About the Role

The Digital Content Manager will support the organisation by devising and delivering an effective online content strategies and producing high-quality, creative written and audio-visual content that aligns with the charity’s goals, target audience and brand identity.

• Lead the development of written and audiovisual content for our digital platforms
• Develop and implement a content strategy for our digital channels (working closely with the social media team) and a set of guiding principles for producing engaging, accessible, search optimised content across all channels
• Create written, graphic and audiovisual digital content, and devise creative content ideas to support campaigns, appeals and organisational priorities
• Provide video editing services to the organisation as required
• Manage ongoing relationships with agencies and/or freelancers to deliver digital content
• Work with the Digital Officer and Senior Digital Manager to ensure all new content is optimised for SEO
• Work with the case study manager to produce story-based content which can be used to give a case for support across our website and social channels
• Contribute to the development and ongoing maintenance of content for a bereavement self-help product/platform and the bereavement content on our website
• Explore new and engaging ways to tell our story through animation, audio, written content and imagery
• Support with video and other content production for internal use, where needed

About You

• Ability to create impactful and compelling online content (written copy, graphics, video and audio)
• Excellent written English and proofreading skills
• Excellent understanding of best practice when writing for online platforms, including a good understanding of accessibility requirements for digital communications
• Excellent video production skills, from conception through to editing and resizing for different platforms
• Experience using Canva, Photoshop or other design software to create graphics
• A creative flair and ability to contribute new ideas for content to projects and campaigns
• Experience of using content management systems (CMS) – we use Wagtail
• Experience in developing and executing content strategies
• Experience working and collaborating with digital agencies and other external suppliers, including procurement and contracting processes
• Strong understanding of SEO best practices and principles and keyword research
• Understanding of user journeys and IA and the role quality content plays in these
• Understanding of best practices with digital communications to supporters and service users
• Experienced in collecting insights using various tools (including GA4 and Search Console) to understand how content is performing

The Role 

We are looking for a Supporter Engagement Assistant to join our Supporter Engagement Team to help us build strong and lasting relationships with our charity's supporters and donors.

Reporting to the Supporter Engagement Officer, as Supporter Engagement Assistant you will deliver excellent customer service over the telephone, in written (email and postal) communications and face to face, ensuring that supporters' details are accurately recorded on the CRM database. You will be representing the charity, explaining its purpose, and demonstrating our charity values to donors/supporters, showing appropriate empathy to those who may have cancer or a family member/friend who does.

This role provides a great opportunity to make a real difference to the people of Yorkshire and requires someone with a friendly manner, good team-working skills, great customer service and excellent organisational skills. 

Specifically, you will: 

• Ensure supporter communications are accurate, timely and appropriate to the recipient. This includes following the relevant pathways to process donations, record legacy pledges, update key information so that the communication is tailored and relevant to the individual supporter.  

• Work alongside the Supporter Engagement Officer and other colleagues to improve the initial welcome journey for newly acquired donors and the onward stewardship of all supporters.  

• Conduct research and contribute ideas to improve supporter journeys and implement these processes independently.  

• Update supporter records on the charity’s CRM database to reflect changes in marketing permissions, personal details, the charity's relationship with the supporter (e.g. Volunteer/ Donor etc) and any communications between the supporter and the charity.  

• Use the CRM database to run supplied data queries to deliver campaigns (e.g. using Mail Merge) and to create and deliver supporter communications, this includes printing and posting letters, sending emails, making updates to supporter records and fulfilling requests for information.   

• Undertake other duties and take on a lead role in delivering projects and campaigns relevant to the purpose of the role as requested by members of the CRM, Marketing, Fundraising or Research & Impact teams.   

• Assist the wider Fundraising team at charity run and/or external events to represent the charity, help achieve agreed targets and provide exceptional stewardship to supporters.   

• Monitor inbound emails and telephone calls to the charity, forwarding to the relevant colleague (if unable to provide a response) or responding and actioning.   

 
About You 

To be considered for this role, you will need: 

• To be ideally educated to A-Level or equivalent level. 

• To have customer service experience in a similar or related role (e.g. telephone/ databases/ office).  

• To have high computer literacy with comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel and Outlook.  

• To have previous experience of working with databases (e.g. Access or Raiser's Edge).  

• To be up to date with the requirements of GDPR and confident in adhering to these requirements.  

• To be up to date with Safeguarding and confident in raising any concerns.  

• To enjoy delivering excellent customer service and customer/supporter interaction.  

• To be happy to work independently and ask for support where this is needed but also like to both work with and support colleagues as part of a team working towards a common goal.  

