The Research and Impact Lead role brings scope for dynamic collaboration across the organization, and creativity in applying research and evaluation expertise to a range of opportunities. The Research and Impact Lead will shape, drive and deliver a range of learning activities. They will be a voice for evidence-based decision making within BookTrust, ensuring that we put the needs of children, families, and our delivery partners at the heart of our work.
In this role we are looking for an experienced mixed methods researcher to oversee our MEL approach, develop and deliver new learning and funding partnerships and contribute to our portfolio of cross departmental learning activities – working to deliver research activities or supporting our team of in-house researchers through providing steer and quality assurance.

The Events Manager is a crucial role at the College, as you will be responsible for the planning and delivery of the College’s annual flagship conference. As Events Manager, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers to ensure this event is executed to an exemplary standard.
You will manage the Conference Committee and work closely with College Officers, Members and internal colleagues including the Creative Content and Marketing, Children and Young People and Corporate Services Teams to deliver our high-profile conference. Helping to ensure impactful campaigns are created to drive delegate registration and engagement, you will also be responsible for producing detailed project plans and RASCIs for the conference.
Reporting to the Head of Events, you will provide support with the tracking of event expenditure, managing supplier procurement processes and negotiating with suppliers to guarantee value for money. About the role
This role is available at an important time for The Access Project as we expand our mission, seek to pilot a new programme model, and move into new school contexts. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader who is comfortable working across teams to make change. You’ll be the lead and expert on The Access Project’s in-school university readiness work with responsibility for designing and quality assuring the provision, supporting the learning and development for our school-based staff to effectively deliver the programme content. This position is integral to ensuring The Access Project is delivering a high-quality programme that supports the needs of our students and drives the outcomes of the programme across all regions and schools. 1) Design & Development
- Act as a senior collaborator to the annual programme design process. Work with the Head of Process Improvement & Programme Quality to incorporate University Access Officer, Programme Leadership, school, and student feedback on how best to drive our short term and long-term outcomes across our programmes.
- Project manage the implementation of changes driven out of programme design. This includes the creation of or changes to delivery resources and training materials, as well as to our university readiness framework and the Salesforce system that supports delivery.

The Rehabilitation of Offenders 1974 (Exceptions) (Amendment) Order 1986 applies to posts where there is access to children.
