About the role

We are seeking an experienced, strategic and collaborative leader to provide direction and oversight for our Advocacy and Creative Programme, including the Commonwealth People’s Forum, our flagship event at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting, the Commonwealth Short Story Prize, and other high-profile initiatives that bring together civil society, policymakers, creative practitioners and other stakeholders from across the Commonwealth.
This is an opportunity to shape one of the Foundation’s flagship programmes, working at the intersection of advocacy and creativity to influence Commonwealth decision-making processes and amplify civil society voices.
As Senior Manager, Advocacy and Creative Programme, you will provide strategic direction, manage a high-performing team, cultivate influential partnerships, and deliver impactful advocacy, engagement and creative initiatives. Working with civil society partners, storytellers, artists and policymakers, you will design and oversee programmes that foster dialogue and strengthen civic participation.

About the Role
As a Support Caseworker, you will provide timely, compassionate and person-centred support to individuals and families referred to our services. Through structured holistic conversations, you will identify individual needs, develop personalised support plans, and help people access information, practical guidance, peer support and appropriate internal and external services.
Working closely with colleagues, healthcare professionals and partner organisations, you will support individuals to navigate key stages of their journey, ensuring they feel informed, empowered and connected to the right support at the right time. You will contribute to the consistent delivery of high quality support pathways while maintaining accurate records and working in line with safeguarding, consent and data protection requirements.
This role does not provide clinical advice but works collaboratively with healthcare professionals and other partners to ensure people receive the support they need.

We are looking for a collaborative, organised and supporter-focused Supporter Experience and Journeys Lead to help us deliver excellent experiences for the people who support St Catherine’s Hospice.
St Catherine’s Hospice is a respected local charity providing specialist hospice care alongside statutory service partners (GPs, District nursing etc) across West Sussex and East Surrey.

The Role:
This is a key role within our Income Generation & Marketing department, helping to strengthen supporter relationships, improve stewardship and maximise income so we can continue providing outstanding specialist palliative and end of life care across our community.
This post is offered on a part time, permanent basis, working 30 hours per week, working pattern to be agreed with the successful candidate around business need.
At St Catherine’s we offer work from home opportunities however this is adaptable depending on business need and regular onsite attendance is required.
About You:
You will oversee the day-to-day delivery of supporter journeys, working closely with fundraising, supporter services, data and insight, marketing and communications colleagues to ensure every supporter receives timely, empathetic and professional communication.
You will help identify supporter needs and pain points, test and improve journeys, and create practical guidance that enables teams across the hospice to take a consistent, supporter-first approach.
You will bring a wealth of experience of working in a supporter journey role, with a strong understanding of what excellent supporter care looks like. You will be confident building relationships across teams, able to manage multiple priorities and committed to improving supporter experiences through insight, empathy and attention to detail.