• To have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to use active listening skills, and write professionally and appropriately for a range of diverse audiences. Has a good grasp of grammar, spelling and of the spoken word.  

• To have strong organisational skills and performs their work to an extremely high level of accuracy and professionalism, paying close attention to detail.  

• To be able to present data and information in a way that is helpful and actionable to others.  

• To be able to manage multiple workstreams, with the ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.

The Learning and Skills Development Co-Ordinator will lead on developing a program of training, learning, volunteering and work experience for the residents of Homeless Oxfordshire that increase self esteem, engagement and motivation. You will work collaboratively and creatively across the organisation, as well as with partners, stake-holders, and the wider community. Improving community relations and help us secure support from local training providers and employers where resident participation in the wider community will help break down stigmas surrounding homelessness and addiction.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Devise and deliver a structured programme of training and education (both formal and informal) to improve our residents' skills and confidence which prepares them for the next stage of their lives.
• As part of the LEAP team work closely with the Activities Co-Ordinator to deliver a comprehensive programme of engagement, developing skills to move away from homelessness.
• Work with partners and residents to design training that is tailored to the needs of our residents.
• Develop and maintain external relationships with local training providers, organisations and employers to find various opportunities and maintain those relationships.
• Support on design of the peer mentoring training and traineeship programmes.
• Identify and support volunteering opportunities.
• Take a strengths-based approach to facilitate teams and residents identifying their talents, skills and build their self-esteem.

About LEAP

LEAP is built on the foundation of strong, supportive relationships that empower residents to move towards stable, independent living. Through one-to-one key worker support, trauma-informed care, and community engagement, residents rebuild trust, form friendships, and gain confidence. Activities like gardening, arts and crafts, and creative writing foster connection and personal growth, while group involvement helps residents feel part of a wider community. LEAP also supports residents to take steps into peer mentoring, volunteering, and training, helping them build positive networks beyond their immediate circle and develop the skills and confidence to thrive independently.

At LEAP, community involvement is at the heart of their work. Empowering residents through co-production is a key organisational goal. LEAP offer a range of inclusive engagement methods—from informal gatherings like group breakfasts and creative activities, to structured sessions such as support needs mapping and Residents’ Forums. These forums provide regular opportunities for feedback and co-design, with input reaching senior management and trustees. They are enhancing resident engagement by developing a mutual support network for staff with lived experience of homelessness and/or addiction. Over three years, the project aims to support 750 individuals. Through a wide range of engaging and meaningful activities, residents will experience positive outcomes such as increased confidence, self-esteem, and a sense of inclusion. They will build supportive networks, learn key life skills and access training, volunteering, and employment opportunities. Many will gain qualifications and secure long-term accommodation. The project strengthens peer support and enables residents to shape services through formalised Residents’ Forums, ensuring their voices influence senior decision-making. For Homeless Oxfordshire, LEAP enhances our capacity to deliver peer-led support, builds staff knowledge, and informs service improvement. Wider community benefits include reduced stigma around homelessness, stronger partnerships with employers and organisations, and improved understanding of the issues faced by our residents—ultimately contributing to a more inclusive and compassionate society.

London Youth Gateway is a sector leading service supporting 18-25 year-olds facing homelessness or rough sleeping across the capital. Our mission is to make sure young Londoners bounce back quickly and safely in times of crisis and to prevent or solve their homelessness for good. You will be playing a leading role in helping to shape the work of the partnership, its collaborative processes as well as its connections with each of the London local authorities.

The Salvation Army Community Services Department is seeking to recruit two experienced social or community work professionals to offer targeted professional advice and guidance to local missional settings (various SA centres including churches) to deliver their missional priorities. They will work with local leaders who are seeking to effectively engage with their respective communities, using community-based services as a key platform and discipleship space to connect individuals and the ‘non-churched’ to the Mission of The Salvation Army.

You will be part of a wider team who seek to enable, empower and equip local SA churches and community settings to ‘stand on their own feet’, via peer-to-peer learning /communities of best practice and thereby not be as reliant on National (THQ) resources. You will also spend up to one day a week as a practitioner based in a local SA church or other SA community setting.

How you will make a difference

This role supports the organisation through a strong focus on business intelligence, data collation, and analytics. It plays a critical part in ensuring contract compliance through the development of effective systems and supporting quality improvement. The role involves contract reporting and the preparation of PowerBI dashboards, apps, reports, and presentations to inform strategic decision-making.

