support across the Charity’s partner hospitals.
• Strengthen stewardship and supporter journeys for high-value community supporters, working with philanthropy colleagues to deepen relationships.

What we’re looking for:

• A proven track record of delivering and growing successful community & public fundraising programmes, with a track record of developing new fundraising products to drive income growth.
• Experience of leading, motivating and developing fundraising teams.
• Strong background in strategy development, budgeting and income forecasting.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills across diverse audiences.
• Skilled at developing compelling supporter journeys and excellent stewardship.
• A strong track record of delivery across challenge events, third-party fundraising and in-memory giving.

JOB DESCRIPTION 

We are seeking a Head of Partnerships & Events to join our highly successful Philanthropy team. In this role, you will work closely with the Director of Fundraising & Communications to develop and enhance our Corporate and Special Events Programme. This is very much a hands-on role of team leadership and direct account management. This includes six figure partners and our key relationships with Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, The Dorchester Hotel and international insurer Fidelis. Special Events include our Winter Ball which raises over £500k annual and our Golf Day at around £100k. The post-holder has a key role in the management of our Philanthropy & Corporate Board, which bring together industry leader to help move both these programmes forward. There is great freedom to innovate and a healthy pool of local business with an affinity to our cause. The post-holder takes a key leadership role across fundraising and marketing, working with their peers (Heads) and Director to take strategic decisions for wider benefit of the department. Having invested in the team’s capacity, we aim to grow income from c. £1.5m to £2m over the next few years. This in the broader context of a total voluntary income target for the charity of £5m-£6m.

The Head of Partnerships & Events leads a team of two currently, although this may increase. We have a Corporate Manager and Events Manger with support from the Philanthropy Officer.  You will play a key role in building and maintaining relationships with existing and prospective partners of Noah’s Ark. You will ensure our partners have the best possible experience, making them feel engaged and motivated, valued and informed about the impact of their involvement and help them achieve their organisation’s objectives.

It's an exciting time to join the fundraising team at Prostate Cancer UK as we deliver on a new strategy. We've seen an upward trend in our fundraising income over the last decade and we're anticipating further growth in the next five years. We're introducing new roles to transform how we work and intentionally integrate our individual giving with our work across fundraising, brand and health awareness. You'll play a vital role within our successful mass fundraising function, helping us strengthen our propositions to acquire new supporters and secure long-term support.

In this key role, you'll be at the forefront of developing and delivering our individual giving strategy. You'll lead on the acquisition of new supporters and work to diversify our channels based on supporter insights. A crucial part of your work will be to create and deliver engaging supporter journeys across all touchpoints, ensuring our donors are at the heart of everything we do.

You'll oversee our legacy marketing program and review our legacy stewardship, strengthening long-term relationships with people who intend to leave a gift in their will. Working with both internal teams and external agencies, you'll develop and deliver high-quality, compelling propositions.

As a leader, you'll provide guidance and support for the Individual Giving team, helping to deliver our ambitious fundraising strategy. We’re looking for an experienced leader with a strong track record of growing income from individual supporters. As a people manager, you’ll inspire and motivate your team, creating a supportive environment where great ideas thrive and excellent results are achieved. You’ll also be confident working with senior stakeholders, using your clear and persuasive communication style to build strong, collaborative relationships across the organisation.

We’re seeking someone who is both strategic and hands-on, comfortable with business planning, budgeting and forecasting, while also using testing and analysis to refine approaches and improve performance. You’ll be skilled at managing budgets and suppliers effectively, with a sound understanding of data protection and fundraising regulation, ensuring all activity is delivered to the highest standards. You’ll have experience of managing risk and navigating challenging situations, like how to develop supporters beyond being a one-off donor. You’ll bring a reliable voice as the subject matter expert for individual giving.
