About the role

As the Area Service Manager, you will be accountable for ensuring our contracts with partners and/or commissioners deliver to the highest standards, in a way that creates maximum impact.

Across Yorkshire, you will lead on the delivery of our coaching and behaviour change programmes alongside managing our expanding housing portfolio and housing support services. You will take responsibility for growing the business across Yorkshire with existing partners, other organisations and via Local Authority contracts.

As a member of the national Joint Leadership Team (JLT), you will help to shape and develop our services and products, ensuring that the EF’s growth remains rooted in our organisational values of respect, accountability, and integrity.

Our current contracts cover Leeds, Kirklees, and York, and you will be required to work across varying sites. You will directly manage a team of Service Managers and Team Leaders and be responsible for a growing staff team of over 25 individuals.

About you

You are an experienced operational leader who has a proven track record in managing front-line substance misuse, recovery and/or housing services.

As a values-led manager, you have a passion for developing services and staff to be the best they can be.

Organisation, planning, and communication skills come naturally to you, as you will managing competing priorities across a large geographical area.

You are flexible and can work autonomously, managing your own diary based on service needs.

The Trusts and Foundations Officer will support the Trusts and Foundations team to meet income targets and develop and maintain relationships with donors and prospects. What you do  

Main purpose of post 

This role will lead our individual giving campaigns ensuring key audiences see the impact of the charity and are motivated to donate to support the continuation of our work.  It will build on existing successful campaigns, including our Christmas Star appeal, and create new and engaging additions.  You will ensure the donor journey is sensitive, engaging and straightforward and place a high importance on the ongoing stewardship of donors.

You will report to the Head of Fundraising and work alongside our Fundraising Team to ensure plans align and budget targets are achieved. You will work closely with the Campaign Manager and Data Manager to target individual giving effectively across South Yorkshire, Bassetlaw and North Derbyshire. 

This is the perfect role for anyone who loves to plan and see those plans through to completion, who has excellent customer care skills and who is digitally savvy. You will enjoy working as part of a busy fundraising team and collaborating to achieve collective success.

Key Responsibilities  

· Lead and implement the individual giving donor journey to increase the charity’s individual gifts including regular and pay roll giving.

· Lead the creation of fundraising individual giving campaigns to recruit new donors, retain existing supporters and grow reach, engagement and income.

· Lead the development of new individual giving campaigns, working closely with the Campaign Manager, to deliver direct marketing campaigns across various channels, which enhance current supporters understanding of the difference their donation makes and also encourages new supporters to donate to our cause and projects.

· To create new individual giving income opportunities, including introducing a charity lottery.

· Review and evaluate campaigns against income and impact success factors and implement improvements.

· Maximise all gift aid opportunities within the agreed audiences.

· Be responsible for an income target of a minimum of £300,000 per annum.

· Manage relationships with existing supporters to ensure a high level of donor care is achieved whilst achieving and maximising income opportunities.

· Analyse and segment the charity's supporter base, developing appropriate supporter journeys and propositions, and the effective use of supporter data for campaign purposes.

Utilise digital methods and platforms for new donor acquisition

· To assist in the delivery of a range of donor, supporter and staff engagement events throughout the year in line with our donor recognition & stewardship plan.

· Contribute to development of the fundraising annual plan to drive forward the charity’s ambitious plans for change and growth in line with the 3 year strategy.

· Ensure that all activities and contacts are managed through the charity’s CRM (Raiser’s Edge).

· Ensure all fundraising activity complies with laws and best practice governing charitable activity, most notably General Data Protection Regulations, Fundraising Regulator Code of Practice and charity law.

· Attend and contribute to team meetings and 'away days' and be an active, invested member of our team.

· Ability and willingness to travel throughout the region to attend charity fundraising events.

· Able to work flexibly, including occasionally working in the evenings and at weekends.

 The Brent Centre for Young People is looking for an experienced, dynamic person to join its Clinical Administration Team.

The Brent Centre for Young People is a charity based in North West London (Kilburn) that provides psychotherapeutic treatments to young people aged 11-25 years, who suffer with emotional difficulties and have mental health needs. The Centre has an international reputation and delivers world-leading evidence-based practices to young people across North West London. On average, the centre helps over 700 young people per year through its In-house and Outreach Services.

We are looking for an experienced clinical administrator with strong people and communication skills to help run our clinical services.

This post is an exciting opportunity to be part both of supporting the growth of this new service and supporting clinical administration at the Brent Centre within an existing small team.

The suitable candidate will have at least two years’ experience of clinical and/or general administration and reception duties. This post will suit a confident, reliable individual with strong interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.

You will be expected to be confident in IT skills (including the use of Microsoft Excel to an intermediate level) and apply them to recording data accurately on a daily basis on our client database.

We are looking for someone who demonstrates a high level of professionalism, can work to regular deadlines, can problem solve when faced with difficult situations, adheres to confidentiality and can communicate professionally, politely and effectively with young patients, their families, our clinical and non-clinical staff team and our external contacts, such as GPs.