Key areas of focus include Criminal Justice, Peer Support Groups, People Analytics, Fundraising, Finance, and Risk and Governance. The postholder will work across these domains to provide clear insights and contribute to organisational learning and development.

Working hours for this role are flexible. It is a home-based position, but we value in-person collaboration, so some travel will be required to main office locations (primarily London) and occasional visits to services across the UK.

About the team

This is an important role based in a busy Operations team which covers office management, information technology, finance and human resources. The team play a key role in supporting the organisation to achieve its mission of supporting young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to succeed.

The Operations team comprises the Director of Finance and Operations, HR and Learning Manager, Head of Finance, HR Officer, Finance and Operations Assistant and a part time Administrator. Payroll and IT support are outsourced.

About this role

The Executive Assistant (EA) to the Chief Executive at Impetus plays a vital role in providing high-level administrative and project management support to the Chief Executive and ensuring the smooth operating of the Senior Management Team (SMT). The EA acts as a key liaison between the Chief Executive and internal/external stakeholders, managing sensitive information and handling a wide range of administrative and executive support tasks.

This dynamic position requires the ability to anticipate needs, think critically, and offer creative solutions to problems with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Key responsibilities

Executive Support:

• Provide sophisticated calendar management for the Chief Executive.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on all matters pertaining to the Chief Executive, including those of a highly confidential or critical nature.
• Prioritise and determine the appropriate course of action, referral, or response, exercising judgement to reflect the Chief Executive’s style and organisational policy.
• Prioritise inquiries and requests while troubleshooting conflicts; make judgements and recommendations to ensure smooth day-to-day engagements.
• Anticipate the Chief Executive’s needs (e.g. travel bookings, briefings, preparation time) in advance of meetings, conferences, etc.
• Coordinate all SMT meetings and offsites and assist with staff meetings and events as needed.
• Work closely with the Chief Executive to keep them well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately.
• Act as a "barometer," having a sense for the issues taking place in the environment and keeping the Chief Executive updated.
• Provide a "gatekeeper" and "gateway" role, providing a bridge for smooth communication between the Chief Executive and staff, demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust and support with the senior management team.
• Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks that facilitate the CEO’s ability to effectively lead the organisation including: assisting with special projects; designing and producing complex documents, reports, and presentations; collecting and preparing information for meetings with staff and outside parties; composing and preparing correspondence; maintaining contact lists; making travel arrangements; and completing expenses.

Governance:

• Act as a liaison and provide support to the Board of Directors.
• Arrange and handle all logistics for Board meetings, sub committees and events: schedule meetings; draft agendas; develop, compile, and distribute presentation materials and record meeting minutes.

Operations Support:

• Support a professional and effective office/remote working environment for Impetus staff.
• Assist the Director of Finance and Operations (DFO) with any ad hoc Operations duties and projects, such as an office move, health and safety reviews, optimising remote and agile working.
• Assist the HR and Learning Manager with HR administration, including straightforward queries, recruitment support and ad hoc projects where needed.

Qualifications and Experience

• Significant executive support experience, acting as a trusted advisor and support to senior colleague/s (ideally within the charity or not for profit sector).
• Good business acumen and a keen interest and understanding of operations support.
• Excellent technical skills. Experience utilising CRM systems effectively; expert proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to design and edit graphic presentations and materials.
• Exceptional organisational skills and impeccable attention to detail.

As a Store Manager you will manage the day to day running of our Sheffield – Broomhill Store, leading a team of colleagues to maximise store sales and profits. Working Pattern: As the store is open 7 days a week, the successful post holder will be required to on a rota basis which will include weekend, evening, and bank holiday working.

Each of the Support Network Coordinators have the responsibility for delivering, maintaining, and expanding the support services available to spinal cord injured (SCI) people and their region of the UK.

The post coordinates two vital parallel strands:

1. In your region, to reach and support newly and long-term spinal cord injured people and their families developing a strong partnership with all available specialist services, charity and business partners; managing a dedicated team of volunteers as well as providing direct support to SCI people with more complex support needs.
2. Nationally, working to facilitate the link between SCI people and SIA and the network of services; referring SCI people and their families to our clinical / health expert support teams and advocacy services; working with the Digital Engagement team to build on-line links to regional partners in your area; supporting fundraising, campaigns and communications.

Duties and Responsibilities

This is the job for your if you’re good at:

• Building strong relationships – you’ll be talking to everyone from people with SCI and their families, to healthcare professionals, solicitors and partners who deliver key services.
• Identifying opportunities – to expand SIA’s portfolio of services, we’ll need your knowledge of organisations and individuals that provide services to those affected by spinal cord injury.
