We are seeking a new Trustee to join our Board with a digital skill set and experience in marketing and communications as well as the ability to deliver core Trustee responsibilities. A background or interest in healthcare and/or education would be an advantage. We are looking to this Trustee to share their skills and expertise with the executive team to develop a highly effective digital, marketing and communications capability that supports our aspirations for growth. We would welcome applications from candidates who are early/mid career.
Education for Health is a charity that aims to improve the lives of people with long term physical and mental health conditions by providing high quality education to health care professionals and others who support them.
The Board meet four times a year and this Trustee would also be a member of the Commercial Committee which typically meets four times per year. Meetings are a mixture of in person at our offices in Warwickshire and on line. The role is voluntary but we pay travel expenses. Trustees are recruited for an initial term of three years and can serve up to three consecutive terms.
Trustees are responsible for the overall governance and strategic direction of Education for Health and for developing the organisation’s aims, objectives and goals, whilst operating within financial, legal and regulatory guidelines. In addition to the core responsibilities of Trustees we are seeking an individual who can use their rpofessional expertise to fulfil the following responsibilities:
Working in support of the executive, use professional skills and expertise to provide advice, guidance and oversight of the digital, marketing and communications deliverables.
Oversight and contribution to the Education for Health marketing strategy through challenge and support
Scrutiny of the opportunities for growth identified by the executive with support to identify potential gaps in the market and ideas to penetrate new markets.
Support the executive with the creation of digital marketing strategies, website and social media management and content development to drive revenue growth
Guide the team to generate internet presence, search engine optimisation and creation of market funnels that lead to purchase of courses
Contribute to the development of the Education for Health brand and product development
Guide the Education for Health communication strategy to ensure appropriate channels for key messaging
Make recommendations to optimise digital solutions and AI to drive Education for Health profile and operational efficiency
Support the development of a comprehensive network of influential voices within the NHS and wider sectors that can provide further steer to the marketing strategy
Familiarity with learning technologies and the use of AI in an educational context would be an advantage

Key Responsibilities:
- Help create a friendly and inclusive community space in the café by greeting customers with a friendly attitude
- Operate the till with card transactions (training will be provided).
- Maintain excellent hygiene and health & safety standards, including clearing and wiping tables, washing up, and ensuring the kitchen and seating areas are clean and tidy.
No experience required. Food hygiene training is required. Full training will be provided. This volunteer opportunity would suit someone with a strong positive attitude who has effective communication skills. We also require the individual to be reliable and punctual with the ability to be a team player. A resilient and non-judgmental attitude, with a willingness to learn is also required to succeed in this role.

Our mission is to bring sunshine into people’s lives through grassroots, community-led programmes that spark joy, foster friendships, and transform lives.
We are now seeking a Wellbeing Wednesdays Coordinator with a Heart of Gold to lead the set-up, delivery, and coordination of our uplifting 12-week programme, which runs several times a year with different wellbeing activities and sessions designed to boost health, happiness, and resilience.

About Bethel
Bethel Health and Healing Network is an NHS-commissioned charity providing health and wellbeing support to families across the West Midlands.
Our Doula Service, led by a highly experienced former NHS midwife, supports hundreds of women every year, especially those facing difficult life circumstances, such as isolation, poverty, or involvement with social services.
The Role
As a Volunteer Doula, you’ll:

Offer practical and emotional support to expectant and new mothers.

Accompany women to appointments, provide reassurance during labour, and visit post-birth if needed.

Each volunteering journey is unique. You’ll be matched with one or more women to support throughout their maternity experience.

This role sits within our new Coproduction and Transformation Project
The role of the Co-Production Volunteer is central to the success of the Co-Production and Transformation and Engagement Project. Volunteers bring lived experience, local knowledge, and critical perspectives to support the redesign of mental health services, so they are inclusive, accessible, and rooted in the real needs of those who use them.
This role exists to ensure that service users, carers, and community members have a meaningful voice in shaping decisions that affect care delivery. Volunteers will work alongside professionals, clinical teams, and other stakeholders to challenge assumptions, identify gaps, highlight strengths, and co-create improvements. Whether drawing from personal experiences of mental health challenges, supporting someone through the system, or working in the community, volunteers act as equal partners in transformation. They help build bridges between professionals and service users, promote accountability, and encourage a culture of openness and innovation.
Through structured engagement such as workshops, advisory groups, feedback panels, and co-design activities, the Co-Production Volunteers will contribute to the long-term sustainability and responsiveness of mental health services. Their insights help ensure that care is not only clinically effective but also emotionally safe, culturally sensitive, and aligned with what matters most to the people it serves.
Main Tasks
· Attend monthly co-production workshops, steering groups, or feedback sessions
· Share personal and/or collective experiences to inform service transformation
· Provide administrative support- send and respond to emails, input information on our database
· Review materials and provide feedback (e.g., policies, pathways, information leaflets)
· Participate in recruitment panels, focus groups, and pilot testing where appropriate
