About you:
The Creative and Content Officer is an exciting role at MDUK, that will sit within the Marketing and Communication Team.
You will develop and create impactful content across a wide range of formats, managing production workflow, and supporting our brand work.
You will help deliver projects using your skills and those of external partners in the production of content such as design artwork, social graphics and copy. You will also support in the project management of creative projects.

Key Responsibilities

Lead social media strategy and engagement across Meta, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube; manage calendar, publishing, housekeeping and audience engagement.

Source, shape and publish supporter stories and web news items.

Ensure brand consistency and tone of voice across all outputs; support brand sign-off and content request workflows.

Identify, test, and fully implement new digital and community fundraising opportunities; lead discovery and delivery for audience targeted products (e.g., motorsport fundraising).

Collaborate confidently across teams to align priorities, timelines and standards.

Assist with in-house training (social best practice, content creation, platform processes, ad creation).

The kind of person we are looking for:
Essential criteria

At least a year’s proven experience in a relevant role within a charity setting.

In-depth, up-to-date knowledge of social media platforms and campaigns, including planning, processes and scheduling tools (e.g., content calendars, workflow management, and best practice for engagement).

Experience creating and managing paid ad campaigns on social media (e.g., Meta Ads Manager; audience targeting, creative testing, optimisation, reporting).

Proficiency in creating digital content, including video and image editing (e.g., Canva, After Effects, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro).

Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills.

Day-to-Day Overview

You’ll also act as the central point for coordinating bids and grant applications, working closely with Project Leads and the CEO to ensure opportunities are identified, tracked, and progressed. Alongside this, you’ll manage local corporate partnerships and sponsorships, building relationships that support our events and wider fundraising activity. This is a hands-on, mid-level role where your experience and initiative will shape how our fundraising operates and grow our income locally.

The Brain Charity is a Liverpool-based national charity supporting adults, children and their families affected by any of more than 600 neurological and related conditions. Founded in 1993 by neurologists at The Walton Centre, we have grown a centre-based offer, hospital liaison roles and a national information, training and support service - from practical welfare and legal advice, counselling and rehabilitation (Neuro Gym) to peer connection via The Brain Food Café and employer/school training. As our next Chief Executive, you will:
- Strategic leadership: Develop and deliver a 3–5 year strategy and an operational plan with clear priorities that secures the charity’s long-term impact and sustainable growth.
- Values leadership: Model and embed the charity’s person-centred, inclusive and co-productive values across services and culture.
- Growth & income diversification: Lead development of diverse income streams — fundraising, legacies and commercial activity — to strengthen financial resilience.

- Governance & financial stewardship: Provide timely, high-quality reporting to the Board; oversee budgeting, forecasting and risk management to safeguard financial sustainability.
Who you are:
- An experienced Chief Executive or senior director with a minimum of three years’ experience at CEO or equivalent level.
- Proven track record of winning and managing commissioned contracts and delivering against local authority or health contracts.
- Skilled at building strategic partnerships and commanding credibility with senior stakeholders across health, local government and the voluntary sector.
- Confident at leading turnaround and financial sustainability work - experienced in budgeting, forecasting and making difficult decisions when needed.
- A values-led, collaborative leader with high emotional intelligence, resilience and a commitment to co-production and inclusion.

As the Alumni Officer, you will be someone who enjoys working with young people and is passionate about supporting them to progress to vibrant degrees and careers in STEM. The post holder will have strong knowledge and understanding of the barriers facing young people from low socioeconomic backgrounds accessing STEM education and careers across the UK.
The Alumni Officer will deliver the continuation of support for hundreds young people who complete the In2STEM programme every year, supporting them with continued support throughout year 13/S6 as they progress to post FE education, apprenticeships and training, and providing long term careers opportunities.

The Role
Working with a committed and talented team, the Finance Officer is responsible for:
- Recording transactions in our accounting software (Iplicit) and keeping financial records accurate and up to date
- Preparing payments and liaising with banks and payment platforms
- Supporting month-end reporting, reconciliations, and management accounts
- Assisting with annual audit preparation
- Working closely with colleagues across Peace Direct to ensure grants and programmes are well supported
About You: We’re looking for someone who is:
- Educated to A level and/or working towards a relevant accounting qualification

You'll maintain accurate records by entering data into Salesforce- our customer database, checking reports match, and organising documentation. Our motorsports engagement strategy, which sits under our global STEM strategy, seeks to accelerate sector-wide change in motorsport within the next three years. As the Senior Impact Manager, Motorsports Engagement, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining strategic relationships with motorsports employers to support young people from underrepresented backgrounds into early career opportunities. Working closely with Formula 1 and its teams, as well as a broader network of STEM-related organisations across the UK, US, and Brazil, you will lead collaboration efforts to influence inclusive recruitment and retention practices in motorsports, and enhance career access and progression. With a strong external focus, you will also support Mission 44’s fundraising goals, representing the organisation at high-profile events, stewarding key corporate accounts, and helping secure investment in our programmes and mission.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
DELIVERY OF MOTORSPORTS ENGAGEMENT STRATEGY (70%)

Play a key role in the development and execution of Mission 44’s new Motorsports strategy, to create access opportunities for young people from underrepresented backgrounds within STEM sectors, particularly motorsports.

Build trusted relationships with key motorsport employers and stakeholders, including F1, F1 teams, FIA, and relevant STEM employers, to drive sector-wide change, focusing on increasing demand for underrepresented talent, adoption of inclusive recruitment practices, and awareness of Mission 44’s work and impact.

Apply and continually improve the convening strategy and toolkits to Mission 44’s STEM work, helping determine when and how convening can most effectively support our goal of inspiring and supporting young people (aged 14–30) in the UK and US to access careers in STEM and motorsport.

Collaborate with the Engagement Directorate, nonprofit partners and corporates to design and deliver high-impact STEM career experiences at Formula 1 races and other key events - some of which will be international - ensuring alignment with Mission 44’s objectives and offering young people meaningful exposure to career pathways.
EXTERNAL REPRESENTATION AND ENGAGEMENT (20%)