The post requires sensitivity to the needs of young people with emotional difficulties and the nature of therapeutic work and their families. Experience with young people or with mental health is advantageous.

You will be expected to work a range of shifts between 9.30am to 6pm, 10.30am to 7pm and 11.30am to 8pm, to be agreed.

YMCA DownsLink Group’s WiSE (What is Sexual Exploitation) Project is an innovative, award winning project working across East Sussex, Brighton & Hove and Surrey, with children and young people experiencing or at risk of sexual exploitation; as well as raising awareness of Child Sexual Exploitation and other forms of Child Criminal Exploitation.

We are looking for someone with the confidence to develop a new support offer for Surrey. This new post offers the opportunity to work in the WiSE team in Surrey in an exciting new role which has two strands to it; providing targeted early intervention peer group sessions to young people (up to 25 years,) who have been identified by their educational placement as being vulnerable too sexual or criminal exploitation. The role also entails working alongside Education and other agencies to prevent Violence Against Women and Girls by creating and facilitating training to teachers of the PSHE curriculum in both Primary and Secondary schools in Surrey. The successful applicant will be supported in the role through Reflective Supervision Practice, along with regular one-to-ones. 

This role will be based out of a Police Station in Surrey, which can be discussed at interview. There will be frequent travel and it is essential you hold a current driving license and have access to your own car.

Alongside this you will undertake administrative work to ensure the smooth running of Support Services, and deliver our flagship in person events.

Role Description

Volunteers

o Working with the CEO and Head of Support Services develop and deliver the Volunteering Strategy for the organisation.

o Work to significantly increase the inclusivity of volunteers and the work done by volunteers.

o Oversee the recruitment of volunteers and ensure appropriate induction in collaboration with relevant staff.

o Deliver mandatory initial and ongoing training for volunteers.

o Working with colleagues, produce and keep up-to-date policies, processes and forms, ensuring volunteers understand and use these resources.

o Provide day-to-day support to volunteers, working closely with the Head of Support Services.

o Manage all volunteer programme communications in collaboration with the Communications Officer including: ebulletins, website, social media and print materials.

o Collect and process feedback and statistics and compile reports on satisfaction and effectiveness as required.

o Provide specific support for volunteering roles including;

Helpline and Telephone Buddies

o Support the transition of the helpline to a new scheme such as our telephone buddy scheme

o Support and review the telephone buddy scheme

o In conjunction with the Head of Support Services, support the implementation and ongoing management of a new Facebook support group

o Collate statistics on helpline calls and report on this monthly.

Local Support Groups

o Support the establishment of online condition specific and new regional groups.

o Undertake visits to Local Support Groups as appropriate.

o Working with the Finance and Operations Manager support the groups to use funds they have raised.

Other Volunteers

o Support Office volunteers in their day to day work, being the first point of contact and allocating tasks.

o Working with the Head of Support Services contribute to the development of the Lived Experience Committee.

o Working with the Head of Fundraising support and engage Ambassador and Fundraising volunteers.

Support Service Coordination

o Ensure the CRM system is up to date with all Support Services information.

o Ensure all statistics relating to Support Services are up to date.

o Ensure Support Services’ phone systems and booked calls are effectively and efficiently set up.

o Ensure accurate record of all research and surveys we are asked to engage in and follow up on outcomes of that research.

o Undertake any small administrative duties as required.

o Where required, provide support in managing the helpline emails.

Support Services Events

o Lead on the development and delivery of three one day conference style events annually.  These will be held throughout the UK and will offer panel discussions and networking for our community. 

o In partnership with the wider team, occasionally represent The Foundation by running information stands, coordinating volunteers and preparing information for external events such as industry conferences.

o Where appropriate attend and present at external meetings.

o Support the management and delivery of the portfolio of online and in person events delivered by the Pituitary Foundation in conjunction with the wider team.

You will be a friendly, motivated, and active administrator who will play a key role in the smooth running of the property department.

• Assist with attending Unit Base Parking/Filming/Events on the estate, recording any infringements of agreements on site, and notifying the appropriate team member for further follow-on action.
• Preparing notification details for relevant authorities for entry and exit of tenants – rates, utilities, etc.
• Assisting with servicing property meetings (i.e., circulating papers, coordinating actions where required).
• Responsible for the recording of void premises and issuing of building keys.
• Occasionally provide assistance to the Trust’s reception/office manager for general office duties and reception cover if required.

Knowledge and Experience:

• A minimum of one year’s experience in a busy property department.
• A broad understanding of commercial property or demonstrable experience of transferable skills if you are from a different sector.
• Customer focused, with the ability to provide a friendly and efficient service to customers, staff and tenants.
• Good time management, attention to detail, organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure with changing priorities.
• Excellent administrative skills.
• High level IT skills and experience of using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
